Philippians 2:12 says, "Wherefore, my beloved, as you always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but also in my absence,"
So first of all, he praises them. He says you don't obey just when I'm there, but when I'm not there you obey. Here's what I want you to do. Here's the command, the salvation process.
And please notice the literal translation: Be continually working out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
This tells me that it's a process. Someone might say, "Now wait a minute now. I thought that we didn't have to work for our salvation?"
But we can't separate this from the very next verse. Philippians 2:13 says, "For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure."
The word "works in you" is the word energizing. For it is God who is continually energizing in you both to will, and to energize of His good pleasure whatever He thinks best!
It's His energy. It's whenever He wants to energize my spirit for His Spirit to work in me. It's all according to His good pleasure. It doesn't have anything to do with my good pleasure. I'm just a vessel.
So be continually involved in having your salvation worked out because it's God who is working it out.
My salvation cannot be lost because it is God who is working it out in me, and it is God who brings my salvation to its completion. Salvation is completely a work of God from start to finish.
Thank you for the conversation. You are my brother in Christ whether we agree on everything or not. Thank you so much for the blessing. You have a blessed week also!
Thank you for the explanation. I know it is never your intention to offend. We don't agree on everything but I always feel comfortable discussing those things with you.
I do understand free-will. We all have free-will to choose whether or not to obey God.
Personally, I do believe that God can violate a believers free-will. If God wills something to happen and it involves me, and He puts it on my heart, I believe it will happen the way He wills it to happen, no matter how much of my free will I choose to exercise.
Jonah was a great example. God says you're going to Nineveh. You see, Jonah had free will. Jonah exercised his free-will and went the opposite direction, against God's will. We know what happened there. Did God violate Jonah's free-will. It would seem so to me.
Brother, I know we are not robots. As far as God wanting us to choose freely what we want to do, I'm not sure I can agree completely with that.
I think about when Jesus was calling His disciples and He said follow me. That was not an invitation. It was a command. Remember some of the responses? "Let me first" go bury my dad, or "Let me first" go say goodbye to my family.
When Jesus said "follow me," it was a command. They had no choice. It was going to happen one way or another.
God does allow me to choose. But if my choice goes against what He has willed to to happen, His will is going to override my free-will choice.
I am about out of space so I will respond in a second post to your question on Philippians 2:12, and "Why fear and trembling."
It has nothing to do with loss of salvation and I'll explain why I say this.
About that verse in Philippians 2:13, "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure".
There is often a misinterpretation of this verse. It doesn't mean that God "makes us willing", that would be a violation of our free will. Instead what it means is that "God WORKS IN our heart to make us behave according to His Will" BUT (and this is very important to know) the outcome of His work in our heart does not depend on Him but it does depend on our heart. God will do anything from His side but man has to respond, if not God can do nothing. ie He has given us His commandments to follow and he works in us to make us obeying them but at the end the result is on us, not Him. GBU
Hello Javier. That's a good question. It is my understanding that Jesus became Jesus (i.e. given this Name) at His Birth ( Matthew 1:21). I don't believe Jesus was known as Jesus prior to His incarnation, rather, the Bible (in the NT), speaks of Him as God's Word ( John 1:1-14). As you know, God is One ( Deuteronomy 6:4); God cannot be divided up into many gods. Yet God can do something that we humans can't: He can send out His Word & He can send out His Spirit. So we don't get three gods, but the One Holy God manifesting Himself in other forms (for our sake). We can't do this; I can speak or write my thoughts for another to heed, but in the end, they are only words. And I certainly can't send out my spirit to do a work on my behalf - even if I could, I would then be spirit-less, therefore, dead. But God is wholly a Spirit-Being ( John 4:24) & can do any work & be anywhere as He Wills - something you & I cannot do as our spirits are confined to bodies of flesh.
