I agree that Satan uses man to change the story as the story has certainly been changed. I believe the main point of the Bible is that man was lost in need of a Savior. So, God the Father sent His son, Yeshua Jesus , a Hebrew to do just that.

Man can not live by his understanding alone we are like sheep and sheep are not known to be smart Yes it is important to follow the whole bible word for word every word counts. But the main point of the bible is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God the Father and Satan uses man like Eve in the garden, very subtly to change the story. Now we know as Christens without Christ you can not get through

Yes it is important to follow the whole bible word for word every word counts. But the main point of the bible is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God the Father and Satan uses man like Eve in the garden, very subtly to change the story. Now we know as Christens without Christ you can not get through to the father.... Example the Muslim book follows the old testament but Jesus not son of God.
Nothing is to small for God to be concerned about. To get all of the meat off the bone, one should be concerned about all details, however small. Failure to do so may result in the incorrect understanding of the meaning of Scripture.
Sometime we get trivial over the small details we are taliking about Jesus Chri - In Reply on Matthew 2 - 6 years ago
Sometime we as Christians get caught up on the small details of the bible which satin loves, the focus here should be the son of god who had been preordained to come into this world to be a narrow gate to salvation for those that believe he is the son of god had come to pass just as the before this time profits had prophesied
The Bible doesn't say the number of wise men. This is accurate. But, it was the shepherds who first saw the baby Jesus. By the time the wise men saw the child, He was not an infant but a small child.
Outta of Egypt have i called my Son which was the Nation of Israel but Christ was also called out of EGYPT,WHEN ISRAEL was a child i loved him and called my son out of Egypt and we know when the nation of Israel his SON was born it was in the month of Abib approx the 14 th equates to April th 2 nd our calendar also Passover thus his SON Christ th lamb of God wd have to be born in april 2 ty jesus
JESUS is the Star of David me. HE is what guides by HIS Word, HE is the star Light of my life. That Star as becomes a HEro represents JESUS. The Eastern Star as HE ascended in the Eastern sky HE is returning back in that same Eastern sky will outshine that star because HE is the True Star of us True Sheeps Life. Bless Love all through the creator of the stars universe. HE's coming soon.
We assume that there were three wise men because of the three gifts that were given: gold, incense, and myrrh Matthew 2:11 . However, the Bible does not say there were only three wise men. There could have been many more. Tradition says that there were three and that their names were Gaspar Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar Balthazar.
God will still remain a wise man, speaking to Joseph on the dream was good coz he made them to be alert coz the enemy was upto kil the new born baby. tha tswhy he led the wise men to where the new born 2as.God wil remain God...
Andrew - the spiritual lesson here is that God provided a guide - no doubt about that! Be it a star or something else in the sky over 2000 years ago is not the fundamental point. Yes, I believe God can do anything - and my belief is not governed by physical world universe limitations otherwise I would not believe that Jesus performed his many healings. May God be with you.
Don't forget, the Lord can do all things...what would prevent the Maker of the stars from moving one to guide the wise men to His Son's birth, worship and celebration. "With God, all things are possible."
God said it and i believe it but even if i don't want to or i can't understand it, god said it so that settles it. - 2 timothy3:16-17 his truth will set us free now and eternally.
Did God say it? Or rather the wise men did? Everybody knows that if a star is close enough to be followed, everyone around would be burnt completely. I'm Christian, but I doesn't mean I lost my intelligence. When you read Jesus teachings and its wisdom, that's God's word. However the Gospel has some stories anecdotes. For instance, the story of Herod killing John, is God's word? Or just an story?
Andrew, if God says in Matthew chapter 2, that the wise men were guided by the star, I believe God's word. I would be very careful in how you don't believe God's word. Very dangerous.
Notice how you said, " I don't think". This isn't about what WE think my brother. This is about what God's word says. God's word is above YOU. YOU are NOT above IT. It is above me, and it is above all of us. It was a star that guided them because God said it was a star. Mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you in the name of our Lord Christ Jesus. Shalom.
I don't think the wise men were guided by a star. Maybe an alien craft? Stars are not moving around to guide travelers and just stop above where Jesus was. Something else was guiding the wise men towards Jesus.
Matthew 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. He was born King of the Jews. Born- again are Jews
Verse 12 Many believe that God sent the start but in this verse we see that Jehovah God is not directing the men to Herod as the star originally had done.
We know that God is not slack in him promise to his children and we know that he will all ways be there when we call on his name he come in to the world as a baby but he is Lord over all .thank you Lord for saving my sole and makeing me whole
Matthew 2:19 View whole chapter See verse in context But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt. This is when Jesus was a little baby. Now who is this Herod that killed John? when Jesus was an adult.
Matthew 2:19 View whole chapter See verse in context But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, If Herod died here, how is it that he is still alive in Pauls time. He sit in judgement of Paul.
Matthew 2:6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
