    Hi Bro Alex,

Thanks for your input. We agree on some, and not on others. I pray God's Spirit will help to guide us both, in growth, toward the correct understanding of the scriptures.

Yes, we are under God's New Covenant, please notice; God said in "His New Covenant" he will write His Laws into our Hearts and into our Minds. The same Laws/10 Commandments that were written in stone. These are God's MORAL Laws, not to be confused with the old testament ceremonial laws.

    Hebrews 8:10

"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:"

God's 10 Commandments will last forever, or until heaven and earth no longer exist! Don't take my word, study the scripture, here is God telling us this very plainly:

    Matthew 5:18

"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

Jesus is telling us that His MORAL LAWS will never to go away until His Kingdom is fulfilled. Meaning, all prophesies are completed. Including the end times per His revealings in the book of Revelations, and until - finally His Kingdom is in place.

Happy Sabbath Day and God Bless You!

    Hey SolaScrip,

Is there scripture outside Revelation that confirms an exact 1000 years? The answer is no. Are there false teachers out there? The answer is yes, there are many, 1 John 4:1. Are there scriptures that say the Son of God will reign on earth? The answer is yes. Psalm 2:6-9 Psalm 22:27-31 Isaiah 2:1-4 Isaiah 9:6-7 Isaiah 24:21-23 Jeremiah 23:5 Ezekiel 20:33-44 Ezekiel 39:21-29 Zechariah 2:10-13 Zechariah 8:2-3 Zechariah 14:1-9 Matthew 19:28 Revelation 11:15 Revelation 20:4 and more.

Is there any scripture that says people will go to or reign in heaven? The answer is no. Are there scriptures that say the elect will reign with Jesus on earth? The answer is yes. Daniel 7:27 2 Timothy 2:11-13 Revelation 5:10. Are there scriptures that describe how things change after Jesus returns? The answer is yes. Zechariah 8:4 Isaiah 11 Isaiah 60:15 Isaiah 65:18-25. These people will be alive on the second coming of Jesus, they will have the opportunity to live longer if they choose to obey God.

Are there things that have not been revealed to us? The answer is, yes? Jesus will return and set up the kingdom here on earth and He will put all enemies under His feet, 1 Corinthians 15:25. Will death still be during the time Jesus is ruling? The answer is yes. The purpose is to fulfill the rest of the scriptures with Jesus, Israel, the Gentiles, and creation that has not yet been fulfilled.

The only scripture that gives us 1000 years is Revelation, but many scriptures tell us the kingdom will be set up on earth. We have these, Numbers 14:21 Psalms 115:16 Micah 4:1-3 Matthew 5:5 Matthew 6:10. Not to debate, with the time it will take I cannot say the 1000 years are false.

    God bless,

I ask you to pray & I will also pray for you, for protection & clarity & discernment in these matters.

I had a friend years ago that had said 'her mother would say something to people she didn't like about fire to cause them fear' a while after that me & that dearly loved friend had a deep discussion about a medical targeted abortion. I pleaded with her not to be afraid but trust GOD, I had told her how so many things that were wonderful about her that would be in that child. She had already had the abortion. Sometime around that she would say "she had dreams about me & house fires, dangerous & was concerned for my family " after saying that to me multiple times, then no longer speaking to me. It literally bothered me over the years, causing unwelcome concerns. Then I would remember what she previously disclosed & GOD's power & protection. Matthew 5:44,

Peoples words spoken over someone can be curses or blessings but GOD says Edify one another & not to curse. Here are some scriptures: 1 Thessalonians 5:8-11, Romans 14:19, warning, Psalms 62:4, Psalms 109:28,

Remember the promises spoken over us by GOD. : Genesis 12:3, Numbers 22:12, Deuteronomy 11, Nehemiah 13:12, Proverbs 3:33,

    Proverbs 26:2,

Hopefully this helps remember: John 16:13,

    Dennis,

The answer is that there is no difference between kingdom of heaven and kingdom of God. Matthew used the term "kingdom of heaven" 32 times. Nobody else used it. Please keep in mind that Matthew's gospel was written to the Jews. This is important in understanding why Matthew would use the term kingdom of heaven.

The reason Matthew used kingdom of heaven was because the Jews don't say the name "God." So instead of "Kingdom of God" they say "Kingdom of Heaven." And when the Jews say Heaven it is capitalized. Or, they will say the "Kingdom of The Name," (HA SHEM). God is "The Name." But they will not say the word God.

So, "Kingdom of Heaven" and "Kingdom of God" are the same phrases. One phrase is Gentile and one phrase is Jewish. I hope this answers the question.

