Wendall, may the Spirit grace you with understanding, the scriptures referring to the leaves of the tree are in Isaiah 6 and Ezekiel 47 and Revelation 22. These are prophesies about the Sons of God (us). Christ is the Tree of Life; therefore, we also become trees (of life). John 15: Abide in me and I in you. At our physical death we (children or the resurrection) shall put on Christ (BECOME ONE). 1 Corinthians 6:2-3 ......the saints shall judge the world......know ye not that we shall judge angels... the leaves (us) of the TREE (Christ) shall be for the healing of the nations (all mankind).

Psalms 22:27 All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.

1 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the saviour of all men, specially those that believe.

1 Corinthians 2:9 For it is written ( Isaiah 64:4), Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither hath entered into the heart (mind) of man, the things God hath prepared for them that love him.

October 22, 2020, my granddaughter, Naomi Grace Haywood, turns 15 years old today. We have a tradition of reading one's "birthday Psalm" as part of our birthday celebrations and I wonder: Lord, why have you chosen this for Naomi's birthday? That the Lord's return for us is near is evident: may He make us, especially those we love, ready that we may endure whatever is coming upon us. Bless you Lord Jesus and blessed be your Holy Name!

HELL, do these scriptures prophesy HELL. God loves his enemies as he teaches us to love our enemies.

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Psalms 22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember, and turn unto the Lord, and all the kindred of the nations shall worship before thee.

Psalms 65:2 O Thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.

Psalms 66:4 All the earth shall worship thee and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.

I Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, WHO IS THE SAVIOUR OF ALL MEN, specially those that believe.

    HELL OR NO HELL

Amos 4:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Psalms 22:27 All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.

Zachariah 14:7 But it shall be a day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening it shall be light.

    Deuteronomy 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

Psalms 22:16-18 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Isaiah 9:5-7 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

    Isaiah 11:2-9 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, [though] thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

John 1:41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

John 4:25-26 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

Messiah came. On the day he was crucified, well over 100 prophesies about him had bee fulfilled. You compare those prophesies with the recorded historical account of that time.

You are correct. The entire scene at the Cross is amazing.

I could not find the Scripture in Job that you were referencing, but dust is mentioned numerous times concerning the product of physical death.

I am under the impression that what Jesus was doing when he stated "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me" was that He was TEACHING to all that could hear.

If you want to know what Jesus said to them, read ALL of Psalms 22; spoken 1000 years before the Cross. Now THAT is AWESOME!

When Jesus addressed His heavenly Father He would always use the word "Father."

The OT phrase "that He hath done this" from Psalms 22:31 is equivalent to the NT phrase "it is finished" ( John 19:30).

Yesterday in Bible study I mentioned the rejection of Christ as he spoke in ancient Israel.Today I read this psalm and see,if in only some small part, the depth of hurt to him,in the midst of agonizing physical pain. And since this psalm predates his time here on Earth,he already knew,if only in word, what he would face, yet he gave himself for our souls.A love beyond degree.I thank God to be of the seed and tell forth what he has done.

Please read Philippians 3:2 Isaiah 56:10-11 Matthew 7:6. Those who are shut out of the kingdom of heaven are also so designated, Revelation 22:15. Persecutors are called dogs Psalms 22:16. As the dog was an unclean animal, the terms dog, dogs head, dead dog, were used as terms of reproach or of humiliation. Also referred to as very wicked and evil people.

This was the first line of Psalm 22 and any Jews at the cross would have known this. It is a messianic psalm. He was saying He is the Messiah.

Being the last time, that spirit of antichrist is in many: but the godly run not nor advise such. It is written, The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. The fear of the Lord drives away sins: and where it is present, it turns away wrath.

