We are in a battle till our last breadth. A spiritual battle that we need the armor of God. Receiving the Holy Ghost and being in Christ. Resisting lusts of the flesh and foul recesses of the heart that defile us such as: evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness, anger, wrath, malice, lewdness, filthy communication out of your mouth, uncleanness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, lie not one to another, etc.
Be ready to be hated by the world and looked upon as fools. Those who are lead to the Truth are the minority in this world. Continually being persecuted and tortured.
"If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."
"As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
"He said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it."
Only God truly knows evrything in our hearts. He sees what no other man sees, knows what no one else knows. Don't be afraid if you are still battling with sin as we all are. Show God how much you love Him by striving to follow Jesus Christ and repent from sin. Some of us will have fights harder than others will. "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."
God Bless us everyone! Love one another as He loves us!
"But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use and persecute you."
"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."
"For with the same measure that ye mete with it shall be measured to you again."
"Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted."
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
Praise the Lord! "In all thy ways acknowledge Him." God Bless!
The verse you listed but from many different bibles and beliefs did not all have the word "That" in it. This verse, in all the bibles listed quite simply says. " Dont tell lies to your brothers in order to cause fighting among them." We all know by the time we are in grade school that lying and gossiping is not a good thing. It spreads hate. And hate brings violence like bullying which we discourage greatly in our schools and always feel bad for the person being bullied as well as grateful if it is not our kids that are targeted by bullies. This includes cyber bullying.Which is deliberately trying to hurt someone by telling lies, spreading gossip, name calling etc.
and doing it with an audience which makes it a million times worse. Theres NEVER ANY GOOD REASON FOR ANYONE TO SPREAD LIES TO CAUSE HATE ANGER, VIOLENCE & BULLYING ." That's what God is saying. Being a Christian who ACTUALLY tries to always follow the rules of God & the bible I like to think about how Jesus would handle it. Could you see Jesus sitting on a laptop on social media typing out to the entire world lies or calling people names, delibertly bullying others. Do you see Jesus cheering anyone on that would do such a thing. I think not. Jesus had a crown of thorns pushed down upon his skull and nails hammered into his hands and feet & hung on a cross in the sweltering heat as people below called him names and heckled him. Can you imagine the incredable amount of physical as well as emotional pain he must have felt? Did jesus swear back at them? Did he call them names? True Christian's living a true existence according to Gods law should remember this next time they think it's ok to send discord about anyone even politicians through their face book messenger. Someday you will be judged. Not by Trump, but by our Powerful God who made each & every one of us in the entire universe. God Bless America and God Bless our World.
I am glad I have a God that is faithful and just. We are all broken and trying to do our best to be like Christ so often we try to do it on our own. I am thankful that the Bible reminds me that if we repent and ask God's forgiveness, He is there ready to forgive us. "Ask and it shall given unto you". Amen.
Wow. There is a lot of Life between your lines. As a Christian for the purpose of the Gospel I have only spent a few weeks here and there. Mostly have raised a family. My youngest is 14 and oldest is 19, everyone still lives at home which is great in my mind and heart. I have always made a living somehow related to food, whether in transportation, sales or these days, food manufacturing.
New Hampshire, twice. Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Maryland, Alabama, Wash. DC. When they were burning it down in '69. Drove all over when I was younger. My last 2 siblings, one is moving to Washington State and the other to Wyoming.
It's hard to think of not seeing them again. My grandson is here, that's all I can explain.
My 20-30's I was a draftsman and surveyor for the phone company. Seems like a whole other person to me now. I only know God had a purpose for my life. Everyone does.
Surety for a friend is like co-signing on the car. Putting your own credit on the line for someone else. If you feel uneasy in your Spirit, please pray about it.
I have bought a used car from out of state, having seen only pictures and the written description by the dealership. Does this verse apply in that I should undo the purchase now in the first few days and not let it stand, perhaps only to find the car a bad purchase, and faulty.
If you scroll down to the 1-100 pages of comment history, in past months; you will find many comments about the catching away (caught up in the clouds).
Removal of dead and the now living Church of Jesus. Write down all the scriptures given so you can study it too.
I don't know if I should forgive myself,it was a terrible thing to do and I know God Could forgive but should he ? I understand what you are saying,I'll try what you said about casting out any bad memories and ask God to help me forgive myself Thank you for your words and wisdom. May God bless you all
Apostle Paul ordered Stephan killed for evangelizing. Stephan saw heaven open and Jesus stand up, at the offense of his murder. I believe Stephan was taken then, so as not to suffer anymore. So was your baby. Who is alive now in heaven. God knows your pain and you must begin to have FAITH in His forgiveness. Without faith it's impossible to please God. The blood of Jesus has been poured out for all of your sins. Even this.
Feelings are not Faith. Your feelings declare that God cannot forgive this.
Another thing you need to know: satan is the ACCUSER of the brethren. He will accuse and grind you into powder if you allow it. He's counting on you to walk away from God.
Paul met Jesus by hearing only the next day. He was confronted and blinded a few days after. His life was changed forever. He wrote much of the New Testament! Many have been born again through him.
Do as I had to do: give your child a name and know there will be a happy reunion in heaven someday. There will be no memory of the offense. Why? Because the blood of Jesus has been shed over that memory.
You must turn on Satan and cast him and his demons OUT of your memories. Fear (a demon) hath Torments (demons that torture). That's who your enemy is. You make it easy for them when you self-condemn. 'Torments' is plural so you may have to do it, more than once. Satan is cruel.
