First I must say that questions as such"why God kills or asks others to kill, despite "do not kill",are made by many atheists that were members of the SDA,but now turned demonic atheists.
They well know the letter of the Bible and now use it in their demonic posts to deny GOD and to contradict His Word.In fact they are killers, killers of souls.
They know that when GOD said to the people of Israel through Moses," do not kill", it had already passed around 2500 years(two days and half of GOD's work),and the commandment was exclusively for the people of GOD,Israel. It was given in the OT, not in the NT,very different of the OT. See, GOD was creating a new environment for His seed, descendants of Abraham, when He brought His people out of Egypt. GOD separated His people Israel from the midst of the Gentilic peoples, from the midst of the idolaters and murderers peoples, actually He divided waters from the waters- Genesis 1:6-10-and then appeared the dry land-Israel.
Now see, around 2500 years before GOD's commandment Cain had killed Abel.Who commanded Cain do it?It was not GOD,so who? It was the father of Cain, the Devil,a former Cherub, former ruler of Eden, also father of the current atheists and false Christianity and others adherents of devilish religions.
In the other hand, after GOD brought Israel from Egypt and placed the people in the Promised Land, there GOD established the Law and rules to discipline the people and free them from all the SATANIC influence they carried with them from the Gentile, specially from the Egyptians and their satanic idolatries.Desobedience, i.e. witchcraft,it would be punished in the Promised Land, even to the death penalty(Compare: Luke 12:4 and Deuteronomy 32:39.By the way,GOD IS GOD).
This battle started when the Cherub which GOD have placed as a ruler of Eden(now called SON OF PERDITION and MAN OF SIN,the Devil and Satan)planned to USURP GOD's creation and to create a specific world for he himself- Matthew 4:8-9.
What is the meaning of created? Does it mean something that is made out of nothing? I would have to say no, Jesus is the Son of God who was conceived in the womb of Mary, Matthew 1:20Luke 1:35, I do not think I would say He was created.
If so, when did He come into existence?
In God's plan before anything and physically when He was conceived in Mary's womb.
Do you believe that the Son is only human in nature?
Jesus is the Son of God fully human but without sin same as the first Adam, Scripture is clear when Jesus was baptized, He was anointed with the Holy Ghost/Spirit without measure, John 3:34. All the works of Jesus were done by the Spirit of God, Matthew 4:16Matthew 12:28Acts 10:38.
Do you believe that Jesus became "the Christ" during His lifetime (Adoptionism)?
I had never heard of Adoptionism until now, I had to look it up, it's false. Christ and Messiah are the same; Jesus was anointed by the Spirit of God after He was baptized by John, He then was made the Messiah/Christ fulfilling the prophecy in Daniel 9:25. Jesus is the Son of God conceived in the womb of Mary by the Holy Ghost/Spirit.
Do you believe Jesus ever aquired a divine nature in His earthly life?
If you mean a divine nature is to have all the attributes that make God who He is I would have to say no. If so, Jesus could not sin or be tempted, Matthew 4:1Hebrews 4:15. If so, Jesus living a perfect life without sin is meaningless. Jesus could not have died; Jesus was given the power of the Holy Spirit when He was anointed the Messiah. After He rose from the dead God gave Jesus all power in heaven and on earth, Matthew 28:18. God raised and placed Jesus on His right side, Ephesians 1:21-23. Jesus did not return to where He was before, God the Father placed everything under Jesus God's only begotten Son's feet and Jesus will reign until the last enemy is destroyed, 1 Corinthians 15:24-28.
It seems you have the Bible only in your hands, but have not the Word of GOD in heart. This explain why you believe in esoteric, and kabbalistic, and spiritists,AND FICTITIOUS names of God, which Satan stealthy introduced in the OT, in Torah,Jewish Scriptures-Tanack,as if were names of the true GOD,but are fictitious NAMES from your heart are JEHOVAH,YAHWEH,YHWH,ADONAI,EL SHADAI,HaSHEM.Terrible.