    Hi Georgette.

I agree with Brother Adam and like to add what the Lord said in Matthew 5:28. But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

This covers a lot of area, not just premarital sex but any sexual lust that is stored in the heart whether married or single. This is and always was reserved for marriage.

I would take a close look at the link Adam shared and take it very serious because this is for us today.

Just my suggestion but begin with the New Testament starting with Matthew to Revelation. Take your time and sometimes re-read a chapter as sometimes it becomes clearer when you read it the second time.

    Matthew 5:3-18, John 1:1-14, John 14:6, Galatians 5:22-23

Revelations 11:4 speaks of two witnesses the 2 olive trees and 2 candlesticks. Zechariah 4:1-14 lets you know a olive tree is Gods people Romans 11:13:24 tells you that the original olive tree is Israel the wild olive tree is the gentiles. They both have to be graphed into the root. A candlestick is a church look at Revelations 1:20. These two groups will receive a power like never before to preach the truth to the whole world during the tribulation. They will have a warrior type power like Moses or Elijah. They will be the enemy of this world but for the first 3.5 years nobody will be able to stop them. Then they will be killed and the world will be happy but then they live again in front of people. God proves once again that he is the only God. Not everybody that says I believe will enter the kingdom of heaven. Some of these people God will say part from me I never knew you. If you read revelations chapters 2 and 3 you will see that there were and are two types of churches that God approves, the other 5 he does not.

Hi Alex N; So our theology does not agree, OK, but at least we agree in the kingdom, I see it as having three names; of heaven, of God, of Christ. Three manifestations 1. inwardly 2. outwardly as governments 3. New Jerusalem Finally three dispensations, #1 from the time Christ died until he the midnight hour #2 From the midnight hour, until the end of the millennium. #3 From the end of the millennium, into eternity. Yet you see the one kingdom as only coming at his second coming, also you mention Israel, as though they had something to do with the kingdom of God, but this is not so, the kingdom was taken from them in parables and given to a nation that would bring forth the fruits thereof. I struggle with your thought that we as Christians must bring forth the Holy Ghost as the man child, as I have informed you he is not the man child, the overcomer as a Christian is the man child, just compare Rev. 12:5-6 to Rev. 2:26-27 There you discover the one who rules the nations with the rod of iron are Christians who overcame, as I said earlier they are called the sons of God, being male in gender and referred unto as the man child. Once again; you refer unto the baptism of the Holy Ghost, which is a conditional promise according to John 7:37-39 for anyone who thirsts, they must go to Christ and drink, three conditions are laid upon Christians seeking this baptism, first the thirst, second coming to Christ and third drinking, although not necessarily in that order. Yet you are right about the bible stating there is only one kingdom, but this has three names, three manifestations and three dispensations, concerning that one kingdom. Please remember, the millennial kingdom and the New Jerusalem kingdom are offered unto all Christians, but not all Christians will inherit them, as you must have faith with works, meeting the conditions specified by the Lord Jesus and the apostles, to be able to enter the second and third dispensation of the kingdom.

Nothin but Wars and senceless killings...I am the light of the world But the Nite comes when NO MAN can work....The last 2000 yrs have been nothin but darkness...I am the light of the world but the nite comes when no man can Work...Do you not realise that 6.5 Million Jews died in this WW 2....Simply b/c we are in that time of darkess Jesus warns us about....As Isaiah said darkness will cover the earth and gross darkness the PPL ...We see this every day....Even the big mega Church are all desolate.....As Jesus said the day of the LORD WILL COME TILL THERE 1ST COME A GREAT FALLING AWAY AND THAT MAN OF SIN BE REVEALED.....Dr Lee remember there was no good WINE till the 3 rd day.....They ran outta of wine at the 1 st day wedding...Pentacost......And the last 2 days 2000 yrs have been a time of desolation WHEN no man CAN WORK.....But we hope for the best WINE to day.

