I think it's a verse of shared goals, shared vision, shared race and shared responsibility. Let's take Jesus Christ and the 12 disciples before Christ came to them they were not only scattered like sheep's but more over each one had his/her own views about the world God and creation, till they met the son of man whom vision and goal is to make known what is new of God and over throw the hypocrisy inside the house of God, already his spirit is one with God but to carry out the vision, the message and the new kingdom he rose the twelve to enlighten many to come after him.

In Unity Paul and Timothy could preach the same Christ who doesn't manifest in the same form to both

Sister GiGi, every Word God has ever spoken WILL COME TO PASS.

This is why it is SO IMPORTANT to understand, and believe, MOSSES and THE PROPHETS.

The Spirit of Christ prophesied that ONLY ONE THIRD (vessels of honour) of creation would be CALLED in this age of GRACE (the DAY OF THE LORD).

Ezekiel 5:1 .....then take three balances and weigh, and DIVIDE the hair ....( Revelation 6:5-6)

Ezekiel 5:2 Thou shall burn the THIRD PART in the midst of the city ....(you are the new Jerusalem of God)

Ezekiel 5:3 Thou shall also take thereof a FEW IN NUMBER, and bind them in thy skirts ( Psalms 133:2).

Ezekiel 5:4 Then take of them (the few) and cast them into the FIRE ( Malachi 3:2-3), and burn them (the few) in the FIRE; for thereof (the few) shall a FIRE ( Psalms 104:4) COME FORTH unto the House of Israel (you are the TRUE house of Israel).

Obadiah 1:18 And the house of Jacob (Jacob was the shadow; Christ is the TRUE) SHALL BE A FIRE, and the house of Joseph (Joseph was the shadow; Christ is the TRUE) shall be a flame, and the house of ESAU for stubble ..

Obadiah 1:21 And saviours shall come upon Mount Zion, to judge the mount of ESAU; and the KINGDOM (of GOD)(CHRIST IN YOU) shall be the Lord's.

Zechariah 13:09 And I WILL bring the THIRD PART THROUGH THE FIRE ..

Revelation 8:7 ... and there followed HAIL and FIRE .....

Isaiah 28:2 Behold, the Lord (the Father ) hath a strong and might one (CHRIST), which as a tempest of HAIL and a destroying storm ....

Isaiah 28:17 ..and the HAIL shall sweep away the refuge of lies ..

Revelation 8:8 ...as it were a great mountain BURNING WITH FIRE ...

Daniel 2:35 ...and the stone (CHRIST) that smote THE IMAGE (of the beast)( Revelation 13:15) became a great mountain (Mount Zion) ...

Revelation 9:18 By these three was a THIRD PART of man killed, by the FIRE, and by the SMOKE, and by the BRIMSTONE, WHICH ISSUED of there MOUTH.

The LAKE OF FIRE and BRIMSTONE comes out of the MOUTH, THE FIRE AND BRIMSTONE ARE THE WORD'S OF GOD.

  • WHY PEOPLE REFUSE SALVATION - In Reply on Psalms 133 - 3 years ago
    Romans 1:22

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

    Ezekiel 34:8

    As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;

    Proverbs 16:22

Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.

    Luke 24:25

Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

    Proverbs 15:14

The heart of him that hath understanding seeks knowledge: but the mouth of fools feeds on foolishness.

    Proverbs 1:7

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

    Hebrews 3:19

So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

    Matthew 13:58

And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

    Hebrews 3:12

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

    Romans 11:30

For as you in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy...

    Romans 1:17-28

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made [people], even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are WITHOUT EXCUSE.

Mishael comment: Not making a choice to receive salvation through Jesus; is a choice. Read John 3 carefully.

    Hello,

I don't think I've posted this before but it is important and I just feel to state it to help others.

What came to me a while ago was that the generations from entering Babylon to Christ is supposed to be fourteen generations as per Matthew 1:17. When you count the three steps of fourteen generations starting from Abraham the first two are fourteen and the last one to Christ is only thirteen. It has been known some Jewish people use this to discredit Jesus of Nazareth being the Christ.