The words that proceede from your heart is from a human perspective,a stumblingblock-Genesis3:1-not from GOD's perspective- Matthew 16:23.Your testimony of GOD's Word signifies nothing and is good for nothing. In fact, what I reply here is because of the readers, not you. What matters and prevails is the Word of GOD,the Word is GOD Himself- John 1:1 combined with 1John 5:7,and around 2000 years ago He,even GOD Himself, was made flesh and introduced Himself among men by the NAME of JESUS- Matthew 1:21-understand?Isaiah had prophesied, saying:"The Lord Himself shall give you a sign;Behold,a VIRGIN shall conceive, and bear a SON,and shall call His name Immanuel-Is.7:14-(it means: GOD with us).
These Truth torment your esoteric, and kabbalistic, and spiritist spirit,GOD CURSED the Devil, the tree of good and evil, the figtree. JESUS,In His Ministry, said to the Devil:Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY Word that proceedeth out of the MOUTH of GOD- Matthew 4:4. The Word is GOD, the Word is GOD Himself, and the Word of the MOUTH of GOD is LITERALLY written in 66 books, KING JAMES VERSION is an edition of the book of the Lord, it is called Bible.
Oh no, my Lord JESUS never accused anyone, as you said, also my Lord JESUS NEVER USED the NAMES of Satan you have listed here, these are more false testimonies of you of JESUS's Person, it's the spirit of you is acusing JESUS,he is the Accuser, he has blinded your eyes, your own devilish words leave clear you know not my Lord JESUS.
If the supposed"glorious name Yahweh,as you say"is in your heart, it means the Devil is in your heart.
God the Father granted Christ all authority on heaven and earth which sets forth the ultimate example of how God worked to reward the perfect obedience of Christ. It also goes against Satan's offer to worship him to have such authority. ( Matthew 28:18; Matthew 4:9).
One may question how Christ; who Himself brought all of creation into existence would have such a destiny. ( Colossians 1:16-20). In that situation; one may say that He was the Person to do the work that the Father had planned; and His agent as it were was the Spirit of God (hovering over the waters as it states in Genesis 1:2).
We realize in this that no servant is greater than his master. ( John 15:20). We all are nothing without Him; yet He will likewise exalt the humble with positions to rule and reign with Christ in the Millennium. In some sense we can say that Christ emptied Himself so that He could be our High Priest suffering in all ways but without sin. ( Heb. 4:15). As the second Adam He was able to keep from the temptations of the devil to fall unlike Adam; as well as fulfilling the law perfectly which no man could do. ( 1 Cor. 15:45-47).
It is hard to get our mind around these facts; that He who created all things would start from conception as a helpless babe and end as a sheep to the slaughter ( Isaiah 53:7); the Lamb of God which will forever be ascribed to His Name. Of course all of us who are saved are adopted sons; ( Ephesians 1:5) part of the eternal lineage of the rightous (as contrasted with the earth dwellers in Revelation 11:10).
Christ is returning as conquering king. He alone trods the winepress ( Isaiah 63:3). He alone brings forth the TRUE one world government of peace and rules in righteousness; impartially judging as many verses in Isaiah testify. Some verses can be taken symbolically but to not take Revelation 19 literally or somehow think Christ already returned in some mystical way is heretical thinking (see 2 Tim. 2:18)
The bible states we certainly each get to choose. It's called freewill, that He gave each of us. So yes, God gives each person the chance to believe and accept Salvation! Jesus commanded the Gospel of the Kingdom to be preached throughout the world. When we hear The Gospel of Jesus Christ we get to choose! We can each choose to accept it - or reject it.
If we reject, nothing else is required for us to do, but to live our life in continual sin. If we believe and accept, then we must repent. We must then take all of the actions as commanded by Jesus/God.
Many people today that call themselves Christians, want their salvation without repenting! Matthew 4:17"From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Luke 5:32"I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
We must REPENT (stop sinning) if we want to be saved, and grafted into Christs Church (olive tree). If we expect to remain grafted into Christ's Church, each of us must REPENT and produce good fruit (good works) or we will be pruned/removed from the tree, as many of the Jews were already removed, because they did NOT believe, nor did they produce good fruit!
The bible tells us that our actions while living in this current life will determine our ultimate fate, Heaven or Hell, so its certainly OUR choice my friend.
Thank you for your good question Kr00031. I have tried to do a little research on this by examining other verses with this 'anomaly'. And though I can't be sure about it in every case, my guess is that in the KJBible, quotation marks are not used to indicate someone's speech or a quotation from a source.
