Verse 5~Jehovah God hates those who are proud in heart and this scripture shows that they will not go unpunished.

Verse 25: There may be a way that seems right to us, but it can have disastrous consequences if it is not the right choice. We must be careful and look to God for direction.

I agree with Servant of God's thoughts. We must not be deceived by religious and political leaders whose principles go contrary to biblical principles. Too many people today turn a blind eye to ungodly actions of our leaders. Matthew 7:20 states, by their fruits ye shall know them. And Proverbs 16:18 declares that pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. Take heed.

Today, as in every age, we are surrounded by the ungodly near and far. In Col. 3: 2, we are exhorted to mind the things that are above, not the things that are on earth. Also, Proverbs 16:18 encourages us with knowing that pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. Keep our eyes focused on God, praying with thanksgiving to Him, knowing that He overcomes all evil.

God despises those who are haughty and they are sure to experience a downfall.

Verse 32: It takes a great amount of strength to control our anger.

I think Proverbs 16:18 Tells us that we need to be humble in our thinking of our self's because when we get to thinking we are better then we really are we are going to fall because God hates arrogant spirit that people develop.

God wanted to show the consequences of living apart from him. Many times people come back to God after getting into trouble. He gives us a choice to go our own way because love is not possible without free will.

Verse 2: In our own eyes we may seem to be doing okay, but it is Jehovah God who judges us according to his standards.

V21. "The wise in heart shall be called prudent..." a prudent man foreseeth the evil and hideth himself, a wise man prepares himself, he gets ready for whats ahead, and he knows what's ahead, because he reads his bible(KJV). He know the future, because it is written in the Bible.

LOOKING BACK OVER MY LIFE I KNOW THAT GOD HAS ALREADY ESTABLISHED MY STEPS NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I MADE THE WRONG STEPS. TRULY HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT IN MY LIFE!