In this Millenium.....The ppl of Israel did not become a nation Again till 1948...May 14 th.....But there were 2000 yrs of desolation.....Remember Hosea said after 2 days will he raise us up and on the 3 rd will he revive us.....But there has to be a 2000 yr period of 2 days in the sight of God..... Hosea 6 : 2 .....If ya read Matthew 13 we see that the parable of the Sower and his precious seed is the only way the Kingdom can ONLY come is by sowing that good seed is mans hearts....Thats ye always refers to himself as the SON OF MAN....Simply b/c mankind is gona have a Baby,....Which is the H.G that Child of PROMISE.....Thats y he is saying behold i send the Promise of my Father upon you which was baptism of the H.G. Hi Alex N; glad to hear from you again, this subject is one of great depth concerning the kingdom, perhaps I understand this doctrine differently than you do as the first dispensation and manifestation of the kingdom has happened already. When we were born again we enter the kingdom John 3:5 The Apostle Paul taught we were translated from darkness into the kingdom of Christ, which I believe refers unto our spirit alone in Colossians 1:13 Again we already received the kingdom in Hebrews 12:28 These truths cannot be denied, Yet we look forward to the millennial kingdom of God as in Revelation 20:4 knowing this kingdom of Christ will come as you mentioned in Revelation 12:10 which indicates the middle of the seven year tribulation. Now we differ as I believe the man child are the sons of God, Christians who are mature, being led by the Holy Ghost, as in Romans 8:14 I cannot accept the man child to be the Holy Ghost, for the man child is raptured in Rev. 12:5-6 in the middle of the tribulation, yet the bible affirms constantly the Holy Ghost is here on earth working in the 144,000 the two witnesses, and all children of God during the tribulation, and such like. I do not interpret the woman as humanity, like you do, as the woman to me is the church of Jesus Christ as in Rev. 12:17 she has the testimony of Christ and keeps commandments, Israel does not have these things, and the world does not have these things either, only the church can have these things. Remember the woman is clothed with the sun, a metaphor for the gospel, the moon under her feet, meaning to have power over Satan and all fallen angels, which only the church has in the name of Jesus Christ. You are right to call the city New Jerusalem the kingdom of heaven, as this kingdom of God comes after the millennial kingdom of Christ, yet it is the final manifestation of the kingdom of heaven. I will ask therefore, have you taken into account, not all Christians will make it into the kingdom. Mat.7:21

Hi Alex N. In your response to conditional promises, you wrote about the kingdom of God, as though all Christians already have this in them, I should clarify this statement therefore to you, the first dispensation of the kingdom of heaven is inwardly, it lasts for 2,000 years, from the time the Lord Jesus died until he returns, according to the Lord Jesus in Luke 17:20-21 all Christians have the kingdom of God in their heart, this is also taught in John 3:5, all Christians enter the kingdom of God when they are born again, The Apostle Paul affirms this truth in Colossians 1:13, however, this is not what I was speaking about in conditional promises, I spoke about the millennial kingdom of God, which has not happened yet, no Christian has entered this yet, all scriptures place conditions upon entering that kingdom of God. I will say this, we made it into the first dispensation of the kingdom by faith without works, but to make it into the millennial kingdom, it is by faith with works. Please read Matthew 7:21 only if a Christian does the will of God can he make it in, this is a condition attached to making it in the kingdom. Read Matthew 25:14-30 unless you used your talents you cannot make it into the joy of the Lord, being the millennial kingdom, again a conditional promise to get it, or read Acts 14:22 as we must suffer much tribulation in order to make it into the kingdom, another conditional attached to making it into the millennial kingdom of heaven. Again read the warnings of why Christians will not make it into that millennial kingdom in 1 Cor. 6:9-10 & Galatians 5:19-21 & Ephesians 5:3-5 as a result of living a godless lifestyle, you lose your inheritance of entering into the millennial kingdom of God, in order to rule and reign for a thousand years. As concerning your topic of the man child teaching us all things, that prophecy is for the coming of Elijah in Malachi 4:5-6 it is not the ministry of the man child. I hope this explains conditional promises.

Hiya Dr. Lyle Lee....But there is only 1 way we can Plz God and thats by Faith....and he is the Author and the Finisher of our Faith....From Gen to Rev. there is only 1 way to plz God...By Faith...And Don't Worry about the KiNGDOM, As Jesus says the KiNGDOM is gonna be with in you.....Not amonst you But with in you....As the hope of glory is Christ in you....From that Good seed the New Covenant the words of the Book in the Fathers right hand.....He dwelest with you but he shall be with in you by Faith as Faith is a spritual pregnancy....Thus there is a new birth in this New Covenant a lil Child. Which is the H.G. the Child of Promise....Plz don't forget she brought forth a man Child that is gonna lead us into AL TRUTH and Rule all Nations.

My opinion is that its acceptable and that you are being obedient even if you don't have the privilege of being in the presence of other believers. It's certainly better to take in remembrance in solitude than to not take it at all. I also believe praying, worship, and other actions are the similar, where you can certainly do this when alone. I believe the Christian life is 24/7 and not just when someone enters a random building they call a church or is within a certain physical proximity to a believer.

