This verse emphasizes the need to think before we speak. One who takes the time to think before they say something are considered upright or righteous according to this scripture.
This verse shows the effect that our emotions can have on our appearance. Those with a joyful heart show this by their appearance. A joyful heart can leave you bright-eyed and with glowing.
The way of life leads upward to the wise, that he may keep from going downward to Sheol. The Hebrew word for Hell is Sheol, and that place had two compartments. One was Abraham's bosom, and the other where the souls of the lost awaited the final judgment. Jesus took Abraham's bosom to Heaven, when He lead captivity captive, and gave gifts to men. When the thief said Lord remember me, when you come into your Kingdom, and Jesus told him, this day shall you be with Me in Paradise. We are wise when we turn from our sins, and ask Jesus to come into our heart to save us. Then when we die, we are absent from the body, and present with the Lord. David said I will be satisfied when I awake in your likeness. When we see Jesus we will be like Him, for He will change our vile bodies into His glorified body at His appearing.

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer reflects love and understanding of a situation and is the key to victory. While grievous words end up destroying your own self. People who speak softly and understandably never regret their words because they know it will accomplish what is being said.

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger. How we need to remember the words of James: Be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath, for the wrath of man, does not work the righteousness of God. Many marriages can be saved by giving heed to these words of wisdom. Just as an apple a day, keeps the doctor away, a Proverb a day keeps the heart from dismay. No wonder God gave us a Proverb chapter, for everyday of the month. We would be wise to meditate on them, and teach them to our family.
PERSUEING sin is fun for a season.sin is never satisfied.,always crippling its victim, like alcohol.I speak from experience on this.PLEASE ,seek to follow JESUS.MATT.6;33...........flee fornication and live better.
PSALMS 15 and PROVERBS 15 are warning me against pride and arrogance.BEING unwilling to receive instruction from a source of JESUS is DETRIMENTAL to life,(even a donkey)..JESUS LOVES US VERY MUCH!..
We are not to force ourselves to speak correctly, as it were by our ability, to attain favor from God, as seemingly taught by many, to name it and claim it; however in Proverbs wisdom comes out of our mouths or not at all. Note these 4 vs. 2; the tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright, 4; a wholesome tongue is a tree of life. 7; the lips of the wise disperse knowledge and 23; a man hath joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! The spoken word is salvation to the hearers and the joy of the Lord is our strength and o how we need joy and it comes by the answer of our mouth. it is like wisdom is calling us to speak words of life and not despair.
PROVERBS CHAPTER 15: STUDY THE WORD AND YOU WILL HAVE A TREE OF LIFE BUT IF YOU DO NOT STUDY THE WORD YOU HAVE THE LAW OF GOD. HE IS HAPPY TO ANSWER THE PRAYERS OF THE RIGHTEOUS. IT IS BETTER TO HAVE A LITTLE AND FEAR (RESPECT) THE LORD THAN HAVE ALL THOSE RICHES AND HAVE TROUBLE. THE LORD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WICKED BUT HE WILL ANSWER THE PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS.
VERSE 29 STOOD OUT FOR ME(29The LORD [is] far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous) I JUST BELEIVE THAT WICKED COULD ALSO MEAN HAVING ANY DOUBT OR SECOND GUESSING WHAT GOD CAN DO.... BUT WHEN WE LET GO OF THAT DOUBT AND BELIEVE THAT GOD WILL DO WHAT HE SAID HE WILL DO OUR PRAYERS ARE HEARD.