So, at the appointed time ( Romans 5:6), God sent out His Word for His people (Israel), just as He did by the mouths of the prophets in the Old Testament days. But this time, God clothed His Word with flesh, so that Israel might not only hear from God directly to them, but also witness that this One from Heaven has come to be the supreme Sacrifice for them. Their other sacrifices were only temporary until the coming of God's Sacrifice: Himself (His Word made flesh).
Then to your question: for Jesus (the Word out of God's Being) to live as a man, suffer & die as a man, he would have had to lay aside those attributes of Divinity that could never permit Him an experience of pain & death. Philippians 2:5-8 gives a perfect explanation of how Jesus had to humble Himself, not hold onto His equality with God before men , instead became their servant. Jesus now is God's Son, & as a man with human feelings, would rightly call out, in prayer, to His Father in Heaven; & He will always be God's Son seated beside His Father.
It seems you gave a fine description of the ministry of the Holyspirit.
TRUTH.
He is reveals. John 16:13.
He discerns. 1 Corinthians 2:14-15.
This is the work of God functioning in the inner man and displaying outwardly in believers.
" Worshipping in truth and in Spirit"
John 4:23.
Philippians 2:13.
I believe this takes denying ourselves and submission.
And when HE is present WE bares fruit.
This is practical, not a manifestation of the flesh. "Man doesn't WILL it to happen.
In fact as he matures I don't think he can keep it from happening.
Matthew 7:16-20. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A GOOD TREE CANNOT BRING FORTH EVIL FRUIT, NEITHER CAN A CORRUPT TREE BRING FORTH GOOD FRUIT.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
I believe when we exhibit this spirit efficient fruit then we are able to exhibit our gift. (Christ) in us and we in him.
Ephesians 4:11-15. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, SACRIFICE AND OFFERINGS THOU WOULDEST NOT, BUT A BODY HADST THOU PREPARED ME:
In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
BY TH WHICH WILL WE ARE SANCTIFIED THROUGH THE OFFERING OF THE BODY OF CHRIST ONCE FOR ALL.
Hebrews 10:1-10.
I love the way you broke down 1 Peter 2:5 in the Greek.
"Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up SPIRITUAL SACRIFICES, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ" We have a spiritual Temple/House now ("Temple" in grk (Naos) means "Place of Residence") and as priest we offer our prayers for people as spiritual sacrifices to Father God.
It parallels with Philippians 2:13.
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Doing the act of these things you mentioned in the flesh "for carnal reasons" (for show, glory, etc. etc.) or APART from a regenerated heart we are incapable of pleasing God.
By the spirit we are able to worship him in truth and in spirit.
Dear InDanger, I have prayed that God will protect you from evil. But I must say, that wishing harm on them is against God's WORD. Nothing that threatens or happens to us is as horrible as what was done to Jesus and He forgave those who crucified Him. Luke 23:34 "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do..." And we are commanded to be like Jesus Philippians 2:5
"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:"
Thank you brother Jesse for sharing those comments & particularly this passage which is so precious to me ( Philippians 2:5-8).
The point of Paul's teaching here is Jesus' Servanthood. His Coming in the flesh was purely as a Servant & a Sacrifice, for how could God ever present His Glory, Divinity & eternal Nature to secure man's redemption, unless He first condescended to man's finite, lowly estate. Thus that glorious Nature was hid from the world (though in time, some realized that He was no ordinary Man) and then coming to full realization of this Truth with great joy & power, as God's Spirit made the full Person of the Godhead clear to them.
How would Jesus' Life, Ministry, & Sacrifice worked out if His Divinity wasn't veiled from the people, & of course Him not taking on human flesh? To the pagans, they might have easily exclaimed, "the gods have come down to us in the likeness of men", but to the Jews, Jesus would never be given any platform or voice as it would be preposterous that God would come to Earth. But as a Man, not only to be able to give up His Life, but to show to His people that indeed God had appeared to them by Word & demonstration of His Power, Jesus was in every way a Man, but came veiled so that they could see Him for Who God wanted them to see. The clear-thinking, clear-seeing Jew would have seen a truly holy Man, serving others in every way by word & deed, and that God was with Him & speaking to them. "A prophet?" Maybe, "more than a prophet", to some.
