This verse shows us that David was a true believer he even want to be checked if he is still on the right track,does his heart and mind tell him what the Lord would like him to do.

Psalms 26:2 (The context of the chapter; David is establishing his clear conscience before God. He declares God's loving kindness and truth.)
V.5 "I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked."
V.2 (I see it as David making a request, not a challenge.)

Psalms is one of my favorite it all about praise and worship with open heart and open mind not just with the lips but with all our hearts.

I no not to take him lightly. I so want him to examine me. I need to examine myself. knowing to pray for that of what I need from God .Amen Please I struggle with my walk with GOD .

In this book, be sure you are aware and realize who you, (lil ole you), are challenging before you present verse 2 into action to He who is Great!

To be chasten, cleaned, purified right now for the glory and honor of GOD is so rewarding for the benefits of eternity with HIM, to sit at HIS feet, to be in HIS glory is well worth being examined by HIM. This verse is not to be taken lightly. To ask the Lord to examine me and try my heart is very serious I must be prepared for the revealing of things that need to be taken out of my life and replaced with new from the Lord !! To receive correction and possible chastisement . I must depend on my Lord to help me to rid myself of unclean actions and words in my life. The grace of my Lord God is sufficient . I will and can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Amen !!!! Examine Prove Try Am I ready for this !!!!!

David was asking the LORD to check him out, and what the true motives of his heart or mind were. We need to be in his same position. We don 't want to be a fake, but follow God for genuine reasons, not just for show.

I am thankful and grateful God is so great and cares so much for us and about us.I was raised in church and taught right,Love hard work dedication are the way.In highschool peer pressure a need to feel connected trying to fit in I lost some of the light and dabbled in darkness.I am sorry and ashamed of this choice,now having made it to age 55 by the grace of God I am healing and choose to return to God.I know now I belong to him.I am proud and have abundance because he and I are closer now than ever before.Only through him are truly happy and sound,healthy and what he expects is for us to trust daily living for him our family other Christians spreading his joy.He is the truth the light and the way.Awesome!

Our God is gracious and merciful all the time

The enemy will try to bribe us like he tried to do with Jesus. He want us in relationships that rob, steal, and kill. The devil knows his time is short but, the children of God time will be for eternity with Jesus!! So, like children we must hold on to to God unchanging hand because he is our protector .
