Discuss Psalms 118 Page 9

The whole this chapter encourage me when I'm down.

for sure and for really his mercy endureth for ever,
it's God that helps his people, people or even princes fails cause they took are helpless and selfish. But God is kind, loving and forgiving.

I love this passage. It reminds me that every day is a gift and all praise and honor belong to our Lord for all he has done for us.

I am so blessed by the word such as this, it gave me smile and my heart jump, with boldness I stood up and say I will live to declare the Name of the Lord.

I have lived my life to declare, only God should i trust...of all the things i have seen...i have no refuge or rescue whatsoever if not the Lord, if the Lord was not with us, my enemies would have devoured me... I chose to trust HIM even in death for in him i will live

This scripture was used with me a lot when I was laying on my death bed

Through Christ our Lord,I fear no death,and I will not die because he is within me.I shall live an everlasting life because he protects me.For he is the Lord who heals any kind of disease.The situation will never be the same again.Amen

this is a true fact for life, God is the only one to trust in all our lives and that means for all things as well whether be it a good or a bad situation .......

What does beseech thee mean

MY LORD IS PERFECT "AMEN

This particular scripture speaks with clarity. That only what we do for Christ, we shall live, and what how we do unto others as though they were our gods, we shall not live on. God is a great God, yet a jealous God and will not have any gods before Him!

Hello Grace, Amen! You shall not die but live & give God the glory for the things he has done. I was moved by your testimony of praise. All sickness is not unto death, but that the glory of God may be revealed ( John 11:4) This reminds me a sermon that was preached at a Church that I attended in the past, the title of the message was..." After This God Gets The Glory" and that is what I believe with you and for you. Also I heard in my spirit as I'm noting this ( Psalm 119:49-50) Read it and just get happy, and of course ( Isaiah 53:1-5) and believe the report of the Lord! Amen He sent His Word and healed them ( Psalm 107:20). Can't wait for your Praise report to come through, so THANK YOU JESUS RIGHT NOW FOR HEALING MY SISTER RIGHT NOW!! BY YOUR STRIPES SHE IS ALREADY HEALED!!! To the glory of GOD!! HALLELUJAH!!

am fighting with the disease which need only God to intervene.so the verse reminds me that am not going to die with it instead i hav to prepare myself to declare the works of God coz am going to be healed in Jesus name .nice verse

it is a promise that the lord has given to me. and by faith it shall work for me and who so ever that beliveth in Christ.

I think it means I will realize my desire from God in spite of those that wish me ill or in spite of their jealousy.

Psalms 118:8 - It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. I too have made this mistake, Jackie, some things should be just between God and us.

I was under severe chastiment from the Lord, overall the enemy can only afflict me but cannot exterminate me. Death has no hold on me even if the situation at hand is extremely dire!

This chapter of David's is also similar to Christ in that each of them shared so many similar personal attributes but also shared the same oppression without a cause. We also will share with them the same problems, but as God delivered David from Goliath,He will deliver us from our own giants. What a Mighty God we Serve!

Believers, I think we must exercise patience in life and put trust in the Lord than instead of putting our confidence in man.

I'm reminded of this scripture in every challenge. Nowhere in the Bible are we told to take our burdens to our Earthly friends. My faith takes on another layer of trust with every circumstance. I talk to the Lord all through the day. Sleep at night? Always. If I awake I "count my blessings instead of sheep" and, as the dated song says, "I fall asleep counting my blessings." As another old song says, "I will trust in the Lord 'til I die." No friend on this planet could ever be as available, or wise as He.

I love this scripture so much. Right after we had our son, they terminated my husband’s job. How does one rejoice in such a situation? It takes only the hand of God. Thanks to psalm118, we rejoice everyday by giving thanks to the almighty father above.

I love this Psalm because it is so encouraging and it really spoke to my heart this day. It definitely gives us reassurance that mankind should only put their trust in God of the Heavens because he is the only one who can save us from our Trials and Tribulations, and give us that Divine Assurance that we must work towards building the kingdom of God, and then one day, we will receive our reward if we stay true to the Holy Word of God.

It gives boldness to believers who trust in God.

I think this is one of the Bible passages every believer must memorize every day. It is a faith saying word of God, you can imagine a jobless graduate wakes up every morning to confess that word when obviously he knows he has no job. To me it is one of the powerful word of God in the Bible, furthermore it says I will rejoice and be glad in it, honestly it takes a giant faith to confess this because it is the same Bible which says every day is filled with evil, so why rejoice and be glad? But if truly you are a child of God and a man of Faith you will recall that it is this same Bible that said in John 16:33 that be of good cheer I have overcome the world. This is a vital reason why we need to rejoice and be glad. It is an awesome word of God.

If you are born again, any attempt to reject you will place you at a better position. Where people reject you, our lord will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations. Congratulations.

Although I feel like I have no fight left in me, this verse has truly remind me that God is still within me and I'm not dead. Stop trying to do things on my own and in my own way.

Trust in the Lord God Almighty for there is VICTORY in him... I love you Jehovah