YOU are going to have to be like that cripple man Jesus healed: He said, RISE, pick up your bed and walk home!
There is NOW no condemnation to those that ARE IN Christ Jesus.
Every time you hear that condemning voice in your head: you are going to have to cast out those demons, In Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Name, to go into dry places, forever.
You must fill up your mind with the Bible. Stay in the Gospels and memorize what Jesus SAID to everyone who was healed.
Be diligent.
It's way in the future, but someday you will be strong enough to help someone else get free from condemning memories.
Since you feel guilt and remorse of your past sin that's a good thing. That means you genuinely regret it, but if you confessed this and repented to God already then God has already forgiven you. Hebrews 8:12. The only step remaining is you forgiving yourself and giving that burden to God. If you refuse to forgive yourself, then you might ask: what Jesus dying for you not enough? Galatians 2:21 It is for everyone else, so why not for you? He loves you that much to die for you and forgive your sin even when you mess up, even when you know better, can you accept that? Do you accept his gift?
>I feel it's unforgivable
Let's challenge this statement. This is an assumption, because you don't truly know that. It's also inconsistent with the Bible. The Bible says all sins are covered except for only one, blasphemy of the holy spirit, and that's not what you did. If your statement was true it would also be true for others too, but its not. There are countless others who have also gone through this and feel 100% forgiven. If its true for them how could a different standard apply for you?
The Bible already made its promises so if you don't believe the Bible that is another matter. You're forgiven, wiped away, and if you follow Christ you this sin is forgotten: Hebrews 8:12. It takes faith to believe the Words of God and to apply them. It clearly says you're forgiven. Believe and celebrate that and go and 'sin no more'. John 8:11
I was saved before this happened, that's what has me worried.i know it's an abomination in the Lords eye.ive asked forgiveness but I feel it's unforgivable.
I was saved before this happened,I know this is an abomination to the Lord that's what has me worried I've asked for forgiveness but I'm afraid he won't forgive this sin
Yes you are a candidate for salvation. You must repent of all sins and come to Jesus for forgiveness. You need to start reading your Bible too. Open it to the Book of
John 3. Psalm 51
If you will go back to the opening of this website there is a section to learn the steps to salvation. You'll see a prayer you can pray. It's very complete and you'll be born again; and you'll go to heaven when you die. The good news is that your child's soul went to heaven; and is waiting for you.
You can start by reading these few scriptures: And then to the salvation page.
Isaiah 1:18
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 2:2
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
John 20:23
Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
Yes, God knows your heart. He knows when people are genuinely sorry and repentant of their sins. We all sin and God chose plenty of highly imperfect people for His special work. The man who wrote more books of the Bible than anyone else used to murder Christians. God can forgive anyone thanks to Jesus paying our debt. But we need to actively follow Him and genuinely repent of our sins in my opinion. Some people use grace as an excuse to sin and enjoy living in the world, but that's not following Jesus. If we don't follow Jesus we will go to hell.
Amadeus, I don't believe that Job 17:12 actually says that, with due regard to your Father's understanding. When I study that verse, indeed the book of Job, I see a suffering man in every sense of the word. And to add insult to injury, his 'friends' often gave him atrocious advice & were of little comfort to him.
So this verse is a small part of Job's appointment to continual suffering. In verse 11, he dismayed about the days given to him, even his thoughts & ambitions for the future, were in pieces. So in verse 12, I believe he intimates that his 'friends' added to his troubling thoughts, that kept him up all night ("turned night into day"), even his daylight hours were like darkness because of the darkness in his mind ("light is short because of darkness."). Then as you read on, his hopelessness is exacerbated, as he thinks of his nearness to death.
If I should use a verse to describe what you've said, I could refer you to Proverbs 6:6-11. These verses speak about the Sluggard whose laziness takes him through the night into the next day, thereby assuring him of poverty. The Ant is cited as a creature that has more sense & work ethic than a lazy man. But if you're seeking a Scripture for people who need to stay up at night (e.g. medical staff, security, warehousing, etc.), then there is nothing in the Word, nor is there anything to suggest that reversing the order (i.e. sleep in the day & be awake at night) is wrong. Sometimes, this is necessary.
This chapter written by Solomon is to give counsel in view of man's wickedness. He gives a series of proverbial sayings concerning wisdom & foolishness. Verse 26 probably refers to a loose woman (harlot). Solomon also refers to her in his Proverbs 6:24-29. Sadly, he uses the female gender to demonstrate his point of seduction, when both genders are equally responsible in the decisions they make. Solomon says that this is "more bitter than death": the seduction into sin's traps. However, he says, both righteous men & women are a rare find (vv 27,28). Not a nice picture at all, but again showing us that our hearts are "deceitful above all things & desperately wicked...." ( Jer 17:9).
A true Christian would not even consider killing her own baby for any reason. Only God has the right to take a life away. Of the ten commandments, number 6: Thou Shalt Not Kill. Also Proverbs 6:16-19: Please read all three verses: God detests shedding of innocent blood. Don't listen to the media because they are evil and do not know Christ. You must read the Word and obey it. The baby has a right to live just as all of us. We must submit to Christ's authority over our lives...every one of us.
Be ready to be hated by the world and looked upon as fools. Those who are lead to the Truth are the minority in this world. Continually being persecuted and tortured.

It is very deadly wrong to defend sinning in any way .

"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."