So, in today's English usage, if I were to write, Jesus said, "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone...." ( Matthew 4:4), I would use quotation marks front & rear of the sentence to indicate Jesus' Words. But in the writing of the KJB, quotation apparently weren't employed but capitalizing the first letter after the speech or quotation, indicated the start of it.
You can look at the following examples to see how this works: Matthew 2:8 (Go); Matthew 2:23 (He); Matthew 3:3 (The); Matthew 3:15 (Suffer). I think you will get the idea of how the first letter of the first word is capitalized when a message is uttered or a verse is quoted.
Isaiah 19:8 The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brook shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.
Most all of Isaiah is prophecy of the Kingdom of God.
Egypt is symbolic as is Babylon in Revelation, what they have in common is the spirit of deception, which God is going to destroy.
Put the FISHERS as a prophecy of his 12 disciples and all those that are ruled by the same Spirit IN THEM as is IN YOU.
Matthew 4:19 .... I will MAKE YOU fishers of men ....
Ezekiel 32:3 ... I WILL therefore spread out MY NET over thee, with a GREAT COMPANY of many people, and THEY shall bring thee up in MY NET.
Ezekiel 47:10 And it shall COME TO PASS, that the FISHERS shall stand upon it ... they shall be a place to spread forth nets, their fish shall be according to their kind, as the fish of a great sea (of humanity), exceeding many.
This has been happening now for 2000 years.
Most of this is done after you are harvested and have been translated into the next age, and have become a chariot of fire or a locust as described in Revelation.
Revelation 9:2 And HE (Christ has the keys to death and the grave) opened the BOTTOMLESS (a grave that can never be filled with all the dead) PIT, and there AROSE a smoke (Christ and his saints) out of the pit (grave), as the smoke of a great furnace (of fire, our God is a consuming FIRE) ...
Revelation 9:3 And there came out of the SMOKE (the saints and Christ as ONE FLESH) locust on the earth; and unto them was given POWER, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them, that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; But ONLY THOSE who HAVE NOT the seal of God in their foreheads.
Revelation 9:5 And TO THEM IT WAS GIVEN that they should not kill them, but they should BE TORMENTED for five months (symbolic), and there TORMENT was as the TORMENT when a scorpion striketh a man.
What you are telling me Jesus is your minister to do the devil's dirty work to sin? God forbid. If you are saved You do not sin. What do you not understand the words " does not commit sin" and "Cannot sin?" What don't you believe? When Jesus in John 5:14 said, "Go and sin no more"
1st John 3:[8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
[9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God
If Jesus told you: "Sin no more. You would answer him by saying, "I can't."Or "I don't believe you."Or "No one is able to stop sinning except you.""???
Matthew 3: 1 At that time John the Baptist appeared, preaching in the wilderness of Judea.
2 He said,Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say,Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Your just calling Jesus a liar when you claim you can not stop sinning as sin is ungodliness it is of the devil 1st John 3:8. Do you think the grace of God came so that we can still live like bastard children of the devil and no change in our life? God forbid. No sinner can make heaven unless thry repent abd give it up.
Titus 2:11] For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
[12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
[13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
[14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Jesus never died to make a new type of sinner? Called a Christian sinner? he died so that we can be free from the devil we can be holy, rightous, santified, perfect, ready to meet him.
JESUS said for the Devil: Matthew 4:4 - Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the MOUTH of GOD.
Where is written "every Word that proceeded out of the MOUTH of GOD"?
Maatthew 11: 27 - ...no MAN knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any MAN the Father, save the Son, and he TO WHOMSOEVER the Son WILL REVEAL HIM.
1 John 5:19-20
19 And we know that we are of GOD, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
20 And we know that the Son of GOD is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true GOD, and eternal life.
John 3:3 and 5 and 17-21:
3 ... Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of GOD.
5 ... Except a MAN be born of water(of the Word of GOD) and of the Spirit(the Word is Spirit), he cannot enter into the Kingdom of GOD.
17 For GOD sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of GOD.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in GOD.
many actually stopped following Jesus that day he said here in the Gospel of John 6:48-58.
Jesus three times identifies Himself as that spiritual bread ( John 6:35, 48, 51).
And twice He emphasizes faith (a spiritual action) as the key to salvation:
"My Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life" (verse 40)
and "Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life" (verse 47).
Jesus then compares and contrasts Himself to the manna that Israel had eaten in the time of Moses: "Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die" John 6:49-50.
