Alex, you err, "as all men will give birth to Christ", not ALL," Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:21,22,23

This is a detail of err in your teaching, which is heretical in total.

Grace is never servient to a formula. Mishael, A subtile twist of the parable of the sower, and you put forth the lie of salvation by works.

In context, the sweetest thing heard by BI was written previously by KingsleyJim.

The preparation of the soil for the seed was not gentle drops of kindness, but instead the turmoil of turning by the plow. In plain words, God only, prepares souls for the word/seed to flourish, not a plan by other people, saved or otherwise. The plowing is sometimes where the shallows are revealed, and also where nearby everpresent thorns take root. The over abundance of seed/word is evident and no "good ground" is missed. Despite the fowls, enough seed is fruitful, and thus harvested.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:22&23 Salvation by good works is iniquity.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. Psalm 20:7 To remember, we must first know God's name/character, and recognize his sovereignty in salvation, specifically ours, and also towards others. Believers serve God, only because he first saved us, not because we "deserve". But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. Romans 5:20 The seed/word of God and grace, the inexhaustable expressions of God. Grace is never servient to a formula.

    Matt 7:21-29

Keep in mind that God only cares about what's truly and sincerely in our hearts. He doesn't care about what words we say. There is no "magic phrase". We can say "Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus" all day long - If we don't believe in our heart, God doesn't care about it. He doesn't hear it.

Today status and serving seems to be the biggest focus amongst most church goers, now before we proceed, i go to church and love it, and i serve. but so do people in cult religions, we tend to try to teach discipleship, disciple means to follow some ones teachings, we are supposed to follow Jesus teachings, you cant do that with out the holy spirit which equipts us with the fruit of the spirit. Jesus apostles commanded to go out and preach to the world but to WAIT on the HOLY SPIRIT! we are identified as his disciples by the love we show one another read john 13:34-35. study all of john ch 13, you see the washing of the, you see a lesson in restoring and humility. the Jews religion was services which was a outwardly action, Christ in you is an inwardly action reflecting outwardly, look what Jesus tells the Pharisees in Mathews 23:25-26.. Woe unto you Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. today we compromise the truth, neglect the spirit, separate ourselves by pride, try to grow the church in volume apart from the gathering of the Holyspirit. the opposite of the way the church started in Acts 2:46-47. Lets pray we LOVE ONEANOTHER.

The love of many shall wax cold. and to suffer so many worldly traits to creep in the church, like pride, hautyness, no love for the brothern. taking on the world affairs and draging them in to the church. loving the nation more than the brothern. we supposed to be a light for the world not its ally.

For those interested in how all the animals were brought to the region of the Ark:

You can study the weighty subject/science of Continental Drift theory or Pangea. See the maps, etc.

Or like me you can simply have faith that when the Godhead speaks; necessary changes happen.

My evangelist heart always wonders what does this have to do with us being born again into Jesus Christ?

Not only are we going with Jesus to heaven, but we now have The Mind of Christ: to understand mysteries of heaven and earth.

BUT first we must be born again and receive the Holy Spirits Baptism. He is the Spirit of Jesus Christ: the Word of God. He Teaches Us about Jesus; He opens up the mysteries as we are able to receive it. The more you know about Him, the more you will be able to understand His purpose and His work in the Believers.

Our total reliance on Him, determines how much Rhema he opens up to us.

We have to submit to being milk fed babies in the Word as our Faith and Obedience to the Word causes a deep inner hunger for the MEAT of the Word. God uses "food" to grow us up. We are to be Followers of Jesus in our walk with God.

The Holy Spirits ministry is to oversee our growth as Christians. HE IS OUR TEACHER.

You're going to have to talk to Him, and then listen for his reply. If your home life is noisy and filled with interferences, your ability to hear the Holy Spirit is diminished. You have to work that part out.

Eating the Meat of the Word will change you! It is full of wonder. Your spirit is enlarged to receive more. Desire the pure milk, but study and let your prayer life (communication) to and from God, grow. Your faith will be huge.