You See the Abomination of Desolation Spoken of by Daniel The Prophet Stand in The Holy Place. Run.(Matthew24:15-16)Abomination is The Antichrist Standing in The Temple. Immediately After The Tribulation of those Days---The Lord Will Send His Angel's to Gather His Elect( Matthew 24:29-31) The Temple is Built Before The Rapture/Tribulation is:Satan Attacking Believers(Wrath of God Revelation 16:1
  • Ivy Johnson on Psalms 22 - 5 years ago
I think the third temple will be built after the Rapture of the Church. The anti- Christ will defile it by sacrificing the wrong kind of meat.
  • Bruce on Psalms 22 - 5 years ago
Vanessa Statement is a Little Ambiguous. Will The 3rd be Built Before or after The Lord's Return? The Lord Himself Will build it? Is it physical or spiritual?
  • Mark Diffin on Psalms 22 - 5 years ago
Bruce, since Vanessa seems to have disappeared, I will answer. She must be referring to the 3rd Temple in Jerusalem (The 2nd was destroyed by the romans in the year 70) This is a little strange, since Christians don't believe that animal sacrifice will return, whereas the Jewish people certainly do. If you have any more questions about the Jewish viewpoint I will be happy to try and answer

Vanessa: Which Temple are You Referring to?
  • Vanessa on Psalms 22 - 6 years ago
Bill when the Lord comes again he will build the new temple, in Israel, you have to understand the wording of the Bible, the fire is the Holy spirit, not to consume one but to change ones heart, David here has "faith" in the Father. to deliver him from his enemies as i say God never sleeps, and trust in him , after all he sent his only son to be crucified for us sinners, is there any greater love

Alex,True righteousness is imputed here and now upon our belief in the finished work of ChristRom4:11Physical death removes believers from their sinful flesh1Corinthians15:42-53.The Kingdom of God will be physically here on Earth for 1000yrs.Humanity fails always. The work of Christ is not a down payment, leaving people to finish payment for salvation.
  • Alex on Psalms 22 - 6 years ago
Mild Bill Death does not take away our evil Adamic sin nature,iIts being bornagain of incorruptible seed which are the words of the new covenant. The living words of the book of life.True righteousness has to come via his seed which are the words of God.and its nothin short of his kingdom that is gonna be within us.While we are yet living this corruptible will put on incorruptiion AND IMMORTALITY
  • Alex on Psalms 22 - 6 years ago
Wild Bill i love ya but you seem to imply we will attain no TRUE righteousness till we die and leave this world, 2 nd coming is gonna make us kings and Priest Christ is gonna be born in us while we are yet alive,The mystery of the kingdom of God is Christ in you, HERE ON THIS EARTH, JOHN SAYS THE KINGDOMS OF THIS WORLD HAVE BECOME The kingdom of our lord and his Christ,Humanity is gonna travail.

Sinful nature of believers is destroyed upon death to this world.Rom.7:24 25

Bill Jesus never wanted to call fire down from heaven and destroy anybody,The N.T.is much different then the old,When James and John wanted to call fire down from heaven and destroy the Samaritians Jesus rebuked them saying th son of man came not to destroy mens lives but to save mens lives. But he said he came to bring fire on the earth which is a spritual fire ,his baptism of the H.G. N FIRE GBU.
  • Mild Bill on Psalms 22 - 7 years ago
Alex,"And Elijah answered and said unto them,If I be a man of God,let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty."2Kings1:12 Literally not spiritually, your quote does not prove a spiritual meaning to fire. The nature all of us obtain from Adam is destroyed, only for believers, when we leave this life in the flesh.
  • Alex on Psalms 22 - 7 years ago
When James and John wanted to call LITERAL FIRE down from heaven and destroy the samaritians JESUS REBUKED them saying the son of man came not to destroy mens lives but to save mens lives, which proves his FIRE is not LITERAL but a Spritual fire which is the H.G. BAPTISM, CONSUMING mens evil Adamic nature. God is spirit but God is also LOVE and also a consuming fire to destroy our satanic nature.
  • Mild Bill on Psalms 22 - 7 years ago
Death is the great separation.First we die to this world, the second death is being cast into the lake of fire, separated from God forever. The sacrificial death of Jesus, the innocent of sin,was accepted by God the Father,as payment for sinners."There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."He has done this, his love for you

And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD. The LORD is my strength and my shield my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth and with my song will I praise him.
  • A disciple on Psalms 22 - 7 years ago
Bill; Why do you attack Dan? And what are you talking about, "Jesus attributes this saying to Abraham.." ? You don't really think that Abraham didn't hear God's words or believe he could raise the dead, do you? And how does that have any connection to what Dan and I were discussing? Maybe you should read them again! You might get something different, and not be so hasty to condemn the guiltless.
