there are a number of text's in the bible that talk about death. Some that say the dead know not anything. on this subject I believe we should compare all verses on the topic and compare them so we can get the full intent . I believe in death as a sleep that we will be resurrected from and meet with the Lord in the air to be with Him forever more. May we all be encouraged by His precious promises.

Even in death we are not alone, absent from the body present with the Lord!!

Every time I read Psalm23 I remember my mother. A few hours before she departed from this world for heaven, she sang this Psalm. Praise the Lord!

23rd Psalms provided me the comfort I could not find anywhere when I lost my way after my dear mother passed. He restoreth my soul like nothing or nobody else could..and now I know for myself It is He who leadth me!

God is so awesome,gracious and merciful (He) God allows us to come to the throne room of "Mercy and Grace" even when we make mistakes and then we can always go back to him with a repentent heart. And after all is said and done (He) God is so forgiving He still will prepare a table for us in fromt of our enemies.

This verse has followed me through my birth up until the present day. Just to give some insight, I am a Japanese male that was adopted by African American parents (1953). This was during the time of the Civil Rights Era. It was trying time of extreme mistreatment by those that were misguided. The roads that I have followed have been crooked and bumpy. God has watch over me and protected me, even from myself. It is true that, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. ( King James Bible "Authorized Version", Cambridge Edition )

Psalm 23 tells us shows us an imagery of the loove of GOD for us using the shephered. This psalm shows how we are always made whole wwith the love of God. Goodness and mercy shall flloŵ us. I love this psalm.

The Lord's goodness and mercy shall follow me, tells us that His mercy will always speak for us, when God's mercy begin to speak for you, you get what you are not qualified to get because of His mercy.
His goodness simply mean,you will have good health,everything concerning you will be good,only if you follow Him like a sheep.

This gave me joy the moment I started reading it! When I go home I will share it with my childern!

Psalms 23 is awesome. It's a reading that my grandparents once said that will watch over me when they are long gone. To this day it continue's to watch over me & my family.

Psalms 23 gives me peace.

God is my everything thank you for giving me a loving heart LOVE is GOD !!!

This passage wad taught to me and several of my cousins when we were young teens and preteens. Our grandmother insisted that we learn it. Now a few decades later, I truly know and understand its significance. It has recently become my soirce of peace in a nagging storm. This is what My Lord can, will, and has done for me. I am eternally grateful and will offer praise.

This chapter has been a part of my life wen i was 6years old and has kept me going in tymz of troubles.i thank God for my parents who were believes wen they wr stil alive and that has keep me till now

This verse communicates REST! When life throws you situations of unrest, God will give you rest in the midst of the turmoil, and literally provide moments of quiet reprieve and peace and the assurance that he is in control

let all men know this , that i love the lord am grateful for all things big and small, full of humility, willing to work always in his behalf, only in his service will I always be

This entire chapter has been part of my life since I was 16 years old as of today I still relate back to this chapter.

the lord will provide all my needs and lead me down the right paths.

The chapters reminds us as christians how good it is to believe in God.

The first verse is so amazing.....to me it means that the LORD

my mother recently asked me to read this chapter when I had some issues in my workplace. verse 2 spoke to me that the water might be rough but you being his flock he will guide you to still waters and Green pastures. Amen

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want. It means the Lord was Lord over everything.

This brings tears to my eyes, on verse 4 . As when Jesus was on the cross He didn't have His Father with Him. Oh how I love Jesus

The Lord is the owners of our soul, He is there for you, if only you can put your trust in Him and obey His voice. For those who known His name we put their trust in Him, Jesus never fail.