Our model to pattern by should always be Jesus. His mercy and grace towards people teaches us how to dial down our personalities somewhat; and dial UP our faith in Him. If we eat the fruit and throw away the seeds in the trash; how can anyone be saved? The seed is the scripture you store in your heart

The Democrats have made it illegal to sing in church.

Illegal to have a full church.

Illegal to be caught without a face mask in church. Huge fines on that.

If people can't go to church when they want to, it will cause a falling away.

There is church on FM radio 24 hours a day, plus some AM stations; Church on YouTube, Christian based movies on YouTube.

Drop Netflix and pick up PUREFLIX: all Christian based movies and documentaries; plus children's programs.

Stop paying high prices for satans networks.

As the Christian group, Stryper, once sang: TO HELL WITH THE DEVIL. I like that song so sue me.

Find one that rhymes with corrupted Democrats. In Albuquerque they made a drive to work song off the music of the Bangles; from their walk like an Egyptian song. It was called, "Drive Like An Albuquerquian". It was hilarious. Figure out how to mock the Democrats that want to tax us into debtors prison....in America?!?

I'm not loving it at all.

People click on that link out on the red link page and follow How To Become A Christian.

Everything you need to know is on that link.

    The most important things.

Ask to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Be brave and ask the Holy Spirit to take over your education in the most important things of God! Who is Jesus in your new life? How to pray to God? How to have faith he hears your prayer?

How to forgive people whose guts you hate? How to forgive ourselves? Time is running out to get our business straight with God.

Let's grow up in Jesus. He is greater and mightier than anything we did with the devil.

New day! New man/woman of God. Brand new life that is now hid in Christ Jesus for eternity. Encourage yourself with the power of the Holy Spirit.

    Be back later, Mishael

I was thinking about this just before I

    Read your response ,

The modern age of science is contrary often to faith , yet has no answers to the big issues unless you believe a theory .

It's says that many will say where is the promise of his coming and turn away from truth .seems all religions will pave the way for Antichrist and not be able to resist his outrageous claims . Also the Antichrist will exalt himself above all that is called God and not find much resistance enough to over throw him , but the Lord will do that himself ! :)
  • Chris - In Reply on Matthew 7 - 4 years ago
I believe you're correct in saying, "it (falling away) seems to be accelerating". As we move closer to the end of days & of the revelation of the Anti-Christ, what always inflicted the Church in its beginnings will continue & become more evident & rampant towards the end. There is much syncretism going on at present, with religions trying their utmost to find common ground & common faith, even to the disregarding of vital & precious doctrines, & diluting the power of the Cross.

So I believe that 'falling away' is not just an individual matter about a person turning aside from Christ, that it is, rather that the Church (if indeed they ever held onto the Truth), has wilfully lost its focus & beliefs for the cause of being accepted by all & to have peace & unity with all religions & peoples. Jesus said, "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." ( Matthew 10:34). If that were to happen within one's household as Jesus said, how much more shall the sword of Truth be wielded upon those who despise the Truth & make the Cross of no effect & a lie. The Gospel will always cut to the heart & expose wickedness. If it were ever to be used to join all men together in harmony, then it would have been given out in error & in the end, both the 'preacher of this nonsense' & the hearer of those 'gracious words', will both be damned.
  • Beau - In Reply on Matthew 7 - 4 years ago
With your explanation it would tend me to believe this falling away happened over a very long period of time , perversion of the truth . I can see that happening . So then there would be virtually no true Christians left , with the exception of a few , as in Noah's time only 8 people and that was just 1 family actually was faithful in Gods eyes . Noah found grace .

Or the falling away could be a dramatic event or series of them in a short time to cause a notable falling away . One thing that seems obvious to me is it seems to be accelerating , but also many are noticing it as well . i personally think the Antichrist and his arrival are not all that soon , but I can see things developing, I read in Daniel that when sin reaches its full then he appears , so the falling away will be very much complete. We have lots to be thankful for still .

God is faithful to all generations.

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition", 2 Thessalonians 2:3.

The answer might sound somewhat glib, but it is all to do with Satan, the enemy of our souls & hater of God & all goodness. The Apostle Paul's reference to it specifically refers to a noticeable period of time where, from within the Church, there will be those (maybe, many) who either turn their backs to Christ & His Gospel of Salvation or introduce false teaching that dilutes the truth & power of God's Word.