While Jesus was with his disciples at the time of communion, He didn't state any requirements about people being present. 1 Corinthians 11:28 indicates that an individual reflection is needed. It doesn't suggest a group reflection was required. Jesus sometimes fled to be by himself to pray. Matthew 6:3 says to help people in secret, not boasting, or virtue signaling how good you are, as this states. Apparently this must be balanced with letting your light shine as Matthew 5:16 says and maybe the heart and motive plays a role.

Also, people can feel community at home alone, or sometimes feel even more alone in the presence of others. What I mean is the perception of community does not always reflect a physical circumstance. For example, we are on a website with other believers right now, but maybe most people are alone in a room. Does that mean it doesn't count as community? Some are disabled and can't get to a physical church, but watch services online, does that mean they're not in community? Some may travel long distances to visit a large church, but feel lost in the crowd and may not talk to anyone the entire time, does that mean the person was in community of believers? Things to consider.

I would like to comment on versus 3 and down, in this chapter the Lord Jesus Christ speaks of many conditional promises, while this goes unnoticed by many Christians, we should take this thought seriously as it will ultimately bring greater blessings into our life, which we do not posses right now. If we want to enter the millennial kingdom of heaven, we first must learn we can only do so by meeting the conditions to enter that kingdom, I have thought personally that the twelve gates into the city New Jerusalem are twelve different conditional promises being met. Here the Lord Jesus speaks of one way into the kingdom of heaven in verse 3, by becoming poor in spirit. This word carries with it the understanding of being humble and also one that keeps commandments, this therefore is the condition that a Christian must have in their lives in order to enter the millennial kingdom and the final kingdom after the millennium. Another way to enter the millennial kingdom of heaven, is to be persecuted for righteousness sake, as in verse 10, this generally happens when Christians are out witnessing, preaching against sin, and lifting up righteousness, yet this too is another guarantee of entering the millennial kingdom of God. As we continue to study this chapter we soon discover there are conditions attached to the blessings that Christ speaks about, therefore, if we try to obtain the blessing without meeting the condition, we fail, and the blessing remains in the bible instead of coming into our lives. But if I would meet the condition, than the blessing can come out of the bible into my life, now or in the future as well. The bible is filled with hundreds of conditional promises, we Christians ew need to become awake on this subject, for the purpose of being far more blessed than we are today. Knowing, there is no other way to obtain these blessings, we must strive to pursue them diligently, that we might obtain.

    Dr. Lyle Lee,

You didn't address me personally, but your positions ignore much scripture. Jesus didn't come to destroy the law (10 commandments) he came to die for our sins, provide us the means through Him to receive forgiveness for our sins, and teach us how to live and please God, and provide for us a way to achieve salvation if we listen and believe in HIS GOSPEL!

    Matthew 5:17-19

17- Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Heaven and earth have NOT passed. Listen close to Jesus:

18- Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

You may want to reconsider following God's commandments.

When asked; Jesus stated the two most important commandments: To love God, and to love our neighbor's. He also stated in the next verse: Matthew 22:40 "On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

Jesus said that all the of law hang on those 2 greatest commandments. The commandments are still in affect - until the End of Time!

God did promise us a new covenant. Hebrews 8:10 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:" He will put His Laws in our minds - not do away with them!

Jesus tells us: John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments." Jesus also tells us 45 to 50 years after his death - in Revelation 22:14 to keep the commandments if we want to enter into Heaven. This is VERY STRONG scripture to ignore.

    Read and Believe!