The words I have spoken to you-they are full of the Spirit and life" ( John 6:63). Those who misunderstood Jesus and were offended by His talk about eating His flesh and drinking His blood were stuck in a physical mindset, ignoring the things of the Spirit. They were concerned with getting another physical meal, so Jesus uses the realm of the physical to teach a vital spiritual truth.
At the Last Supper, Jesus gives a similar message.
We are to proclaim the Lord's death until he comes"
1 Corinthians 11:26.
Jesus was speaking metaphorically about His flesh and blood and hold that the bread and wine are symbolic of the spiritual bond created with Christ through faith.
Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God'" ( Matthew 4:4, quoting Deuteronomy 8:3). The implication is that the bread is God's Word and that is what sustains us. Jesus is called the Word of God who came to earth and was made flesh ( John 1:14). The Word of God is also the Bread of Life ( John 6:48).
These are but a tiny sampling of what God declares about His WORD, the BIBLE.
Psalms 78:1 Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the WORDS of my mouth.
Psalms 119:151,152 Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are TRUTH. Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the WORDS that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE.
Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my WORDS shall not pass away.
Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my WORDS in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Luke 1:1,2 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the WORD;
Luke 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the WORD of God, and keep it.
John 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the WORDS of eternal life.
Acts 19:20 So mightily grew the WORD of God and prevailed.
Acts 12:24 But the WORD of God grew and multiplied.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the WORD of God.
The prayer before picking out the Disciples who would be Apostles (the first four who were likely His first followers as quoted in Matthew 4:18-22) was going to concern the known traitor; Judas Iscariot. Psalm 41:9 being Holy Scripture was in His mind; no doubt along with other prophecies such as Zechariah 13:7 undoubtably Christ prayed ahead of time; knowing what He would have to deal with in the last days of His life. To have a known traitor there stealing money and who would lead to all the agony to come as well as dismay among Peter and all others who would run away in Gethsemene; would be something He would have to live with for the next 3 1/2 years.
As shown in the previous analysis of these verses; Jesus faced His Disciples during the Beatitudes. It is certain that He wanted them to understand from the get go the persecution they were facing; as well as demonstrating to the crowds that they would be the ones to eventually overcome; ruling and reigning with Christ ( Rev. 4:10-11 and other passages). They would also be given responsibility to continue the Great Commission even after He left this earth. Later there would be individual discipling and discussions with several Apostles who would be the prime focus of these efforts.
Gailee Question: does the Bible say that there is Woman Angels?
You are MountHoreb replying to a comment by "Gailee":
Angels are Spirits ( John 4:24) in Heaven Jesus explains at Matthew 22:29,30.
if you read about a women in heaven like Revelation 12:1,2 This is symbolic or illustrating the point revelation 1:1.
However, Angels can materialize into a human. or turn themselves into human flesh. we have an
example of the bad Angels who forsook their assigned positions in heaven to have sex with the beautiful woman
on earth. they "took wives" for themselves. according to Genesis 6 these angels are called "Sons of God" because they were created in heaven. Although Angels are either male nor female. descending to earth, angels have this ability. again these are angels who went evil or bad. who went against Jehovah ( Psalm 83:18) like Satan the serpent! Matthew 4:1-11; Ephesians
A few examples of Good Angels who had a earthly assignment: Genesis 18 and 19 Chapters.
"Three Men" are materialized good angels. in verse 19 the angels in Sodom struck the mob of boys and old men
who wanted to have sex or lie down with them. so which means these mob of males saw these angels as Males.
There is no scripture that shows that that angels ever materialized into females. for the simple fact that Adam was created first as the Male. Eve was a helper to him, created so he will not be alone. Genesis 1:26; Genesis 2:18; Genesis 5:1,2; Ephesians 5:23; 1 Timothy 2:13,14. However, women on earth are valuable to God also: Acts 2:17
so the overall point here is, No there is no woman in heaven, nor men, nor children. for they are
You are not suggesting that I do not trust God and believe His Word, are you? You already know that I read and study from the same Bible you do, and I have already stated that I am not defending the NIV (nor condemning), so as far as Daniel 3:25 (NIV) is concerned, I don't feel that I need to explain anything to you concerning that verse. However, I will say that I don't agree with it.
I would like to know why you chose the NIV specifically to go after if you believe all modern English translations are corrupt? (I have my suspicion) but would like your honest answer to that. Also, there are several other modern English translations out there, which one will you go after next? Not trying to be offensive, just curious.