Such apostasy from the teachings of Christ was evident from the early Church as Satan intruded into her midst, with those coming in having special wisdom, but actually were proponents of heresy, lies & deceit, bringing many into spiritual disrepair. Satan's tool was (& is) to give the Christian a sense of his own worth, his own knowledge & wisdom, his own power to control, that ultimately removes the believers' understanding of his position in Christ & utter dependency upon Him. Generally, such 'new' thoughts are commonly referred to as 'Gnostiscm' with its branch, 'Docetism', which has played havoc with the Church then as it does now. This is a huge subject, which you might be better served to study online, which essentially denies or dilutes everything that Christ & the apostles have taught, placing man on a higher plane than should be afforded him.

The Apostle John dealt with this in his First Epistle & so this letter becomes particularly meaningful to the reader, if one understands the devilish teaching of the Gnostics. And of course, we have the many 'Christian' religious offshoots, cults, sects, etc. that also introduce teaching foreign to the proper understanding of God's Word, bending it to suit their belief system.

Before that day of Christ's Return, we are warned to be aware of this increasing corruption in the Church & revelation of the Anti-Christ.

  • Adam - In Reply on Isaiah 51:4 - 4 years ago
Dear Bendito, please be respectful to others who interpret scripture different than you. You projected an assumption on someone you don't know by claiming that person has a 'low opinion' of Jesus. That's false and not very nice to say that to a Christian.

People could use the same logical fallacy against such an argument. For example: Matthew 7:21 clearly says not everyone who claims they are a follower of Jesus (a Christian) will enter heaven. So, for one who doesn't believe this verse, another could possibly assume such a person is calling Jesus a liar. That would probably seem unfair, wouldn't it?

There's many other places where Jesus warns Christians to obey and avoid sin. Some find this quite inconvenient and are quite motivated to make the verses say and mean something else. Why not dig deeper in the Bible and pray to God for understanding. God bless.

"If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha," 1 Corinthians 16:22 . Why these two words, one Greek and the other Syriac, were not translated, is not obvious. They are the words with which the Jews began their greater excommunication, whereby they not only excluded sinners from their society, but delivered them up to the divine cherem, or anathema, that is, to misery in this life, and perdition in the life to come. "Let him be Anathema" is, "Let him be accursed." Maranatha signifies, "The Lord cometh," or, "will come;" that is, to take vengeance. See ACCURSED .

PRAY AT YOUR CHURCH offices with someone, to receive the Holy Spirit; in a corporate kind of setting. Call & make an appointment.

The Holy Spirit HELPS us to understand spiritual truth. A deaf and dumb spirit (demon) or a hindering demon may be afflicting you. They come in through "doors" we ignore.

If anything occult in nature or questionable reside within your possessions, it gives them permission. Ask the Holy Spirit to Go through all your possessions with you. If He cringes, destroy it and get rid of it. Any books on ungodly supernatural phenomena, destroy utterly. zodiac jewelry too. Do not pawn or sell.

    Matthew 12

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

44 Then he saith, I will return into my house (you) from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it (you) empty, swept, and garnished.

45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last [state] of that man/woman/child, is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

GARNISHED means actively, regularly, being filled up with the Word of God: the Bible. Maintaining close, daily contact with The Holy Spirit, through prayer and praise. Empty means you need to fill up on more scripture. Swept, means there may be dust curls of forgotten idols? Go thru kids things too.

Demons produce "fruit" that reveals their names: depression, fear, torments, unclean, religious. They cannot cross the Blood of Jesus. Plead the Blood and ask God to send angels to guard the 4 corners of your home. Thank Him. You will soon be aware of peace in your home. Again, garnish your spirit. Fill it up on the power of Jesus and his Bible.

Demons are brain damaged and keep hoping for different results. Remind them they are going to hell.

You receive not, because you ask not.

7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Keep asking him He will answer according to His will. His promises is yes and amen.

    17Pray without ceasing.

Never stop praying until you get what you want.