Had Jesus held onto His Glory & Position, He could never take on the "form of a servant", for these positions oppose each other. Jesus knew that he could not 'grasp/tenaciously hold onto' (= "robbery") His Glory & Position & then identify with His people in their sufferings, grip in sin & ignorance, and their need for salvation & new life in Christ. So it seems, Jesus chose the path of Servant-hood, that which was necessary; a display of pomp & power would surely negate God's Plan.
I agree with what you're saying. Deity can never be broken. I did also say that He came in the fullness of who God is, but He approached this earthly life like a slave.
Where I said He emptied Himself, that is what it literally says in the Greek text. I will never dispute the deity of Jesus Christ.
We're told in Philippians 2:6, Who, being in the form of God, and the word being means while existing in the form of God. That's who He is. He thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
He did not rob God by proclaiming Himself and presenting Himself as equal to God. So Jesus is not part of who God is. He's God.
Now when we get to Verse 7, and our English Bible doesn't give this to us, but where it reads "But made himself of no reputation"literally, it is translated but He emptied Himself.
What, of being God? No!
Of coming here and taking on human flesh, He emptied Himself of the presentation of "I'm God, and I'm here and you should worship me!"
His approach to this earthly life in His first time coming here was He chose the low road. When He had a choice, He chose to sleep in the garden.
That is not very enticing for some people to say "Where does your pastor live." Well, he lives out in the park. "Where was he born?" In a cave.
All of the things associated with the Lord's path in His approach to this life was I don't want any glory from man. I don't want to be made a king from the earthly standpoint. I don't want to be treated for who I am. I want to be the servant of all.
So this was God Himself taking the low road. He emptied Himself having taken upon Him the form of a servant, or slave, and having been made in the likeness of men.
As you probably already know, since you know Greek, the word humbled used in Philippians 2:8 is the word TAPEINOO which means to make (become) low, or to humble.
With the believer, it shows humility and complete loneliness. This happens by being fully dependent on the Lord - dismissing reliance upon self (self-government) and emptying our carnal ego. This exalts the Lord as our all-in-all and prompts the gift of His fullness in us.
God emptied Himself. He came in the fullness of who God is, but He approached this earthly life like a slave.
If I can share this, if you're interested, notice at Verse 6. It begins with the word who. And there are three main verbs in this context. All the rest are participles.
While being in the form of God, He thought it not robbery to be equal with God. That's point one.
But He made Himself of no reputation, or more literally emptied Himself. That's point two.
Having taken on the form of a servant, having been made in the likeness of men, explains what it means by Him emptying Himself.
Again a participle. And being found in fashion as a man, number three, He humbled Himself.
What does that mean?
Having become obedient unto death, and not just death, but the most shameful death that you could think of at that time, the death of the cross.
You see, he's illustrating in Christ. Look what God did to have fellowship with us. That's what the believer must do. And we can only do that through Christ.
The same Jesus that humbled Himself to come 2,000 years ago, actively lives in the lives of every believer, and He Himself lives out that same emptying and humbleness.
I would like to see the meaning of the word "humble" using the text in Philippians 2:5-11. Verses 7-8 "But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, HE HUMBLED HIMSELF, AND BECAME OBEDIENT UNTO DEATH, even the death of the cross." How did Jesus humbled Himself? By becoming obedient to Father God(v 8). So, often(but not always) when the Bible talks about humbling, it actually means obeying God. When we obey God we humble ourselves, because we accept God as superior who is always right and who knows the best for us, so we put away our beliefs, our ambitions in life, our ways of living and behaving and we follow His commandments and wishes and plans for us. Hello Peggy. You could look up the following Scriptures on Jesus Christ's Deity (i.e. God's fullness found in Jesus ( Colossians 2:9) & in His Holy Spirit). Jesus' Deity is proved by:
a. His Names: Hebrews 1:8, John 20:28 (God); Matthew 16:16, Matthew 26:61-65 (the Son of God); Matthew 22:41-46 (Lord); Revelation 19:13 (Word of God); Revelation 19:16 (King of kings and Lord of lords).
