Sorry to peek in before next week but I am wondering if God has drawn very, very close to someone on this site very recently. Stay encouraged and glory in the Cross!
As I am looking forward to a reply from Earl I want to make another post. No rush Earl you have stated your situation.
As Adam has stated in another post I cannot see ALL being saved in the end as how many Scriptures there are about people going to eternal damnation or "Hell". Some can't see a loving God be like this to people for say only sinning in the span of their physical life. Though I don't think anyone can perceive how serious sin is to a Perfect, Pure, Almighty God. Also in that it is not the pleasure of God that any should perish. The Lord will not turn away any that truly come to Him. Then on the day of Judgement when the books are opened. People may be shown how many times in their lives God has tried to lead them to Salvation in Jesus Christ and repentance of sins. Maybe just repentance before the Lord came to earth. All up to Him as He is fair.
So here are a couple more Scriptures I find that solidify this. Even at the end of Isaiah 66:23-24. Speaking of all flesh coming to worship Him though just the next verse it speaks of how bad it will be for those who are against Him. Daniel 12:2, Psalms 9:17, 2 Timothy 2:12, Hebrews 6:8, 1 Peter 4:17-19, 2 Peter 3:7. Our names written in Heaven which does not seem to be for all Luke 10:20.
How Jesus Christ spake of a "Hell" and tried to warn people of it a lot. A place of "wailing and gnashing of teeth". Eternal punishment as those who are saved eternal life. The same Greek word used "aionios" for "everlasting or without beginning or end".
The story of Lazarus and there being two places separate from each other after death. Luke 16:20-31.
Weather it be sheol, hades, gehenna, tartarus, or just hell I want nothing to do with any of those places. I believe God loves us so much He sent us these warnings in that we do not have to go there. Though if any reject Him He will not force anyone to be with Him.
A good saying. "If you are born twice(born again in the Spirit) you die once, born once die twice".
Just for a little reply to your question. The word LORD is the translation of the four Hebrew letters YHWH usually pronounced YaHWeH. In newer Hebrew JeHoVaH. The name of Almighty God translated to LORD over 6k times.
As even the Hebrews were really unsure of exactly how to pronounce it. Not wanting to say it wrong because of how pure He is they usually just say HaShem which means "the name".
The word God is the Hebrew word Elohiym which is a plural word used for diety or God. Translated over 2k times as God.
As He has many names those are just a few.
I hope that helps a little and if anything is off maybe someone else may chime in.

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;
2 Chronicles 7:6

Serve the Lord with gladness - It is your privilege and duty to be happy in your religious worship. The religion of the true God is intended to remove human misery, and to make mankind happy. He whom the religion of Christ has not made happy does not understand that religion, or does not make a proper use of it.
My years back in school age 6-7, every other day was my time to read a chapter as said. Psalms 100 still is my very true chapter of the Bible, some people just don't have the true meaning of GOD, in there hearts. People who have God in there sole & heart love him & fell the love of God. May God bless all who read this.
Dear Linda; This is the Truth about CHRISTMAS! The church of Rome began formally celebrating Christmas in the 4th century; on December 25 in 336 AD, during the reign of the emperor Constantine. As Constantine had made Christianity the effective religion of the empire, choosing this date TO POLLUTE THE TRUTH with paganism/ pagan celebrations. It is one of the Babylonian practices Rome adopted and deceived Christians. ( Jeremiah 52:31) Saturnalia, the Roman feast for Saturn, was associated with the winter solstice. on a fixed date, 25 December. SUNDAY? On March 7, 321, however, Roman Emperor Constantine I issued a civil decree making Sunday a day of rest from labor-FALSE SABBATH( DANIEL 7:25)
CHRISTMAS? The church of Rome began formally celebrating Christmas in the 4th century; on December 25 in 336 AD, during the reign of the emperor Constantine. I agree with you 100 I read every morning the 40th chapter in the book of Psalms. It got me through many trials and tribulation of my life situations. Amen
Praise the lord and his wonderful name he can do anything from helping someone who s hungry to bringing a bill down cause it s to high to pay I love the lord with all my heart he has helped me change my life around amen
to serve the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is to accept the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made Calvary to pay for our sin. to accept Jesus Christ is to have elevating life John 11:25-26 . to not accept Him is Death.
Many people wonder why they should serve the true God, Jehovah Yahweh . I think these 5 verses sums it up nicely. Vs. 2 implores us to know our God . The whole chapter encourages us to worship him and find joy in him. Why? Vs. 2 states a plain answer: He created us. Then vs.5 gives this reason: He is Good, Loyal, Loving, and Faithful Forever. Doesn't that draw you closer to our God!?!?
Short Psalm : only five Verses: Yet it says so much:
Heaven is a noisy place: Chidren: serve Him with gladness: presence with Singing:
know that He is God: He made us: Not we ourselves: His People: Sheep of His Pasture:
Enter into His Gates with Thanksgiving: Courts with Praise: Thankful unto Him: Bless His Name: The LORD is Good: MERCY is Everlasting! His Truth Endureth to all Generations!
I love this psalm it's open gladness in my heart I am able to serve the Lord Jesus is my strength my life he is my rock my defense my friend redeemer my all in all and I serve him in fullness of my heart bady and soul,
Every day we should live these scriptures. We need to wake up in the morning making a joyful noise cause he counted us worthy to wake up each day. We should Bless the LORD name each and every day.
I love it, I love it , I love it.... Psalm 100 is a psalm of praise! God want us to praise him! he want us to be a happy people! my heart is overwhelmed in me reading the praises from his people....I just love the presence of God and his word is powerful and alive...he is the lifter of my head and reading his word renews my mind...Christmas is near....Jesus is the reason for the season!

Can I infer from Ps.100 v 3 that the word LORD has 'greater' meaning than the word God?
Thanks.
Hopefully these you will enjoy. As I don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for, hope these couple are ok:

Your knowledge of Scripture is better than your knowledge of music. Mozart was not deaf. Beethoven was deaf. :-)
Peace & Love in Christ
Let's not be undercover Christians anymore.
When I listen to Mozart, I just wonder how God could bless anybody that is deaf with that kind of talent? Mind boggling.