Sometimes I wonder if those asking questions are forgetting that the Holy Spirit is the TEACHER of all born again people. You are to cross check everything with Holy Spirit. Learn how to discern Fruit. Bad fruit is stinking doctrine. Be strong enough to say: you are wrong.

Matthew 7:16 - Ye shall know them by their FRUITS. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

    2 Timothy 4:3

For the TIME WILL COME when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own LUSTS shall they (you) heap to themselves teachers: having itching ears.

    Hebrews 5:12

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

    2 Peter 2:1

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

    Titus 2:3

    The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

2 Timothy 2:15 - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Romans 16:17-18 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them WHICH CAUSE divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and AVOID them.

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ

    Galatians 5:22-23

But the FRUIT of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

And again, Luke 10:16 "He that HEARETH YOU HEARETH ME; and HE THAT DESPISETH YOU DESPISETH ME; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me."

What about witnessing to our family members? Family are perhaps the hardest people to preach to. Because they know us. "Oh that's just Joshua, I've known him since I was a kid. He used to pull my hair! What does he know?"

It's as Jesus said, "No prophet is accepted in his own country." Or by their own family! God tells us this: "And of some HAVE COMPASSION, MAKING A DISTINCTION: And others SAVE WITH FEAR, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh." Jude 22-23

But God even gave us the example of our own wives/husbands if they reject and leave us BECAUSE of the Gospel:

1 Corinthians 7:15 'But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace. 16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?'

If an unbelieving husband or wife leaves us, we are not under bondage to go after them. If we are not REQUIRED to go after our own spouses, why would we go after the dogs/swine? Recall again Matthew 7:6.
  • Joshua on Matthew 7:6 - 4 years ago
Our duty as Jesus Christ's servants is to preach His Gospel. Can we make judgments about anyone BEFORE we tell them the Gospel? I don't think so. However, once we have preached to someone, and they react to the news of Christ as a dog/swine(they reject it, mock it, insult it etc), their blood is on their own head. We are clean.

Acts 18:6 'And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, YOUR BLOOD BE UPON YOUR OWN HEADS; I AM CLEAN'

And again, Acts 20:26-27 "Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of ALL MEN. For I HAVE NOT SHUNNED TO DECLARE UNTO YOU ALL the counsel of God."

And again, Mark 6:11 "whosoever shall not receive you, NOR HEAR YOU, when ye depart thence, SHAKE OFF THE DUST UNDER YOUR FEET for a testimony AGAINST THEM. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city."

And again, Matthew "whosoever shall not receive you, NOR HEAR YOUR WORDS, when ye depart out of that house or city, SHAKE OFF THE DUST OF YOUR FEET."

Perhaps seeds were planted/watered by us and later that person will come to their senses, but the Bible tells us our duty is fulfilled. We depart from them and warn others.

Matthew 7:6 'GIVE NOT that which is holy UNTO THE DOGS, neither cast ye your pearls BEFORE SWINE, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.'

We see here, Christ Jesus never required us to babysit or go after the dogs or swine. Rather, he warns us to beware them.

Philippians 3:2 "BEWARE OF DOGS, beware of evil workers" Dogs are people who reject the Gospel of Christ. God compares them to evil workers.

And again, in Titus 3:10-11 "A man that is an heretick AFTER the first and second admonition REJECT; Knowing that HE THAT IS SUCH IS SUBVERTED, and SINNETH, BEING CONDEMNED OF HIMSELF.

I've seen this same discussion played out repeatedly online and I'm not sure if either party learns anything from the exchange. The scriptures shared to support each point of view doesn't seem surprising to either party, but some seem to put more emphasis on one set of scriptures and less on another. Both sides agree grace through faith is what saves Ephesians 2:8-9. I've noticed that one side sometimes assumes the other side doesn't believe in grace, but that's a false assumption. I think the key question is how important is it to avoid sin? According to Jesus very important: Matthew 5:48.

Many of the parables were spoken to his followers (Christians) to fear God and keep his commandments and that narrow is the gate leading to heaven (few will find it) and wide is the gate leading to hell. If all Christians are already saved what's the point of trying? Maybe not all Christians who assume they are saved are and maybe some are lukewarm. Matthew 7:21-23. I think it's safe to say that Christianity is an active religion- the term literally means a Christ follower which involves action and movement.

