All power, absolute power has been given to Jesus. My Lord, use your power to secure me totally in YOU forever. Let my family, friends, and all that love you be saved by this Power. Let us all be delivered and set free totally from this world by this power. And at the end, count us worthy to be with you. Amen.

    On Jedidiah's comment on Acts 2:38 2/18/2016:
Before Jesus ascension back to His Father, He gave the disciples/apostles the great commission or commandment: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. Matthew 28: 19, 20 (This is first hand information)
  • Daniel on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
We have a Triune God a Holy Trinity, Jesus said in Matthew 28:19 go ye therefore and teach All Nations baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son

Verse 20 encourages us to not only teach Bible knowledge, but also to teach people to apply it by observing the things written in the Bible.

Jesus told his disciples to go into the world to preach the gospel .And to go to all four corners of the world to preach the gospel . And to tell them that receive him that he will be with us always unto the end.And for us his children not to be afraid. And go ye therefore and babtising them in the name of the father, son, and the holy spirit.

Alway is the right word. It means all the way, while always means something else , not meaning what Jesus meant. So this is way alway was used. he would be with us by his Spirit, all the way til the end.

There is no place in the bible that said infant and babies when talking about baptizing. Throughout the bible it said the person being baptized must except Christ in their lives. A baby can't do that. After they are baptized they must live a godly life. Their decision, no one else can decide for them. Please check it out. God bless

Baptizing in the name is a commandment Matt. 28:19,20 Acts 10:48 . Mimicking what someone commands is not the same as obeying what is commanded. Jesus commanded His Apostles to baptize in THE one name and they obeyed Acts 8:12,16 10:47,48 19:5 2:38,39 . Only one name has authority to save us Acts 4:11,12 John 20:31 1 Pet. 3:21 Acts 10:43 Eph. 4:5 Mark 16:16 . There was always opposition against the use of the name Acts 4:17,18 5:28,29,39-42 .

It was THE WRITER of the Book of Acts who told us what Peter said in Acts 2:38,39. And it was THE WRITER of the Book of Matthew who told us that Jesus spoke the words in Matthew 28:19,20. Both men wrote under inspiration of God. These scriptures do not contradict. Both agree with Acts 4:11,12. There are no contradictions in scripture. If you think you know one pray for understanding.

Jesus didn't make a mistake when He chose the 12 Apostles. He knew what they would do and teach. In fact He told them that whatever they bound on earth would be bound in heaven and whatever they loosed on earth would be loosed in heaven. That's how much he trusted them with the gospel.. He knew they would keep His words to the death. Matthew 28:19,20 and Acts 2:37,38

Robert L in Matthew 27 Christ died around the ninth hour and Daniel 26 says it was in the midst of the week that Christ was crucified. Three days and three nights from Wednesday about the ninth hour would be the ninth hour on Saturday. Read Matthew 28:1
Matthew 28:1 In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher.
Notice the word "IN". That tells me it was still the Sabbath.

Verses 12 - 15 can make someone wonder if Jesus really did raise again, but not me, cause I know He is very real. Just look at the words He spoke while on earth, and the signs of the end times. But I have my very personal walk and experiences to let me know that The Holy trinity of God is very real !!!!! I praise the Lord each day and am in His word always. I keep in perpetual prayer in my heart!!

God's word is His command to me and all that know Him as Lord and Savior : God's word is not optional : I cannot pick and choose nor is His word a buffet !!! What my Lord has spoken to me I believe I am to share with my fellow believers : the only word that the lost and unbelievers need to know is of the salvation that is available to them through the death , burial , and resurrection of Jesus Christ .I am not to give that which is Holy unto the dogs. God is with me always when I observe to be doing His word in accordance with His will.

Let's just get out and " GO " : Teaching what you have been taught from His word : You cannot teach but only what you have experienced yourself : If you have Jesus name then you have God the Father : God the Son and God the Holy Spirit !!!! He is all IN all .

Althougth the word TRINITY is not in the Bible the concept is, acording to Jesus. Matthew 28:19 " Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." The Son ergo would be the second person of the Godhood.

If you are saved, you don't have to be rebaptized. If you are trusting your water baptism to get you to heaven then believe the gospel in 1 Cor 15:1-4 and trust Jesus Christ to save you then get Gentile water baptism Matthew 28:19. Water baptism doesn't save. Believing the gospel which is the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and trusting His shed blood to get you to heaven is what saves. 1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
