Proverbs is truly a book of wisdom.

No man can teach you except by the Holy Ghost. But beware of false brothers and avoid them. You need not that any man teach you because the Anointing which is the Holy Ghost teaches all men to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts. To live soberly and righteous in this adulterous and perverse generation. Flee fornication. Pluck out the eye beholding abominations. Cut off supplies to fulfill your lust

Very wise instructional book on the way to live. As relavent today as ever was or will be.

Ask God and seek out a teaching ministrey that teaches the Holy Spirit and speaking in Tongues. Its available to you today. God Bless and be with you. Shalom yedda dim {beloved one}.

Thank God for sending His Son Jesus Christ for our sins and giving us His words that we can obtain the knowledge and understanding of His words to live our daily lives and will not stray from His laws. He Loves us so much , He gave His life for us . What more do we want to know how much He loves us, and He still give us His words and Laws to live our live by.

I believe ultimately it doesn't really matter what I think/ don't think about Proverbs. What ultimately matters is God's intention purpose in writing it and plans then my take away and the way I implement it matters most

For God is love and his words is our life. Jesus is faithful for those who are diligently seeking him He will pour out his knowledge and will help us to understand his words. I believe the bible was provided for us to believe not to figure out. John1.1 In the beginning there was a word and the word was with God and the word was God. Amen how loving Jesus for giving his blood and life for us.

Proverbs is the book for daily living. A book that should be read everyday for daily living that day. I thank God for the wisdom of Solomon to help me learn to obey God. For we know that our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ is our wisdom of God for us. Amen.

Proverbs ! is Romans chapter 1 verses 18 -32 amazing I never quit thought about it before it was plain as Day when I read it here. It is numbing I am inspired with so much knowledge and hope in so few words I am also deeply shaken ashamed and lost filled with fear I know God is waiting I walked with him or have I turned him I do miss him Lord Christ help me to pray so Father may hear

Hi Sheila. I very much feel like you, that there is so much to scripture it's difficult to know where to begin! However I think putting aside time for Holy Bible study is most worthwhile and you're doing exactly the right thing. I'd like to recommend you start with any of the four gospel books and perhaps a part of the OT that's fairly easy going, like Ecclesiates for example. May God bless you!

Proverbs 1:24-32

A true believer obeys out of "Fear of the Lord." Without the Fear of the Lord there is no love.
Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, also found in the book of Psalms. If you do not have Fear of the Lord, you have no Godly wisdom. God is wisdom.

I read the statements and I would like to add a little clarity to some. God does want His children to fear Him. in a manner that you are aware of His power. However, He wants His children to obey out of love. Proverb gives us steps to take that leads to sound wisdom from on High. Veegee

God is a God that wants us to love Him and not fear Him.Just like man's law you must obey. With disobedience comes consequences.God want us to love and obey him.That was the reason God came in the form of man, Jesus Christ to give us an example that we can see and feel. I don't fear God but I do fear getting on His bad side.I don't fear the police either. Bad side not for me. My Father is for me!

Our God is a holy God-Consuming fire-Creator of all things-He killeth and Maketh alive- The First and the last-Provider-Great King! Shall we not fear before him? Knowing his statues and commandments we ought to fear enough to do them. For those who don't wish to learn of God and his statutes refuse wisdom and love simplicity. In their time of trouble they are w/o comfort and remedy!

IT IS AVERY WONDERFUL Start For Wisdom And Wish One Could Read It And Understands It Including Other Chapters Of The Proverbs It Would Lead To Great Harvest For This Year 2016 In The Life Of Every Person.

Why is it that most people want to remain distant , aganist God most people turn that way the world of people is a ugly place unless you truly meet Gods people who want to obey him and understand what he is saying in his word . God will always make his Spirit known to us how blessed are we , we have the kingdom of God inside us .

Hi Jane, If it is lawful for a woman to wear a dress/skirt/short pants, long pants and her husband prefers she wear a particular style she would not be sinning if she did so. A woman should submit to her husband in all things unless it goes against scripture. I hope this helps.

Shelly the word of God cannot be change to how we think it should sound my understanding of the chapter u are talking about is this. if u do not beat your child when he or she needs it u will spoil them and they will go threw life spoiled unruly disrepectful .thats why we need to raising them llike God word told u to.u must have the Holy Ghost help to raise a child today praise him we need God

To fear God is to have a reverential Trust in Him : to stand in Awe of His Greatness ! to know that in disobedience to Him will cost Greater than what you want : I want to know my Lord God : A fool says that there is no God : fools despise knowledge of God for it is foolishness to them. I also want to be instructed of my Lord from His word.

Fear in this case can also be reffered to respect. whom you respect you fear and whom you fear you respect. Amen

my commnet is that I think that the bible tells us the truth about god wants us to do and also tells us to pray for forgiveness.

Proverbs is a great book and worth its wisdom in gold better then gold, we should live by this book.
