    Matthew 15:9;11;13;15-20

9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. ( Proverbs 18:21->21 DEATH and LIFE are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

12 Then came His disciples, and said unto Him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

13 But He answered and said, EVERY PLANT, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

15 Then answered Peter and said unto Him, Declare unto us this parable.

16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

18 But those things which proceed out of the MOUTH come forth from the HEART; and they defile the man.

19 For out of the HEART proceed false witness, evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, blasphemies:

20 These are the things which defile a man:

    Why do men hate God?

When attempting to bring attention to man's deplorable state of heart Wh( Jeremiah 17:9) I have found in my own self examination that it is best to evaluate all that we consider what Phillipians 4:8 states and then look at our own heart and soul carefully.

When we seek all that men may say is kind; benevolent; compassionate; etc. and try to find pleasure in life apart from God of course we look to other religions and usually end up in a humanistic mentality. We ascribe to others as well who seem to portray such attributes as somehow "enlightened". I can only speak for myself as a man here; but how much of the flesh is appealed to in today's "Christian" music industry? If someone is young; thin and attractive does it move us as much as someone who is a bit overweight and unattractive who performs on stage? Do we favor those in our own social circles or families above others? What are our motives when we serve others?

Such logic of course often results in men not appreciating what God does provide such as a wife mentioned in Proverbs 18:22.

To find the "grass greener on the other side of the field" people think it worthwhile to get a new model and get rid of the spouse that they have been granted by covenant; something Malachi 2:15 says we should not do (also see Proverbs 15:18-20). Interestingly Proverbs 15:8 just before that talks about the sacrifice of the wicked being detestable as contrasted to prayers of the righteous.

Of course many hate God outright; at least being honest about their intentions; accusing God often of being a "killjoy" and sometimes being an admitted Satanist "do as thou wilt" mentality. Of course we have to look at men's obvious evil acts; so we have laws God has set forth to keep order. With all the self professed benefits of "freedom" we see the end result in the fruits of violence and discord in society that many possess or develop as the cultish mentality comes out. Mark 7:21 is the end result.

Please pray for me. I am single and I truly desire to be married to a Christian lady who is beautiful to me. I fear that I will never get married. I really desire a joyful marriage that is blessed by God, Proverbs 18:22. Please pray that Jesus Christ will show me mercy and grace and help me find and marry a wife who is beautiful to me, the helpmeet ( Genesis 2) who is right and best for me. Please pray that Jesus Christ will help me be a good husband. Thank you. May God bless you and keep you.

    Dear David0921

The face value of the statement you quoted does not imply additions or subtraction to the words of God as I previously stated to you, so it was not for face value that you responsed.

in your apology, you state "if" you misrepresented their beliefs, there's no 'if" to it.

David your apology is evasive & shifty, then you reinforce your statement of your beliefs, in all this, it makes this attempted apology void. its the same tactics you colored over your erroneous statement of "visions & dream" with GiGi.

    Psalms 15:1-4

Friend, I been here, God would not let me near Him, the intimacy & closeness that I intensely craved, to really know Him. as a Father knows a son, & son knows his father was shut to me, His all discerning eyes penetrate my thickest covering, I had to come clean every wit, before His wrath was remove & remission of the transgression of granted & fellowship was restored. Hebrews 12:11

Then came I to a more enlightened understanding of King David prayer, Psalms 51:6 & I rejoice in His judgments for they were meant for my cleansing to bring me back to the intimate fellowship & only became my condemnation when I reject them.

I learnt by experience that the difference between "all that are call & the few that are chosen", is how we respond to Him in these crucial moments in our relationship with Him & our fellow human beings.

I pray that this helps in making a clean break, remember who we war against Ephesians 6:12 who seek to rule & reign in the hearts & minds of mankind, they have been doing this for a long time, & to be honest, if we look at the condition of the world & church today, they're pretty good at it, so we must not remain ignorant of their devices.

A love for the Truth in the inward parts alone defeats them, who is Christ, the Armor, Wisdom & Power of God.

    Proverbs 18:12

    God's provisions and covenants

Proverbs 18:22 states that he who finds a wife finds a good thing; a blessing from the Lord. This; as with any other scripture should be in context; in this case it is to a covenant for a lifetime partner (see Malachi 2:14). Time and space won't be sufficient to explore the relevant passages in Deuteronomy and how they apply today to a family being blessed; but nonetheless the principles apply as in Ephesians 5 and elsewhere are relevant today. Surely Billy Graham was right in stating that the "family that prays together stays together."

