They go to the same place as we all go. To the judgement seat of Christ. To be judged for the good or the bad we have done while alive.

It is our lifestyle to Praised God & exalt Him on high above & beyond everything on Earth.
  • Sunday Alaka Ogechi on Psalms 118:28 - 4 years ago
Thou art my God, I will exalt thee. Thou hast exalted me, and as far as my praises can do it, I will exalt thy name. Jesus is magnified, and he magnifies the Father according to his prayer, "Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee." God hath given us grace and promised us glory, and we are constrained to ascribe all grace to him, and all the glory of it also. The repetition indicates a double determination, and sets forth the firmness of the resolution, the heartiness of the affection, the intensity of the gratitude. Our Lord Jesus himself saith, "I will praise thee"; and well may each one of us, humbly and with confidence in divine grace, add, on his own account, the same declaration, "I will praise thee." However others may blaspheme thee, I will exalt thee; however dull and cold I may sometimes feel myself, yet will I rouse up my nature, and determine that as long as I have any being that being shall be spent to thy praise. For ever thou art my God, and for ever I will give thee thanks.

This verse keeps my children and I going throughout our day to day lives.

Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever Amen.

It's always better to put your confidence in God instead of man, man is limited in what he can do. But God can do exceedingly, above and beyond any and everything that we can hope for or dream of. It is our duty to praise and honor and reverence our God at all times. Reference on psalms 118.

Read Mark 4 and Luke 4. If you're going into spiritual battle with Satan you will need to find a scripture or confront against what he's doing to you.

IT IS WRITTEN: you shall not tempt the Lord your God!

IT IS WRITTEN: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

IT IS WRITTEN: I am the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus!

    Find your scriptures.

If you're fighting demons, call their names; the Holy Spirit will reveal their fruit.

    Like deaf and blind spirit

    Familiar spirit (follows families curses)

    Spirit of Heaviness (Depression)

    Hindering, Harassing, Fear + Torments

That is part of your Armor of God.

    Ephesians 6

    Scriptures are your arrows.

Come back & tell your testimony after.

The promises of the Lord are Yes and Amen indeed. I see Him perform His Word in my life;promoting me when my enemies thought it was over.

Indeed, the stone that the builder's rejected has since become the heard of the corner. This, only the Lord can do and it is really AMAZING!!!

The Lord, be Glorified forever and ever, Amen!!!

I love this psalm, do not put your trust in man, I will always put my trust in god because he will never let me down as man would, no matter the circumstances he has never failed me yet, he does not judge me or makes me feel bad, god loves us no matter what we just have to repent of our sin
  • Sally on Psalms 118 - 5 years ago
Being thankful to God for his goodness and mercy. All good things come from God. Ungratefulness is of this world. Sin and sickness is of this world. Being rich in good works that's the richness that's worth having cause it's from God. A good heart is from God so we should give him thanks. When we're ungrateful we lose the things we didn't appreciate. Our heart can become deceived.

Good overcomes evil. Psalms 118:1 O give thanks unto the LORD for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. Give your life to Jesus Christ and serve him. Micah6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? Satan s time is short. Revelation 12:12

Not to take life for granted. The Lord is in control, so put your trust and faith in God. He shall not lead you astray, but will direct your path and help you to overcome your fears.

Psalm 118 verse 8 is said to be the centre of the "Holy Bible". Its the most powerful verse in where "God is the Centre of our Lives", It was God who made Adam and gave him the Breath of Life, That was given to the man in a state of holiness. He had everlasting life at the time of that giving, Which tells us that when he ate the fruit of desire this man brought death on himself. So Trust God.

The Word blessed me today. I will bless the Lord at all times because his mercies endure forever.
I am happy because God is not a man and I can always, always depend on him. If God said “it”
    He will make “it” good!

I read somewhere that Psalm 118:8 is the center verse in the Bible. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. So true. Yet we all tend to put our trust in men at times. Something we need to fight against. For example, we may trust our doctors but ultimately healing comes from God. We may trust our pastors, but need to check what they say with the word of God.