If someone follows Christ I believe they can have confidence in their salvation. John 5:24 If someone lives an entire life of sin and follows the world and puts their treasure in the world and not in heaven, but they were sprinked as a baby or responded to an altar call 40 years ago, are they really a Christ follower? God is the judge, but I think that person should be afraid of going to hell and should turn from evil and follow Jesus, because of scriptures like Luke 12:5.

We're all impefect and sin, just as Paul admitted he struggled with, but that shouldn't stop someone from trying very hard to avoid sin, be obedient, and be a light to the world as Jesus said. I think someone who thinks they earned a get out of jail free card and uses it as a license to enjoy a life of sin and pursue evil will be surprised in the end as predicted in Matthew 7:21-23.
  • David W Black - In Reply on 1 John 1 - 4 years ago
The use of the word angel in the 2 verses you'd referred to is in reference to messengers, as in men or women that were used by God to preach. If they sin after their calling then you get the warning in the verses you mentioned. There are those that preached and backslid. They sinned and died spiritually. Just like Adam died spiritually in the beginning. Eve was deceived to believe she could sin and not die. The lie is still alive and deceiving many today.

    Matthew 7:17-23

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Here we see there's either good trees & good fruit or evil trees & evil fruit. Man is the trees & we're either good or evil not both. If you are guilty of sin, you're evil, working iniquity and Jesus will say depart from Me. If you won't obey God by being saved FROM sin, that's His response, depart.

This isn't personal between myself or anyone reading, but a friendly reminder sinners cannot enter Heaven nor be part of His kingdom now.
  • David W Black - In Reply on 1 John 1 - 4 years ago
Didn't you take on the name of Christ when you were saved? If the answer is yes, then why would you not also take on the attribute to be sinless, to sin no more? In John 5:14 and John 8:11 Jesus tells man and woman to go and sin no more. Also note that Jesus taught that we will be known by our fruit, which is either good or evil. Matthew 7:16-20 here Jesus tells us that the tree will either be good or evil not both. Which are you, good or evil? If you still sin, you are evil.

Satan was not in Heaven. He was not cast out of Heaven anywhere in the Bible. He was not an angel of God ever. This presents us with a God that cannot control His angels, nor can He actually save us from sin if you still commit sin after being saved. Let's consider something here. A person knows he's sinned, he feels convicted of it. He then repents and asks God to forgive his sins. By faith it is done. The sins he used to do is forgiven and forgotten. Now since God is more than fair to us all, let's reverse things. The man that was saved commits sin. He is no longer saved because he repented, changed his mind is part of repentance. His life of salvation is now forgotten. That is how this works. You are not saved and sin too. Yes I know there is the 2nd work to be done called sanctification that a person that is currently saved from sin can ask God to remove his carnal nature and clean his spiritual heart and to fill it with the Holy Ghost. Now that person is truly free from all committed and inherited sins. But he does not go about still committing sin or he is lost still.

Question: if you are saved and yet commit sin, when do you stop sinning? When you enter the Kingdom of God? If yes, then the Kingdom of God is here now for you to enter. Come to the Church Of God, a church building where the saved do not say they're saved and yet sin.

So again the question, do you claim salvation and still sin? You as the tree are either good or evil not both. Saved or sinner. Only two choices.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. ( Ephesians 2:8-10)

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. ( Titus 2:13-14)

We know that grace through faith in Jesus Christ saves us, but also we are saved unto good works. So it's a matter of a proper order of first becoming a child of God and then walking worthy in obedience to God's will.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. ( Matthew 7:18-20)

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. ( 1 Corinthians 3:11-15)

There are two aspects to consider. First, due to the fallen nature of mankind brought on us by Adam's sin, people have desires for many things that are outside God's will for our lives. We all have what we call a carnal sin nature, or the flesh. Different people have different fleshly desires. Simply to be tempted in our weakness is not sin.

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. ( Romans 8:10-14)

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren. ( James 1:12-16)

Our second consideration is the act itself:

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. ( Leviticus 18:22)

This means the LORD finds it repulsive and those who engage in it have rejected God.
