This Book of Wisdom tells us the importance of receiving God's Word and putting it into practice in our daily lives... What do we get in return according to Proverbs 4?

V4. Life. V6 preservation and provision. V8. Promotion and Honor.

V9. Grace. V10 length of days. V12. Less need of correction. No stumbles

V13. Receiving Instruction equals Life. V14-17. Avoid evil; it is destruction

V22. Keeping God' Word & Instruction gives Life and Health.

God WANTS to BLESS your Life. Choose His word and wisdom!

Wanted to introduce myself to the forum

People may be awakening but many are falling away too. Grab onto God and hold fast to your faith. It's called the great falling away.

Will we be shown the truth and will man return to our Lord ,God, and Savior. This world is being taken over by evil. When will the awakening happen? I feel it must be soon

Who are the gentiles and Samaritans that Jesus instructs his disciples not to go near? and why does he instruct them to not go near them? When he himself spoke to a Samaritan woman and said if you know who this was, you would ask for living water?

Guiding and keeping our hearts with all diligence is very critical these days. Our heart can deceives and leads in the wrong way. So we have to read and apply the word of God and ask Him to guide us in all our ways. The word further tells us that the heart of men is desperately wicked. So if out of our hearts are the issues of life that means we have protect it.

your day of love may bring the gratitude of others for life.

1,2,3, are a choice God and sin 4 reaffirms the stand for God

Thank you Fred and yes we do indeed need Gods Wisdom not Wordly reasoning and understanding, if not corrected it will lead to acceptance of Sin. Proverbs 4:7 -Proverbs15:2. We were not Born with Gods Wisdom so we all lack it but when we ask in Faith we will receive James 1:5-8 because it is according to Gods Good Will for us as is the Empowering of The Holy Spirit 1Cor2 - Luke11:13 and also Confirmed in the Scriptures is our need to seek Jesus our only Spiritual Teacher Matthew 23:8-10 who Leads us into all Truth and also when we Study the Scriptures as you shared Fred but of course not like the Pharisees did John5:37-40. If we recognize the power of our words have life and death , then we would be more careful about even our choice of words. Our words give us identity therefore if we use filthy language we are conveying to others that we are filthy. If we find ourselves in that position of weakness, then we must ask for God's spirit to transform our lives. Read Proverbs 4:24

Dear Netta it's good that you are wanting to read the Bible. When I first started Bible Studies I became very confused because of the Writers contridicting each other. I asked God for His Wisdom James1:5-8 which none of us were Born with and so need Proverbs 4:5 Jesus is now Leading me into all Truth if I'm not sure I ask Him and He confirms in my Heart and by Scripture. Yes, I think so, too. I'm a very exact person detailed and also caring and it's nice to know that God likes me - or my doings. I love people, I do paintings, I like to study and teach. Sometimes I notice God is there with me.

proverb 4 :23 is very perfect word from god

Hi Stangett, it seems like I was your confused in regard to some Scriptures, My confusion was mostly because of the contradictions with some who Taught it but I was ok with others. The Lord showed me the need to ask for His Wisdom which none of us were Born with Proverbs 4:7 - James 1:5 I than started to understand His Truth although I'm still learning the confusion is gone.