b. His Characteristics: Matthew 28:18 (Omnipotence: all powerful); Luke 6:8, John 2:24,25, John 13:11 (Omniscience: all knowing); Matthew 18:20 (Omnipresence: present in any place); John 1:4 (Life); John 14:6 (Truth); Hebrews 13:8 (Immutability: unchanging); 1 Timothy 3:16, John 1:1-14 (God manifest in the flesh in Jesus).
c. His Works: John 1:3, Colossians 1:16 (creates); Colossians 1:17 (sustains); Luke 7:48,49 (forgives sin); John 11:41-44 (raises the dead); John 5:27 (judges); John 15:26 (sends the Holy Spirit).
d. His receiving Worship: Hebrews 1:6 (from angels); Revelation 5:11-13 (from other heavenly beings); Matthew 14:33 (from men); Philippians 2:10 (from all).
e. His equality within the Triune God: John 14:23, John 10:30-33 (with the Father); Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14 (with the Father and the Spirit).
I hope you can see from these few Scriptures that Jesus was not just a special Man or Prophet sent by God, but truly was "God manifested in the flesh". No other man before Jesus' coming, during, or after His leaving this Earth, could ever fully reflect God's Glory, Wisdom & Power. Only God could - and He did this by sending us His Word, made Him a Man, so that He could give His Life as full payment for our sins - but only to those who believe this & place their trust in Him. To some, the 'Trinity' teaching is abominable. But man's salvation depends on the Divine Person of the Lord Jesus Christ - that God could accept no other Sacrifice to redeem & secure people to Himself - only by giving fully of Himself, which is true love for all.
The joy of the Lord is the unshakeable conviction that God loves you more than you can fathom, the rock-solid God is with you everywhere you go.
You get the joy of the Lord through doing His will, otherwise, the Christian will lead a sad, defeated life.
1. When you sin, confess it right there, right then.
2. Find His purpose for you in life. You can do this by drawing closer and closer to Him through prayer, reading, and studying His word. Form a habit of daily devotions, praising God, confessing sin--known, those you've forgotten, and those you don't know about--pray for others, whatever the Holy Spirit convicts you to say. Don't worry about being eloquent, just talk to the Father.
3. Heed the conviction of the Holy Spirit, whether it is to confess sin or to witness for Jesus Christ to someone--whatever He bids you do.
4. Meditate on the character of God--His love for you, his mercies, blessings, protection, answers to prayer...
5. Meditate on the Gospel. Every one of your sins, past, present, and future has been paid for in full.
There is no judgment left for you, only mercy.
--You are an adopted son or daughter of God and will receive an inheritance from God.
--You have been freed from the power of sin and now have power to obey.
--You call God, "Father," and have an intimate relationship with him.
--You are part of God's forever family and uniquely joined to his people.
--You have life everlasting and will eventually experience the new heavens and new earth.
And so much more
6. Do good works toward others.
I am praying for you. I leave you with this:
Galatians 5:22-24 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Sorry for such a long delay in responding I went right off to bed after my last reply.
A disciple of Christ is one who has truly believed on and trusted Christ and have been born of God's spirit. This is not professing to be born again and trying to live a righteous life or by serving or by going to church or by ministering. It's confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart that initiates God's spirit to take residence in you. You are baptized by the Holyspirit, meaning you are Identified with Christ. Christ righteous is imputed over on to you. You are then given a new heart with the ability to love and wants to obey him and serve him at your best. John 14:23-26.
You will also love the brethren. John 13:34-35. 1 John 4:21.
You can't redeem yourself! You are redeemed when you truly believe on the work Jesus did on the cross where he paid our ransom as mentioned.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Mark 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Christianity isn't anything you "DO"
A Christian is what you "BECOME" by the working of the Holyspirit. And you become that by truly trusting in Christ not the works of our own hands. Christ becomes the Lord over your life and the head of the body of Christians you have been baptized into.