If you don't mind answering why you failed to mention those NIV verses I presented to you, I would truly appreciate it.
Also, you brought up Luke 4:4 (KJB), and said that the NIV left out "but by every word of God." Have you considered the fact that Matthew 4:4 (NIV) says, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
I do agree that God said He would preserve His word forever. The book of Revelation was completed around 95 AD. Did we not have the complete inspired word of God with the completion of Revelation?
If so, at what point between 95 AD and 1611 AD was God's word no longer preserved and required a new English Bible to be written?
And the "holy men of God" that God inspired were Moses, the Prophets, the Apostles, and a few others (not the translators of the KJB).
God inspired and commissioned those holy men who gave us His inspired word. The KJV translators were commissioned by King James himself.
Psalm 91 Verse 11 of this Psalm was quoted in Matthew 4:6; which is indicative of the promises which the Son of God no doubt had being part of the eternal Godhead with the angels He created for eternal worship in heavenly places.
Looking at the preceding verses; we see promises for those who are God's children to be hidden (compare with Colossians 3:3); and we shouldn't ignore the following statement in verse 2 about those who TRUST God. We also see promises which apply in general to God's covenant people such as Deuteronomy 7:15; and fulfilled by Christ in verses such as Isaiah 53:5. Ultimately; however these promises will be fulfilled in the Millennial Kingdom as may be indicated in verse 7; and in the Tribulation for those dweiling in heaven as indicated from verse 9.
Luke 10:19 shows how Christ fulfills certain promises in freedom from Satan's grip which is similar to what it states in Psalm 91:13.
The remainder of the Psalm could indicate Christ's reward as well as our own during the Millennial period as well. There will also be natural life expectancies (see Isaiah 65:22) that are vastly extended at that time.
As we look at things today; of course we still live with all of creation groaning as it were; such as indicated in Romans 8:22. Satan himself will get his due reward; ending once and for all his usurper role as a pseudo ruler; who ultimately fulfills God's prophetic plan; as it did when he entered Judas Iscariot so that all things could be fulfilled and Christ would die for our atonement ( Heb. 9:28; also read Isaiah 53 in its entirety). We are all in perishable bodies for a brief time; but we certainly can find ways to shorten our lives due to sin adding to our miseries. For now; pestilences and other things can be held back or mitigated; but that will not be helpful during the Tribulation. At that time the 144,000 will be supernaturally protected before God brings judgments upon the earth. May we live soberly in the fear of God
The word of God is Bread and so we need daily bread to sustain our Hunger and that's by search the scriptures daily.
Before reading your bible, you need to Pray and ask God to open His word for your understanding, Wisdom comes from God and the wisdom which he gives is not like the world.
In proverbs 4:7
its written wisdom is the principal thing and in all your getting get understanding.
So, I encourage you to pray and begin with God.

The spelling of Esaias that you see in Matthew 3:3, as well as other places in the New Testament (such as Matthew 4:14, John 12:38, Romans 9:27, etc.), is because the KJV translators preferred to record Isaiah's name as it's written in Greek (since the NT was written in that language). Whereas in the Old Testament, Isaiah is written as shown, the equivalent of the Hebrew, Ysha'yah (pr. yeh-shaw-yah), which means 'God (Yahweh) is salvation'.
We have lost a Sunday school teacher in our church to tragic accident. Remember that there is no death unto those who believe that Jesus is and has conquer death! These are hard things to believe while we live in this world, we must grow through them, we will become stronger in our faith. Do not allow appearance of loss , to darken what will become ours. Eternal life with Jesus!
They are with the Jesus! Rejoice we shall all live eternally with Him where there is no more sin or death!
Note: this software did not show an "O" with the long O symbol on it as I made examples of Jo, Joel, Job, Joshua, etc... it only shows the letter J alone with the long O being deleted. Which made my post kinda confusing.
Have you noticed that the majority if not all of the ancient names of the Israelites are phrases of praise unto Jah.
His name was Jo at first... Jshua, Jel (Jo-el.. Jo-(is)-god(elohim)), Jnathan, Jb, Jnah, etc...
