God is so faithful that He keeps to His promise always. This verse{ Psalm 16:6)is one of the most wonderful verses for God's children. Indeed, My God had placed me in a pleasant place that even when the enemy planned with some workers against me, my good God brought me out, promoted me and placed in a goodly inheritance. Praise God.
At a point in my life,GOD didn't answer my requests, but he made me to concentrate on other things for a while, then I later had so much at a time,I can confidently read psalm 16:6 and smile.Thank you Jesus.
It means there is a path of death. This confirmed prob 14:12and prob16:25 which says there is a way that seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof is the way of death. Path means road or way. And Jesus says in John 14:6 iam the way the truth and the life. It siimply means the path of life referred to in Ps 16:11 is Jesus the savior. This had been made know right from John 10:10 where Jesus catigorically declared that while the thief came to kill, steal and distroy, He has come to give life in abundance. Sir it is time to embrace life fully as we embrace Jesus with the whole of our heart
psalms 16:6 the lines have fallen for me in pleasant places behold i have a good heritage, ''that my portion in life maritally, financially, ministerially etc is a good one no matter the devil's agenda that me i have a good destiny not a struggling destiny says God-the way maker who lifts someone from the dust to sit with kings Amen
Our God is everywhere,
we need to work according to his will,
that is, having a right standing with him, then we can stand firm against the wiles of the devil.
Lord,I always believe that you are the creator,in your word, you say you will never live me nor forsake me,you are always by my right hand side,in truth and sprit, father always be my help, lord see me for I am in need of you O father,I believe that, the devil is a liar I will not be the tail, but I will be the head, father envelope me O God of mercy, let me gain my promotion,in Jesus name I pray Amen.
I have a goodly heritage , my grandparents served The Lord all their life and raise 10 kids 26 grand kids ,etc. My Mother is 91 and still doing fairly well. I believe this goodness has been passed down for several generations I am blessed
I love this verse because God is everywhere, so we need to acknowledge Him,praise Him,worship Him in truth so that when we call Him n0thing will move us
Anywhere in life the forces of darkness draw their boundaries thinking I'll be greatly affected negatively, “JEHOVAH jump protocol” will make it the most suitable spot to embrace me with such blessings that my inheritance will be great.
"For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption." ( Psalm 16:10)
I will do my best to retell this from memory. There was a pilot who was shot down flying over enemy territory. He was able to parachute out of his plane, and land on the ground. He began to try and make radio contact to be rescued. He knew this was risky, because the enemy could pick up his transmissions and locate him; yet, it was his only chance to save his life.
He kept making transmissions, yet, no answer. Though his transmissions could not be received, there were aircraft out searching for him. They had been flying and looking and listening for any communications; yet, they had come up empty.
He had survived some four days, continually trying to make contact; yet, no answer. On a search mission, the airplanes searching for him had used up all their fuel looking for him. They were to turn back and head home. One pilot decided he would fly closer into enemy territory. The other pilot told him to turn back that he would not have enough fuel to get back. The pilot said he felt he had enough fuel, and he could not leave knowing he would be leaving a man down, who might still be alive. He flew over closer into enemy territory. As he did, he heard a transmission; it was the pilot who was shot down. He told him he heard him, and he had his location, and he would be back. The enemy had heard the transmissions and were quickly seeking to locate the down man. A helicopter came to pick up the down pilot. As he was running to get on the helicopter the enemy was closing in. As the helicopter was taking off, the enemy began firing on them. The helicopter managed to get away.
Later a top official was called and was told "it was a pick up." The top official had tears in his eyes as he retold the encounter. His soul expressed the relief that they had got their man safely out of the enemy's territory and out of sure death.
Sometimes you may be shot down, and find yourself behind enemy lines. You may be on the radio, and hear no one answering. You may need "a pick up."
Sometimes you may be the one in the plane risking even your on self, placing yourself over enemy lines to seek someone down. Sometimes you may be the one watching and waiting to see if those you've sent get the job done.
In this case, there was a "pick up." What if there is no pick up? What if no one hears your transmission? What if others give up, or turn back from the search? What if even God lets you lie? We see in Revelation 11:7 that when the two witnesses have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
Even if God allows His believers not to be delivered from certain deaths, we are already "picked up." We walk in life even behind enemy lines even unto death. He has already picked us up. He has promised to "pick up" our body of flesh one day.
In every circumstance, we may not presently be delivered from death in our body. The two witnesses were raised from the dead three and an half days later. Jesus raised from the dead three days later.
Whether we live or we die, we who are in the Lord are alive. God has picked us up and quickened us by His spirit. He can pick the soul up and make it alive in death; He will pick up this mortal flesh and make it immortal some day. He will pick up heaven and earth and make them new some day.
Everyone was full of emotion to have accomplished the rescue mission for the pilot successfully. What joy there will be in heaven when God sends Jesus for the final pick up of all of His soldiers.
Until that day, keep the helmet and all the armour of God on, and stay in the fight.