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Further clarification would demonstrate that in Christ we are truly fulfilling the law. The law itself could not validate a death sentence for thinking about fornication or adultery; or murder but in the heart it showed that it was worthy of spiritual judgment leading eventually to eternal death. Philippians 2:13 shows that God gives us the WILL (sorry about the shouting just emphasizing stuff here) to obey. We cannot love the law as the Psalmist spends all 172 verses of the longest Psalm (119) describing in the flesh as the flesh and spirit are in emnity. In the flesh we cannot obey as Romans 8:8 and other scriptures indicate.
Again; the ceremonial laws Christ Himself deliberately allowed to be broken (such as eating heads of grain on the Sabbath Day). He also corrected the Pharisees as to what "work" truly involved; showing that mercy was more important than blind legalism by healing on the Sabbath repeatedly.
In some sense then the New Covenant or more superior one abrogated the old ( Hebrews 9:15). Even the Old Testament allowed for God's grace to stand above judgment; for instance with David's sin with Bathsheeba that involved adultery and being complicit to murder. These were death sentence penalties according to the law. God also had a greater plan since His lineage came from the line of David. Notwithstanding this; however there was collateral damage such as the loss of the child (who David would see someday in heaven); as well as enemies being a constant thorn in the side.
Our sin is a serious matter; Paul warned the Corinthians about taking communion unworthily ( 1 Cor. 11:27); as well as in the book of Acts Ananias and Sapphira were killed because they lied to the Holy Spirit. We can then be saved but taken out early; if we are saved. Those who continue in an unrepentant LIFESTYLE of sin likely aren't saved as there is no conviction of the Spirit; or new heart showing genuine conversion. We must not only know the truth but LOVE it.
"For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ." Jude 1:4 KJV

"And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:" Mark 12:29 KJV
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:" Deuteronomy 6:4 KJV
"And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments." Revelation 16:7 KJV
Romans 10:9 , Luke 2:11, Philippians 2:11, 2 Corinthians 4:5
1Corinthians 13:12, yes, it says ._. "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
There seems to be scriptures that sort of suggest that it's possible. John 11, Hebrews 12:1, following from Hebrews 11, Mark 9:2-4, Matthew 17:1-3, 1Samuel 28:15-19,
We will all give account, Matthew 25:31-46, Romans 14:12, Philippians 2:1-16, Deuteronomy 5:11, Exodus 20:7, Mark 9:39, Matthew 12:31, in context Matthew 12.
God is not The God of the dead but of the living: Matthew 22:32, Psalms 139, John 3:16, hopefully these help answer your questions
This is one of the hardest things for man to grasp.
Christ is the body of his Father and his God. Christ said of myself I can do nothing, It is his Father, the life of Christ, that CAUSES Christ to do the Father's WILL.
When Christ was crucified he commended his LIFE back to his Father, and Christ's body died because the Life of the Father departed from it.
His BODY was all mankind, sinful flesh, it died, sinful flesh died on that cross, CHRIST'S body arose because the Father put his life back into Christ, all mankind arose, as a new creation, we are the body of Christ, Christ is the LIFE IN US, we do what the life of Christ CAUSES us to do.
Philippians 2:13 For it God (Christ in us) that worketh IN YOU both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.
Ezekiel 36:27 I will put my spirit within you, and CAUSE you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgements, and do them.
Jeremiah 51:20 Thou (my body) art my battle axe and weapons of war, for with thee (my body) will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee (my body) will I destroy the kingdoms.
Revelation 2:26 He that overcometh (deception) and keepeth MY WORKS unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.
If you understand this, then Philippians 4:13-19 will make more sense to you.
Since you are saved and a born again Christian, what are you saved from?
Is Christ not the passover lamb of God?
Does not death pass over those covered by the blood?
John 5:24 ....he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath EVERLASTING LIFE, and shall not come into condemnation, but is (present tense) passed from death into Life.
John 8:51 ......if a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
Lukewarm Christians don't keep his sayings, his words.