J morphed into Jah and Jah (Jahshua) morphed into Jeh (Jehshua) as each generation changes the language. This was due to the captivity of Israel by Babylon and other Heathen peoples. The generation of today does also. Words don't mean the same thing as they used to mean. You really look hot does not mean: that you look like your temperature has greatly risen to bring forth sweating.
The Israelites had to learn other languages of their captors. This in time changes their own language to incorporate the new language into their own.
As the good news of the Messiah (the gospel) spread quickly to other nations written in a language foreign to Israel, the name of the Messiah was changed to be more acceptable to them. The surviving testimonies of the good news named Jehshua as Isous, which later morphed into Jesus. Neither of the foreign names praised J, Jah, Jeh.
The name of Jehshua, Jahshua, Jshua was a praise to the God of Israel, but the new foreign names did not praise the most high God, J/Jah/Jeh.
John was informed by the revelation (the revealing by Jahshua to him) of the works of the deceiver he warned the disciples would come... already his name had been made void...I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and HAST NOT DENIED MY NAME.
Perfect Understanding will reveal to you that the King of Israel would NOT HAVE a foreign, Heathen name. It would be an Israelite name praisng the God of Israel.
Who will think that it doesn't matter at all to God/Jah and the Messiah what the people call him. Commandment was made to keep the people from calling him something else to make his name Useless (in vain)
Hi Michael, the Bible doesn't say we will never be sick or have hardship or suffering. It guarantees we will have them, and says we will even be persecuted for our faith. I think anyone pushing a health and wealth doctrine is pushing a lie.
James 1:12
Romans 5:3-5
Matthew 10:28 - says to not fear those who can do us harm but fear God.
It does say if you pray with faith you will basically get what you ask. I think this means you have genuine and pure faith, not praying for selfish things like a new ferrari. That is my opinion.
I have a question that confused me. I am a protestant. I have been to the church for routine for more than ten years. I saw a lot of events from the church. It is written Jesus heals all manners of sickness and disease. But I saw a sister, she was a junior school teacher. Unfortunately, she got a disease, and she was the music worship group membership. But her disease hasn't recovered. Finally, she leaves us in her fourties. So, Jesus healing us if we believe him. But can I say if the people haven't been healed them are not believe the Jesus.
Are you hungry ?Are you thirsty? I hope so , I'm starving and never feel full ! I always want more ! Throughout the old testament we are told that God will provide us with food and drink , is that really physical food and drink or is it a promise of...the Bible itself ? I'm not great at tying things together so I hope these verses are ok , they say what I want to much better than I ever could , Matthew 4:4 , Matthew 5:6 and also 15-26 , Luke 6:21-25 , John 6:35 , Isaiah 9:13-20 also 29:7-24 , all of Ch 32 , 49:5-10 , 65:11-25 , all of Ch 66. Psalm 106:15 , also 107:1-15+31-37 and all of 146 . The Bible is the LIVING WORD , it is what sustains us , feeds us and waters us as we wander in this wilderness towards our promised destination .
Adam had dominion over this earth. But he lost that authority when he sinned, which was in essence rebellion against the will of God. The sin of man cost him his dominion.
The question has always been: Who got that dominion when Adam lost it? I believe that Satan got it. He is the one who tempted Eve, and Satan is the one who rules this earth today. Remember that he came to the Lord Jesus in the wilderness and showed Him the kingdoms of this world and said, "All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me" ( Matthew 4:9). Now you will recall that the Lord Jesus said to James and John, "The places on my right and on my left hand are not mine to give" (see Matthew 20:23), but He did not say to Satan, "The kingdoms are not yours to give." Apparently they were. Satan is the ruler today of the kingdoms of this world. He took the scepter, and from that moment on God began a program whereby He is going to take over this universe again. He will do it, of course, in His own way. Hence the kingdom of heaven became the great theme of Old Testament prophecy.
If you have studied the Book of Isaiah, you know that the great pulsating thought of Isaiah, the passion of his life - even in that dark day when the Assyrian army was encamped outside Jerusalem - was the coming of the Redeemer. Isaiah looked down into the future the farthest, he saw the brightest hope, he saw a Redeemer come, he saw a King come, he saw One who is going to sit upon the throne of David and bring to this earth righteousness and peace and joy. This was the great pulsating hope of the Old Testament. Therefore, the Old Testament was a book that revealed an expectation, a great expectation, that the kingdom would come. The Old Testament made preparation for the coming King. And the King came!
