I believe in the Lord n this very verse has brought me thru ment of times

David express comforts, hopes, love and satisfactions. He feels that because God is the shepherd of his life, he has not fears because God leads him. He feels God anointed him with a precious liquid which oil. David is in peace with god. The green pasture is a metaphor, meaning tranquility,, purity. If we have faith, we abide in the arms of our God.

This is assurance for me that whatever my life it takes, it would be pleasing, because God will always be with me. And I will not afraid of what tomorrow would bring...Thank you Lord Jesus Christ...

God will take care of you as long as you stay in the will of God. God's perfect plan is for man to come unto him all that are heavy laden or heavy burden and he will give you rest, take him at his word and he shallbgive the desires of your heart.

I love this one and I have it memorized...this verse has gotten me through so many sad times, When I had surgeries, when I had a lung collapse, the death of my parent, the death of my beloved husband of 30 years. God is there and he does see you through your problems. He takes care of us .. have faith.

Its a very comforting Psalm. It reassures me when I feel afraid I read it and I know my Lord my God is there to protect me from all evil. Thank you Jesus for your goodness and direction.

You are now without sin and he guides you in the ways of righteousness that you may honor him and give glory to his holy name. 4 Death once ruled over your lives because of sin. But now you have redemption through our Lord and need not fear. Our Lord is always near. His holy word guides and comforts us.

1 Our Lord has long been called the shepherd or guide of those who follow him. He is the one who satisfies all of our needs. 2 To lie down in green pastures means you're being fed by him. Your knowledge of him is green and growing and you find your rest in him. If water is his word that cleanses us then waters are the people who follow his word and you will have peace.

Wilbert I pray God will comfort you on every. The Lord will be with you. Like in the psalm His word and His presence will comfort you. The word of God applies in every situation and our great shepherd Jesus Christ will always take care of us.

It is a big comfort when you have enemies that are inlanws If your spouse dies they blame you for it. Even tho you are saved by grace. Mines went out of there way and screamed murder. But that is a lie. The 23rd and other scriptures is a big comfort when you walk thru the valley of the shadow of death. The Lord commands us to fear no evil, because he is with us.

Well I wouldn't say it's magical but it has helped me out of some very scary situations where I was facing uncertainty.I have read it at 2 to 3 times a day for the last month

The air is so crisp this morning- can't you see Then why let the darkness of pollution ruin the air you breath- Can't you see the heaviness of the smoke and debris swirling in the air you now breath. Remember that the Lord is our shepherd. The shepherd uses his rod and his staff to protect us and guide us. When he is guiding us along and we stray, as sheep often do, he gently taps us with his staff to correct us and get us back on the right path. For sheep, it is comforting to know his shepherd is nearby.

Marquisha: For me, this verse says that the LORD (Jesus) leads me wherever I may go. But also that HE is leading me where HE wants me to go. In the phrase: "I shall not want", the word "want" means "lack". In essence, "I shall not lack". Meaning HE is ALWAYS with us and we may freely receive of HIM all we open our hearts to. In HIM we have a converted soul, peace, comfort and protection eternally.