After looking into this the answer was brought to light by a man who studied this. When we get to Matthew 1:16 we see "Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary". This is where this genealogy fails as the break between Jacob and Mary. We know this is not correct as the genealogy of Joseph the carpenter, husband of Mary, is in Luke 3:23. The father of Joseph is Heli not Jacob. The answer was found in original Scriptures of Matthew which was the only one of the four Gospels to be written in Hebrew. The word "husband" used in Matthew 1:16 is incorrect. As he had pictures of the Scriptures. It is the "father" of Mary. As Joseph was a normal name that her father and husband shared. Which in turn links the genealogy back up and makes it fourteen generations as it should be.

Again, I just felt to post this as to me it is important for us to know this. As the way it is written people can use it as a weapon against Jesus Christ.

Hopefully I have brought this to light for some as others may already know this.

    God Bless.

    Hi Sacha,

I didn't mean any harm, I was just saying some use that verse as comfort for a lost little one.

We may have had a misunderstanding.

Charge that to my head not my heart.

    God bless you.

Circumcision meant something to the Israelites in Davids time ,which is what and when i was talking about .It meant something to David and Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and many others .
  • Sacha - In Reply on Psalms 133 - 3 years ago
S Spenser ,hi ,if you read my original question you will see that it has nothing to do with any age of accountability but it is about wether or not some one has entered into a covenant relationship with God ,i have family and friends with all kinds of disabilities and health restrictions ,my husband and myself included ,many of them are total atheists , the question isnt about that .

    Hey Brother Adam.

    I agree, point intended.
  • Adam - In Reply on Psalms 133 - 3 years ago
I agree with your comment. I don't believe 2 Samuel 12 refutes anything about God allowing children to go to heaven. Some children die and God is a fair judge whether they were old enough to be accountable, or healthy enough, or have enough opportunity. Those who live and die in remote native islands like north sentinel island who never read a Bible or hear about Jesus simply are going to be judged fairly by God.
  • S Spencer - In Reply on Psalms 133 - 3 years ago
    Hi Sacha,

Here's a verse where it's often used as the maximum age of accountability.

Numbers 32:11. Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:

Numbers 14:31-35. But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.

But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.

And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.

After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

    God bless you

    Thank you
  • S Spencer - In Reply on Psalms 133 - 3 years ago
    HI Sacha

I believe all children that die before the age of accountability goes to Heaven. how can a child turn from something he is not fully aware of? Or how can he turn to someone he his not fully aware of?

Isn't it you who often says "God loves you and wants you with him"? What about little children?

But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. """For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required:""" ( and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.)

What would you require of a child?!!

What about those suffering autism ?

Is God the God of mercy?

    Yes he is.

Perhaps someone else would like to touch on this.

    God bless, Sacha

    Hi Sacha

My reply was bringing attention that verse 23 ( But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.) "That verse is a commonly used verse where we see a child going to heaven, having not reaching the age of accountability yet". And yes it is used that way.

In verse 23 King David is answering his servant when the child was sick he fast and wept but when the child died he ate bread "no more mourning" If he was concerned about the child not living long enough to be circumcised that would have brought on more mourning and weeping as he did for Absalom after his death.

2 Samuel 12:21-22. Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.

And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?

But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

Chapter 11:27 we see King David took Bathsheba as his wife and she bore him a child, Chapter 12:14-16 you see the Lord has struck the child with sickness and King David went and lay upon the earth and fasted.

On the seventh day the child died, This don't say that the child was 7 days old, Its how long David fasted.

Scripture don't give us the age of the child. We don't know how much time past between VS 11:27 the child birth, and vs 12:18 when it died.

Besides none of that matters. Circumcision was never for salvation, the book of Galatians is clear on that.