In my last update; I mentioned "decisional regeneration". My final statement on that subject is that we all must truly make the "decision" to verbally and in the heart confess Christ; but we must continue believing and test ourselves to see if we are in the faith after such a commitment. ( 2 Cor. 13:5). John 3:16 as I have said before is in a tense that means a CONTINUING faith; not just a one time experience where we can dwell with those of heaven and continue to live as before; therefore still on the wide road leading to destruction. If we have decieved ourselves; of course there is some crossover with the other points I have made in regard to not taking specific sins seriously; or being a tare. In the three cases examined under point one so far the Bible is used at face value; so to speak; and the poison basically comes from within ourself. Satan is by no means excluded from this process but doesn't have to do as much as in the other two cases I am about to discuss.
Case #2 Twisting scriptures
Ah; now we are getting into the enemy's camp. Most of us probably are familiar with Christ's dialogue with Satan when being tempted in the wilderness ( Matthew 4:1-11). Here there was no issue with the LITERAL interpretation of scripture but it's application. Satan wanted worship for Himself so he first used the temptation to satisfy hunger; then that of ending suffering through self destruction and finally worship for himself. In the first two cases he used scripture as his ammo. In the last case his true intentions came out; i.e. for him to be worshipped as God. Christ did the "knockout punch" there with the command to worship only God alone. Satan didn't have to use scripture to prove his point as later verses in the N.T. indicate that he has been given temporary power over the world system and Principalities in high places ( Eph. 6:12). He also knew that Jesus wouldn't be fooled by some other "religious" writings since He was the Son of God. ( James 2:19
Matthew 6, Luke 4:40, Matthew 12:15, Luke 6:19, Psalms 139, Psalms 107:20, Matthew 15:30, Luke 9:11, Matthew 4:24, Matthew 14:14, Mark 6:13, Acts 5:6, Acts 14:9, Matthew 10:8, Mark 16:17,18, John 16:23, Luke 11:9-11, context Luke 11:2-13, James 5:13-20,
Hopefully these are helpful & encouraging & healing to you, that you likewise will help others Matthew 10:8,
First I must say that questions as such"why God kills or asks others to kill, despite "do not kill",are made by many atheists that were members of the SDA,but now turned demonic atheists.
GOD BLESs
Part 3 Trinity discussion,
Do you believe the Son is a created being?
What is the meaning of created? Does it mean something that is made out of nothing? I would have to say no, Jesus is the Son of God who was conceived in the womb of Mary, Matthew 1:20 Luke 1:35, I do not think I would say He was created.
All the works of Jesus were done by the Spirit of God, Matthew 4:16 Matthew 12:28 Acts 10:38.
If so, Jesus could not sin or be tempted, Matthew 4:1 Hebrews 4:15.
See part 4.
Read and Believe!
Here are the commandments of God we are to live by.
Deuteronomy 8:3 ..... but by every word .....
Matthew 4:4 .... but by every word .....
Proverbs 14:15 The simple believeth every word .....
Not 10 commandments, but every WORD (all his words are commandments).
God Bless you
Isaiah 19:8 The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brook shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.
Titus 2:11] For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
[12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
[13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
I have named no names and purely made a statement.
I am under the impression God is a live and his Son Jesus is still on earth.
Matthew 4:4 | Read whole chapter
But he answered, and said, It is written, Man shall not liue by bread alone, but by euery word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Part 2.
This reminds me of John 6:60 when
many actually stopped following Jesus that day he said here in the Gospel of John 6:48-58.
God bless.
Luke 1:1,2 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the WORD;
However, women on earth are valuable to God also: Acts 2:17
so the overall point here is, No there is no woman in heaven, nor men, nor children. for they are
all angels in heaven as JESUS SAID.
I HOPE These scriptures help. Thanks.
Blessings to you also, Jimbob!

So, I encourage you to pray and begin with God.
( Matthew 4:3-4, KJV)
3.And when the tempter came to him, he said, if thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

James 1:12
Romans 5:3-5
Matthew 10:28 - says to not fear those who can do us harm but fear God.
It does say if you pray with faith you will basically get what you ask. I think this means you have genuine and pure faith, not praying for selfish things like a new ferrari. That is my opinion.
God bless
Part 5.

Hopefully these are helpful & encouraging & healing to you, that you likewise will help others Matthew 10:8,
