"Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah." Psalms 62:8 KJV

John is speaking to believers who are in the progressional stages of "sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience & sprinkling of the Blood of Jesus". they're learning & putting on Christ in ever increasing measures, yet they have not yet attain to the baptismal of Christ were self is crucified & they are "dead unto sin" but are in the working out of their salvation with fear & trembling, revealing the true fear of the Lord is working within their hearts, to depart from all evil.
In this ever increasing measures of growth in Christ/Grace/Light/Spirit 1John 1:8 is refer too, John commands them to 1John 2:1 keep repenting, remaining tender to the motions of His Spirit, with a heart devoted to the fear of the Lord until the appointed time of the Father when we are baptize with the baptismal of Christ, " thoroughly purged". We having experientially learnt the struggles of Rom 6 & 7 and have been brought to Rom 8:1,2 & their is no condemnation because His Word has
Isa 55:11, go & sin no more, we have been brought through 1Pet 5:10 in Christ, born again of the Incorruptible Seed & thus become incorruptible too, by the Cross/ Spirit / Grace / Light shining in our hearts & received John 1:12
through all these experiences in the working out of our salvation & in our continuing to perfecting of holiness in the love & fear of God, ever growing in Grace, we can say with John, 1John 1:1-3
I like you was sincere, etc, but I was sincerely wrong, oh how I struggled, the veil always separated me from my Beloved, there was no pure unity of the faith & oneness that Christ prayed for, my conscience bearing witness against me, no matter how I cried, repented, fasted, prayed or studies the letter, & walk accordingly, yet, the veil was still hung between us & why? 2Cor 3:6 I remember it quiet well, a yoyo of an experience.
1 Cor 15:34,45 true knowledge is given by the true Grace of God who appears bringing salvation to all mankind.
Ronald, have you ever had an unction that cross your own will, telling you not to do or say something & show you what to do or to say? & if not heeded to, condemn you for it? Or maybe you were in a tryst state, & say or did something & later Holy Spirit/ Grace convicted you of wrong? This is the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, Grace/Light/Anointing we have received & appears within us, & if minded & exercised is the daily Cross & is not a lie, abide in Him & in the steadfast confidence continual exercising of it, will eventually set us free from the law of sin & death. Received by Luke 10:42Psalms 130:5"the word of His Grace, who words are Spirit & Life" Psalms 145:12-18Psalms 123:2Psalms 62:5 meaning silencing all thoughts & imaginations & in stillness of soul, wait. Psalms 46:10 and He will appear Hebrews 9:28 . Believing that it is He appearing to you is faith, hearing the Word of God in the heart, that Paul preached & this faith purifies the heart & gives victory over the world.
2Cor 3:16-18 this stillness & waiting upon the Lord is turning to Him, who is Spirit, whom takes the veil away & gives us knowledge of Himself, 2Cor 4:6,7 setting us free from the bondage of sin, we know the Truth & the Truth set us free & transforms us into His Image. Light begets light, in whom there is no darkness at all.
causing you Philippians 2:13Hebrews 13:21 "obviously this is not sinning".
Good morning....Let me talk about that New Creature for just a Min...Which is the H.G. that is new to us but old to God...Mat.13 :52...Jesus said they shall bring forth things out of their treasure new and old....Which is our new innerman the H.G. as that which is born of the spirit is spirit...Our new hearts and new spirit....That New Creature...The H.G....Nothing availeth anything in Christ Jesus but a New Creature....not circumcision nor uncircumcision....only a New Creature which is the H.G. the Child of Promise...The Regeneration and multiplication of Christ Jesus is us via his precious seed the words of that New Covenant...I will know them all impling a baby Christ the H.G. The Child of PROMISE...And the only Elect....We the Church answers to the Elect lady but the H.G. is the absolute Christ the Elect Son....The bride is a joint heir with Christ the bridegroom....The Elect son who is heir to everything the father has....All that the father has is mine and all mine is thine....Simply b/c they are the Elect Couple to inherit the Kingdom...But unless you receive the Kingdom as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in...This New covenant is a birthing Covenant....Thats y he has to know us....We marry our son which has been born to us the H.G... Isaiah 62:5...Thats y Isaiah is saying as a young man marries a virgin so shall thy SONS MARRY THEE...As the bridegroom rejoices over the bride so shall thy God rejoice over thee....Our son is the H.G the son of man...The regeneration of Christ Jesus in us via his seed his words...Our sons is the H.G. There are parallel verses that seem to correspond with several verses here. We are reminded of the hypocrisy of the Pharisees in verse 4 when they tried to ask Christ questions to trap him
( Matthew 22:15). They called Him "good teacher" and said that He was a man of integrity as their pretext for showing respect before they asked Him about paying taxes. This could also be seen on other occasions as well.
The mention of vanity is repeated in Ecclesiastes that Solomon wrote some time later. (verse 9).
Finally; we see the warning about not setting one's heart on riches in verse 10; which is something that Solomon ignored; again as one of the themes in Ecclesiastes.
Verses 2; 6 and 7 all mention salvation and God being a rock. Surely; Christ is the Rock of our salvation as well. In this case; we could say that salvation could mean spiritually and physically being saved from David's many calamities. The theme of a refuge is seen more than once in the Psalm as well. This can perhaps be our mental solace despite outside circumstances that would otherwise overwhelm us.
Finally verse 3 reminds us of Jericho; and how the wall collapsed on the city (apparently archaelogical evidenced suggests that it fell inward).