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. and Romans. But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
  • Earl Bowman - In Reply on Psalms 133 - 3 years ago
Sacha, May CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

In the discussion with S Spencer about David's infant son. If he had died on the nineth day after being circumcised on the eight day. What would have made his death have a different outcome. Circumcision was only a outward sign of being an Israelite. He went to the grave awaiting resurrection as David also knew he would. Only the children of Christ resurrection will never see death or the grave.
  • Sacha - In Reply on Psalms 133 - 3 years ago
Hi S Spencer ,i believe you are in error , David fasted and prayed to God for his son because he wanted his son to live long enough to enter into a covenant relationship with God by being circumcised on the 8th day . The baby boy died before he was old enough to be circumcised and David says : i shall go to him (in the grave) but he shall not return to me (be ressurected ) . If you are able ,please explain to me why you believe this baby went to heaven ,thankyou in anticipation .
  • Natalie - In Reply on Psalms 133 - 3 years ago
This answer gives me some understanding of Ps. 133:2, whereas before I had difficulty with it. I like your making an analogy of Jesus, referred to in the Bible as the head, and Christians as his body. If we died to ourselves when he died on the cross, we are part of his resurrection also. We are thus fully allied with him. Moses anointed Aaron for the priesthood in the wilderness, and thus Aaron was holy in God's sight for this task. Likewise, we are part of Christ's body, and so the oil with its fragrant combination of spices is symbolic of the fact that we are anointed with our head. Interesting comment you made about Aaron probably glad that the fragrance from the spices would probably be something he would like to stay on the garment. As the Holy Spirit resides in each believer, the spirit of Christ dwells with each member of the body, symbolized by the oil running down the entire garment in the anointing ceremony of the high priest Aaron. As you say, we need Christ and we need other believers. The anointing of Aaron was a symbolic picture of this.

Thank you for that thoughtful answer.

    Hi Sacha

That is a commonly used verse where we see a child going to heaven, having not reaching the age of accountability yet, what ever that be. it shows the tender mercy on the little ones and those who don't have the ability to grasp the need of a savior and the plan of Redemption. whether a child or some mental Incapabilities.

    Thank you.
  • Sacha on Psalms 133 - 3 years ago
Hi ,to any one out there who for some reason might think that people who have not entered into a covenant relationship with God ,either by baptism for Christians or circumcision for Jews ,will either go to heaven or be ressurected ,please read 2nd Samuel ch12 v15-23 .
  • The Anointing Oil on Aaron39s Robes - In Reply on Psalms 133 - 3 years ago
.. And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister as priests to Me. (NASB) Ex. 30:23-25, 30

The oil used to anoint Aaron was holy anointing oil.

The holy anointing oil was a mixture of four spices in oil. The spices were myrrh, cinnamon, cane, and cassia. The spices were mixed together in olive oil. They were different spices mixed together to make a wonderful fragrance - a holy oil. What a picture of unity. It is a picture of very different people, yet people who are united.

    Conclusion:

When these spices were mixed with oil, the oil became holy oil. It was not the oil that was holy but the mixture. By themselves the spices could not make a holy oil. God did not ask for three measurements of myrrh, but required four different spices. God could have used just one spice, but He did not do that. It is a great reminder for us that we need each other to provoke one another to love and good deeds ( Heb. 10:24). The body of Jesus Christ is made up of all types of people.

Jesus is our High Priest. He sits at the right hand of God. Who ever lives to make intercession for the saints of God. (That's us)

He is the head; we are his body. The anointing oil upon his head, runs down his collar, upon everyone who is become a part of his body.

My comment: we ought all to consider each other parts of his body, that form the whole body. Treat each other accordingly.

We are responsible for the Light that he bestows upon us. We find that light in the Gospel Books of the Bible. To the revelation that He gave to his apostles. To the revelation that his apostles gave to us, the new believers. The Body of Christ.

Don't despise. Dwell in love. Preach and teach in love. Correct in love and mercy. Always reveal the Fruits of the Holy Spirit, which the Son of God was crucified, then rose again..

That Jesus gave to His Church, the Body; on the Day of Pentecost.

Aaron would've wanted for the perfume to stay on his robes.