God is on display when a family is worshipping together in fellowship and harmony. I have seen functionally this tends to be a strength in the Reformed churches; but with the underlying risk of "religiousity" when children especially are simply living out a role and behavior that they are used to; rather than having any real meaning to them. In any case; it seems to stand out when this is a reality; when you see a whole family truly worshipping God it is an awesome and humbling sight; in my opinion.

Psalm 37:25 states that David never saw the righteous or their children begging for bread. As a dogmatic promise; I can't say that is a promise when you evaluate how many have starved especially in our world in recent years. However the OPPOSITE is certainly true; those weighed down by idolotry; and false religion certainly are more prone to calamity. The case of the cows roaming around in India in the midst of starvation has been a stark reminder of this situation.

When Jesus was on earth; it doesn't really say whether or not the work of some contributed to His ministry; it does mention some women supporting Him. Certainly Paul worked and we are all called to do the same. Too often it seems that the "mundane" everyday tasks of work and chores are somehow "less spiritual" than time in church fellowship. His blessings are material; and spiritual and it is hard to separate them.

    Hello All

Concerning Proverbs 18:21...My mom told me that when I was born, an elder in the family commented, upon looking upon me and reacting to, what she referred to as me looking too angelic. She told my mom, " She didn't come here to stay".

Well eight months later I contracted SPINAL MENIGITUS. My mom had to be very proactive and had to respond to the Holy Spirit's leading; with her working with God, I was saved by her being led to a phone booth in the hallway of that hospital that gave up on me and calling a Private Pediatrician . He told my mom to get me out of that hospital...he ordered an ambulance and saved my life...that was 68 years ago ( Drs. FORREST P. WHITE AND NELSON PAYNE). I believe the words spoken over me by the family member had power to cut my life short. In my life I've had so many up close and personal encounters with God. I ought to write a book detailing them. I've written them in great detail on my I Pad. Peace to everyone

    Genesis 4:3-24,

Note Genesis 4:4 "._..._respect unto Abel & his offering:"

Genesis 4:5 "But unto Cain & his offering._._."

    Genesis 4:7

It seems to clearly say it was the person, giving it & how. There are other times GOD didn't accept bad attitudes, behavior nor their sacrifices, or offerings. Hosea 8:13, Jeremiah, Amos 5:22, Malachi 1:10,

    Notice Isaiah 58, Proverbs 21:3, Psalms 19:14, Proverbs 21:3,

    Proverbs 18:5,

Isn't it interesting how when Jesus was helping people, healing & teaching, His brothers in the Temple also were likewise ready to kill Jesus making Jesus sacrifice acceptable to GOD & not their own? Mark 12, Hebrews 12,

    Romans 12:1,2, Ephesians 5:1-21, 1Peter 2:5,20,

    Hopefully these are helpful

    Thank you Dgjot, I share similar sentiments to you. Yet, I'm comforted knowing that whatever evil there may be around me or of the plans & devices of wicked men against me, the Lord truly is in full knowledge & control over the situation. We should not be unduly weighed down in mind & spirit of 'what could happen'. Rather, our hearts must be raised above what we see or don't see on Earth and raised to see the Lord of Heaven who promises us His Care: 2 Thessalonians 3:2,3; Psalm 18:2-6; Psalm 32:5-7;

Psalm 125:1; Proverbs 18:10, are a few verses that should encourage all of us.

We can indeed be bold, going forth in the Name of the Lord. Until we go out in faith, facing the enemy & his followers head on with the Love & Grace of the Lord, we will never fully know or experience the Lord's Arm of Salvation. This is not the time to live in fear, but to wisely use the time the Lord gives us to stand bodly for Him & exude His Righteousness amongst a people who have no knowledge or desire for it. There may be evil intent from some, but "Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day", even as the Lord opened up the way (the Red Sea) for His children to pass over ( Exodus 14:13,14). The Lord has all of Heaven's resources ready to come to our aid - only faith can take hold of them & release them, that we might all stand in awe of the Lord of Glory.

And yes, we need to exercise great care when seeing God's Work before us. Many saw it in that day but accused Jesus of working by the power of Satan. There's no hope for those who continually refuse God or acknowledge His Mercy shown to them & others. We should not be hasty in condemning a work we may know very little about - maybe doing so to our hurt.

"We have also a more sure word of prophecy, unto which ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn and the morning star arise in your hearts, knowing this first: that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation."

    Revelation 22:16

"I, Jesus, have sent My angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star."