Hi Rod; When speaking about the law being destroyed, I am talking about the Old Testament, which is also called the Mosaic Law. It was this law that was destroyed by the Lord Jesus Christ on Calvary according to the wisdom of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 2:14-16 and Colossians 2:14-15 Knowing as Christians if we obey one of those laws we are cursed to obey them all. Galatians 3:10 which is a quotation from Deut. 27:26 Now in your argument you thought I was speaking about the Ten Commandments in stone according to Matthew 5:17-18 This is referred unto in scripture as the old covenant, as in Deut. 5:2-3 and Hebrews 9:4 These are two different laws, the one O.T. is the law of Moses, while the other one, old covenant, is the Law of the Lord, or Law of God, or moral law. These are not the same, although they share the same name as the word law, but have two distinct different meanings. While the Old testament was created by angels, as in Acts 7:53 and Galatians 3:19 knowing the word disposition and ordained share a similar meaning, to set in order or create, yet the Ten Commandments in stone, was written by the finger of God. Now this law had an expiry date, Christ did not come to destroy this law, but to fulfil this law, but once it was fulfilled it was then dead, as In Matthew 5:18 - Luke 16:16 - Romans 7:6-7 If you read carefully those scriptures I have mentioned, and need be, pray over them, you should come to the understanding of the Apostle Paul on this matter as he fought against obeying these two things in many of his epistles, as he was against Christians obeying the Old Testament and the old covenant. Because you mentioned the least commandments in Matthew 5:19 I would like to say, these twelve hundred commandments found in the gospels and epistles, are all to be considered the least commandments, while only the two greatest commandments on how to love God, and how to love your neighbor need interpretation by these least commandments of how this is done
  • Dr. Lyle Lee - In Reply on Psalms 110 - 2 years ago
Hi Chris; Whenever I refer unto the Old Testament I also call it the law of Moses, because he was the mediator between God and Israel, however; the old covenant simple means the Ten Commandments in stone as in Deuteronomy 5:2-3 & Hebrews 9:4 - Jer. 31:31-34 and Hebrews 8:6-7 Genesis holds three covenants created before the Old Testament, Adam, Noah and Abraham all received a covenant, which was not the Old Testament. Then the angels created the Old Testament, Acts 7:53 & Galatians 3:19 During that dispensation, about 1,600 years or so, God gave the old covenant (Ten Commandments in stone) and the Davidical covenant, howbeit, neither of these were the Old Testament. It is generally speculated that the Old Testament has 613 laws, actually all of which should be in the book of Leviticus, meaning the O.T. specifically is only Leviticus, all other books before the New Testament are not the Old Testament, they are written during that dispensation, although some of them, like Exodus, numbers and Deuteronomy have some of the O.T. written within it. Therefore; you cannot put the four gospels in the Old Testament, as they do not contain any Old Testament laws, neither do they contain obedience to the old covenant, meaning the Ten Commandments in stone. The old covenant was magnified by the Lord Jesus Christ Isaiah 42:21 making it spiritual, harder to obey, and was written in the heart of all Christians Jer. 31:31-34 - Hebrews 8:6-13 & James 1:21 This n.c. sets us free from the o.c. as in Romans 8 for the law of life in Christ Jesus, has made me free from the law of sin and death. It should be noted that the Old Testament was destroyed by the death of Christ on Calvary as in Ephesians 2:14-16 and Colossians 2:14-15 Knowing if we obey one commandment from that law we are cursed according to Gal. 3:10 and Deut. 27:26 Yet the old covenant was magnified, not destroyed, but fulfilled as in Matthew 5:17-18 although it had an expiry date, as in Luke 16:16 I hope this is clear.
  • Rod - In Reply on Psalms 110 - 2 years ago
Dr. Lee, According to scripture Jesus came to fulfill, not destroy, and I believe scripture to be correct.

Matthew 5:17-48 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil." "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

according to scripture, through His death and resurrection, the only thing he destroyed is the devil,

Hebrews 2:14 "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;"

The Lord Jesus said he did not come to destroy the Law of God, meaning the Ten Commandments in stone, rather he taught he came to fulfill that law, knowing it would expire as soon as he fulfilled it. :18 Apparently by the time that John the Baptist started his ministry, the Lord Jesus Christ had fulfilled the law, therefore it was now expired. Luke 16:16 According to the Apostle Paul, Christians have died unto that Law of God, Romans 7:4 knowing all Christians are delivered from the Ten Commandments in stone. Romans 7:6-7 that being dead to us. Then does the Lord Jesus speak of the least commandments in :19 When reading Mark 12:29-31 the Lord Jesus calls the Ten Commandments written the the heart, the greatest commandments, therefore, all other commandments found in the New Testament are the least commandments. I have studied the entire New Testament and discovered about twelve hundred commandments were given in seventeen different categories. All of these commandments are known as the least commandments. For Christians to become great in the kingdom of God today, they must practice the least commandments and teach others the least commandments also, as these two things are required in conditional promises, if someone desires to become great in God's kingdom.

    Hi Rick Mentzer;

After reading your comment I see you are confusing the Old Testament with the old covenant, these are not the same thing, the old covenant is the Ten Commandments in stone, the Lord Jesus fulfilled it, then he took it away as it had an expiry date Matthew 5:18, it would only last until he fulfilled it. Christ did fulfill it by the time of John the Baptist, therefore he gave the expiry date again Luke 16:16 But when we speak about the Old Testament it was destroyed on the cross, being nailed to the cross and abolished Ephesians 2:14-16 and Colossians 2:14-15 not the old English word abolished means to destroy.
