Proverbs 13:24 Proverbs 29:15-17 Ephesians 6:4 are good verses to look at. Look them in the eyes. Talk soft do not yell but be firm if you say a punishment you must go through with it. It takes time if you did not train them well at first but don't give up. Make sure if you do wrong, that you go to your child and apologize, they need to see that you know that even parents need forgiven.

This is ended very sobering. To know that continuing to ignore God will result in one being hard necked and cause their sudden destruction death, from which there is no remedy. Today is the acceptable day of the Lord. Seek him now while he may still be found. Changing your mind and obeying Christ, forgiving all and being forgiven. Shalom

The fear of another person can be a trap to individuals. This scripture could benefit children at school. Peer pressure is difficult for many kids, and often leads to problems. This scripture can encourage children to keep the Bible principles they are being taught and not to worry about what others might think. Trust in Jehovah and he will protect you.

29:11 A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. The tongue is the deadliest sword. We need Gods guidance when we speak. Lord help me watch when I speak and what I say when I do speak. There are times when we have to be silent and allow God to work it out. There is wisdom in his Word.

Proverbs 29:14 The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
This verse is so true only if people would use this today.

Whoever a man heareth the word of God He can please God. Only by hearing the words of God faith will come. Man does not live by bread alone but by every word of God. If we have Jesus in our life and obeying his words we have everything we need. Let's give thanks and praise and worship him only this should be our prayers today. Jesus is the only destroyer to the works of the devil who confuse us.

Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not the LORD hath forsaken the earth. Therefore let us lie in wait for the righteous because he is not for our turn, and he is clean contrary to our doings: he upbraideth us with our offending the law, and objecteth to our infamy the transgressings of our education.

I use to be afraid of men : I still have to deal with it from time to time : I am learning that when I put my trust in the Lord : He will keep me safe : When you make a bold stand on God's word : God will back you. Sometimes I have to because of standing that i may lose a friend and or get ridiculed or spit on ! And even the enemy will keep pressuring me to change : I stand and will not back down : Not easy But OH !! The Joy of the Lord is my strength !!! I will not fear. Fear activates the devil : Faith activates God !!! Yes ! Amen !

Proverbs 29; (In faith we are teachable.) Psalm 25:4"Teach me thy way, O Lord; teach me thy paths.Job6:24"Teach me and i will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred." Psalm 86:11"Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth:unite my heart to fear thy name." (The way of the Lord is righteousness. The path of the Lord is Truth.)

Proverbs 29:19 seems to naturally fit with verse 13 of same chapter. A faithful messenger is refreshing to his master, whereas the master, Jesus can not put confidence in an unfaithful man. That man is like a broken tooth, serves no purpose, or a foot out of joint. Imagine us as the body of Christ here on earth, with a mission to spread a message, the gospel in fact. A faithful messenger of the gospel will refresh our Lord, but an unfaithful man, who fails to properly function as a member of the body, proves useless, and weakens the body. How far can we get with a foot out of joint? We must work together, to please the King, not the pastors or the church folk, but be a messenger that proves faithful and refreshes the Lord with our obedience to the call, to go out into all the world, preach the gospel, and make disciples of all men....

We should all be concerned about others and their plight. Unless we ourselves don't want the same compassion one day lest we be in the same position. God has a heart for the poor and needy. I pray that God will help me to have a compassionate heart.

It is foolish to let out all your thoughts to others, whether in anger or your plans to carry out something. It is only wise to refrain from talking until an appropriate time.

I love how God's word guides us so simply and gives us the liberty to choose the path we desire.
  • Sam Mcilwain on Proverbs 29 - 9 years ago
To me this proverb speaks of going Gods way or satans way and the consequences of each. It is clearly to our benefit to trust in the Lord and live in the light of Gods law and reap the benefits. Many people try to reap the benefits without making Jesus their lord and savior. Putting the cart before the horse will not lead to eternal blessings. Good works won't bring eternal life. Only a committed life to Jesus Christ can.

Basically this Biblical passage is actually bringing people to the knowledge of the fact that when God cease to speak and reveal Himself to His people, then the people are in danger of perishing! A revelation from God is redemptive because it guides people in the right tract