"And don't say anything you don't mean. This counsel is embedded deep in our traditions. You only make things worse when you lay down a smoke screen of pious talk, saying, 'I'll pray for you,' and never doing it, or saying, 'God be with you,' and not meaning it. You don't make your words true by embellishing them with religious lace. In making your speech sound more religious, it becomes less true." -Jesus

    Isaiah 54:16-17

"Behold, I have created the craftsman who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its task; and I have created the destroyer to wreak havoc. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me," declares the LORD.

    You Do Matter,

The other day when I was reading Matthew 25:31-46, what stuck out to me, was, everyone in that moment was surprised. Some didn't think the did enough, others thought they did enough. Also Matthew 7.

Jesus rebuked the hypocrisy within the Church. He even threw over the tables of the merchandise & money. Luke 19, John 2:13-17, Mark 11, ironically this is the week many will be selling merchandise. GOD knows those who are wrongly accused, mistreated, used. Matthew 5:9-12, John 15:20,

Dear "Felicia phillips" The devil and his companions were cast out of heaven. God has not love for those who exalted, He has created everything after all. So a place in God must also have a picture of them, at least from the beginning. That is, hatred is probably not, but Must Endure those conditions.

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Proverbs 18:12 12 Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.

Mark, this is what you're dealing with. I've gone through this myself. No more despairing. You have to stand up against IT. And it thinks it can take you down. Just as Ezekiel had to do in chapter 37, SPEAK OUT: in Jesus Name and by the power of his authority, I come against YOU, spirit of heaviness; I BIND your evil plans against me and in the name of Jesus of Nazareth I reject you and cast you into outer darkness to wander, forever. I forbid your return. I am a blood bought child of the Most High God! I am covered in Jesus Blood. Let me go!!!

    Genesis 3:v.1-4

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 18:v.21

When the Devil speaks, his speech is accompanied by the death, or death comes together his speech simultaneously. Why? Because the Devil's speech changes the course of the nature, as is written in James 3:v.6-8:

6 The tongue is a FIRE, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on FIRE of HELL.

7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

    Romans 3:v.13-14

13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:

14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

    2 Corinthians 11:v.13-15

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers (MINISTERS of Satan) also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

    NOTE:

There will be two powerful Beasts in near future: The ancient Beast of sea-the Papacy-, and the Beast of earth(Israel) with two horns like a lamb(false lamb/false messiah), and he spake as Dragon.

This is precisely what cured me of every scar in my soul after I was born again. I loved my Dad with all my heart. He worked so hard that he was not really available to nurture his 5 rowdy children; plus one my mother adopted.

My life story is one of feeling " left behind the door", abandoned; later, betrayed repeatedly. I retreated into astrology to find out what was wrong with me. 15 years later I was adopted by God. $Happiest day of my life.

You are adopted fully and legally into the family of God, through Jesus. We don't have to tiptoe around, afraid he will ever say it was a mistake. He's a covenant God. I am my Beloveds; my Beloved is MINE. (Song of Solomon) He wrote that 3 times. The most powerful day of my life was when I read those verses in succession. I never felt passed over or rejected another day of my life. He is Mine and I'm never letting go. He is the Bridegroom. We have covenant with Him. Rest in these scriptures:

    Psalms 27:10

When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

    Proverbs 18:14

The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?

    Romans 8:15

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. [God becomes your Daddy]

    Ephesians 1:5

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

    Romans 8:16

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

    1 Corinthians 2:12

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

    Ephesians 1

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us ACCEPTED in the beloved. (Jesus)

Pass this along to anyone you meet who needs to know they are loved and accepted. He who wrote it is called, Faithful and True.

    Proverbs 18:21

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall EAT the fruit thereof.

    1 John 3:14

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth NOT his brother abideth in death.

    Romans 8:6

For to be carnally minded (fleshly), is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

We need to be prayerful about how we speak about ourselves, to us; or about other people. There are things such as spoken curses. The Bible says that we are held accountable for every idle word that comes out of our mouth. I guess our angels record that stuff? I consciously made myself pause before I let something fly that was not acceptable.

Praying the right things along with a Bible scripture; is a very powerful prayer in a life giving way. Proverbs is a great book to glean good thoughts.

We have to have good scriptures memorized (the ones we love most), so when Satan gangs up on us with warfare; the righteous thoughts pop up automatically.

    Like: I am the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus;

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (including moving this 200 lb box)

There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ.

My favorite for lonely: I am my Beloveds, and My Beloved is MINE.

EDIFY. This is what gets us over a rough patch.
