    Psalm 15 has given the entire universe all the requirements to Heaven. It is very pertinent to know also that it is a warning for those that are living contrary to verses 1 to 5 of the chapter to please desist or have their eternity spent in hell fire. Be blessed of the Lord as heed accordingly, amen.

    v.21 Riding the fence. The Israelites of old did not abandon GOD. They wanted their cake to eat too. They wanted to assimilate the ALMIGHTY with baal who is none other but Lucifer and his world.
    GOD is a jealous GOD and he will not have any part time lovers, see Exodous 20:5. "you cannot serve GOD and mammon" you will always end up despising one one "side of the triangle". There is no need to lie to yourself- Psalms 15:2
    What will it be? Christ or Barrabas? GOD'S "well done" or the world's pat onthe back?
    What will GOD do to such in-the-name-only-christians who want to hold hands with the world? He will vomit you out of his mouth-Revelations 3:15 and then tell you to depart from HIM,that he never knew you- Matthew 25:41
    "Come now let us reason together,saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet,they shall be white as snow;though they be red as crimson,they shall be as wool.

    This Psalm is a testimony of the type of people, that will abide in the sanctuary of God. Walking uprightly, working righteously, speaking the truth in their heart, not putting their money out with excessive interest, not gossiping about their neighbor, or taking up a reproach against their neighbor, and giving truthful testimony in a courtroom that hurts. God is pleased with these types of people. Integrity is the manifest destiny of these people. May the Lord so direct our hearts.

    @Heather,
    Verse 4 talks of those that engage, and finally discover that keeping that engagement would be hard to them, it may cost them a lot, in terms of effort, money, ownership or anything elseā€¦ But they made a commitment, they will still keep that commitment. Those are the ones God is very pleased with and will ultimately honor, as stated in verse 4.
    God bless you.

    In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the Lord; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change. Psalms 15:4 I don't understand what this means? A bad person is despised, He honors who fear the Lord...why would anyone fear the Lord? He is one who is good to us. Swearing to your own hurt and not making a change. Is this talking about people who are in bad situations and they know it and they don't get out of them? Or is it talking about people who behave badly and know it and don't change?