Have you come to truth of what being born again is?
Philippians 2:13 For it is God (the life in you) that worketh IN YOU both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.
Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my JUDGEMENTS, and do them.
John 16:8 And when he is come (Christ in you, the new creation) he will will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of JUDGEMENT.
John 16:11 Of JUDGEMENT because the prince of this world (lies and deception in you) is JUDGED.
Matthew 12:28 But if I (Christ in you) by the Spirit of God, cast out devils (lies and deception) the the kingdom of God has come unto you.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God (Christ in you) that worketh IN YOU both TO WILL and TO DO (his statutes and his judgements) his good pleasure.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is BORN OR GOD (truth and life) doth not commit sin (It's Christ in you working both TO WILL and TO DO his statutes and his Judgements)
Most Christians want walk in this truth and that makes them lukewarm.
The Mind of Christ means the way Jesus thinks, talks, feels, behaves and so on. There isn't a single verse in the Bible to summarize that, but the gospels are full of Jesus' way of 'living and behaving and teaching, we can take examples from those.
Maybe the verses in Philippians 2:5-10 can give you a general idea. Jesus' mind was to obey Father God's commandments.
Hiya Billybob...Gbu but you may want to check out John 17:5 KJV....Father, Glorify thou me with thine own self even with the Glory i had with you b/f the world was...Jesus said that all men are to honor the Son even as we honor the father....He that honoreth not the son honoreth not the Father that has sent him...And Philippians 2:6 He, Jesus thought it not robbery to be equal to God his FATHER....And Billy,... Jesus has the Power to propagate very God in us humans....When he breathe on them ( his words were his Breath/his seeds )... he said receive YE the H.G....And the H.G. is also God...Jesus was not only God the son but he has the power to propagate very God in humanity....In Genisis 1:28 Every thing has to Multiply/reproduce after its kind thats y the sower wants to sow his precious seed in us,...Initiating a birth of Christ in us..Our new birth..Thats y he has to know us,...Thats when that good seed is sown in us thats y he said that which is born of the spirit is spirit which is the H.G. That Child of promise...That was the great Promise of the Multiplication of Christ as the stars of heaven in multitude....Thats y we refer to the H.G. as the Promise the H.G. IS THE MULTIPLCATION OF CHRIST IN US VIS HIS SEEDS HIS WORDS HIS BREATH...
.....And he said to whom the Word came ( his seed ) it made them Gods....impling the gift of God, the H.G. WHICH IS THE CHILD of PROMISE....Remember when God made that great Promise of multiplication he swore by himself....Thus the Gift of GOD, the H.G. is also God..A living being that is gonna be born in US via the seeds of Jesus...Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil CHILD YOU WILL IN NO WISE ENTER THERE IN..OK LEMME GO...When Jesus said whosoever receiveth one such Child in my name receiveth me....Thats the H.G. the manchild that has to be born in us that is gonna rule all nations...The H.G. cannot be born in us without his seed the words of the book of life...Thus he has to know us...the new birth requires his seed
Spiritual transformation is coming to the truth of God's words. YOU ARE controlled by the Holy Spirit, transformation comes when you agree with God. THE WORD.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God (Christ in you) that worketh IN YOU (God's body) both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.
Colossians 1:27 ....this mystery .....Christ in you ......

Here is the second part that I said I would send.
GBU
Ephesians 4:11-15. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
God bless.
Hebrews 13:8 kjv , John 14:6 kjv, Philippians 2:5-11 kjv.
Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
Thanks, and God bless for all you do.
"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:"
God Bless!
He doesn't give me the ability. He does it!
GBU
God bless!
Philippians 2:13.
God bless.

If we approach the throne as: Job 1:6, Job 2:1, John 1:12, 1John 3:1,2,
Philippians 2:1,
Hopefully these help
1Corinthians 11:17-34, 1Corinthians 1, 1John 1,
Here are some scriptures on fellowship of Believers hopefully these are helpful
God Bless You!