Welcome to the discussion, I think I may have seen some posts from you, possibly.
I think I agree with your statement about the Babylonian captivity because of: Jeremiah 34:8-22, There's also: Jeremiah 22:3,4,5,17, Ezekiel 22:7,29,
Daniel prophetic dreams & explanations, I try to line up with other scripture when I can.
However when you say "America" I have learned many people outside of USA, more often of the "America" Continents, will reference themselves as American, especially when immigrating into USA, likewise other Continental countries call them American, USA often called The States; I've learned in recent years. Being this is a globally active website I try to clarify USA. If you're speaking only of USA, I would like to comment to that. I feel it unfair to group all U.S. into that assessment. However many Psalms 62:10, treasonous, tyrannical leaders within industry, Ezekiel 46:18, banking, loans, education, political, etc Isaiah 5:7-8,, definitely fit into that. Quite possibly we, most of us, fall into the category of the oppressed more than the oppressors = that GOD will deliver, protect & bring justice: 2Peter 2, Psalms 37, Psalms 12:5, Ecclesiastes 5:8, Isaiah 54:15-17,
Hopefully these last few scriptures are encouraging
REPEATING QUESTIONS TO OTHERS - In Reply - 2 years ago
A Book by Author Dan Alice,
"A man is born as a child , grows to adulthood , and consequently enters old age , when he deteriorates and reverts to a childish state. (proverb)"
As we become older we may need someone else to make these decisions for us. This is the concept of "once an adult, twice a child." Same as children need parents or guardians, we may age into a period where we must be reliant on a caregiver.
BIBLE examples:
Psalms 62:11
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man [born again]. I put away childish things.
Job 40:5
Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
Job 33:14
For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
Not in Bible scripture however, I feel the idea in many ways is: Psalms 37, 2Corinthians 4, Noteably 2Corinthians 4:16,17, 1Peter 4:7,12,13, 1Peter 4:17-19, 2Timothy 2:3, Matthew 24:13, Mark 13:13, 2Thessalonians 1, Psalms 30:5, James 5:10-11, Psalms 62:5, Proverbs 20:22,
Psalms 9:10, Psalms 18:2,30, Psalms 56:3, Psalms 71:5, Isaiah 12:2, our trust & hope should ultimately be in GOD
* Psalms 118:8, * Jeremiah 9:4, * Micah 7:5,6, Luke 12:52, Psalms 27:10, Ephesian 6:2,3, Proverbs 23:22, people even most dear can betray, abandon, abuse etc. There was much abuse, betrayal, within King David's family & those he served. 1Samuel 21, 2Samuel 15, Saul his King, his children, wife, etc. Starting with his calling, 1Samuel 16:5-11,
Psalms 20:7,
Psalms 62:2,5,8, 2Samuel 22:3,31,
Job 4:17-21,
Psalms 17:7, Psalms 25:2, Psalms 31:19,
Psalms 40:4, Psalms 44:6, Psalms 49:6,7,
Luke 14:26, trust GOD 1st & only yet honor them, this may be when there is contradiction to GOD's will & commandments. Even Jesus faced those struggles with earthly parents & family. Mark 3:20,21, Mark 3:31-35, John 7:3-5, Luke 2:42-52,
"Should I not trust my mother, my father or my pastor."
My answer to that, given no information into regards of anything specific I would say yes! "Naturally" you should be able to trust those love ones. And those love ones should play a role in your life in a biblical perspective.
This is where it is important that you study scripture to be able to use discernment. If they don't seem to line up with scripture, you bring those scriptures to them and reason out of scripture.
I ask you to pray & I will also pray for you, for protection & clarity & discernment in these matters.
I had a friend years ago that had said 'her mother would say something to people she didn't like about fire to cause them fear' a while after that me & that dearly loved friend had a deep discussion about a medical targeted abortion. I pleaded with her not to be afraid but trust GOD, I had told her how so many things that were wonderful about her that would be in that child. She had already had the abortion. Sometime around that she would say "she had dreams about me & house fires, dangerous & was concerned for my family " after saying that to me multiple times, then no longer speaking to me. It literally bothered me over the years, causing unwelcome concerns. Then I would remember what she previously disclosed & GOD's power & protection. Matthew 5:44,
Peoples words spoken over someone can be curses or blessings but GOD says Edify one another & not to curse. Here are some scriptures: 1 Thessalonians 5:8-11, Romans 14:19, warning, Psalms 62:4, Psalms 109:28,
Remember the promises spoken over us by GOD. : Genesis 12:3, Numbers 22:12, Deuteronomy 11, Nehemiah 13:12, Proverbs 3:33,
1 Thessalonians 5:1-23, Act 1:7-11, Daniel 2:20-22,
Psalms 16:7, Matthew 21:31-41, Daniel 7:23-27, 2 Timothy 3:1-7, Isaiah 33:6, Jeremiah 8:7, Ezekiel 12:27, Daniel 7:2-27, Daniel 9:2-27, Daniel 11:2-45 -continues- Daniel 12:1-4, Luke 21:5-36, Revelation, the whole book,
Why does the Psalm say one thing and you ask your question using a synonym for that one word "riches". Don't confuse those who can't be anything but literal. You might be confused with someone trying to twist scripture looks so many do!
I wait for the joy of my soul. Teach me to wait scripturally and worship you as befits you Lord. You are my Rock and my Salvation. I shall not be greatly moved. I wait for thee because my expectation is from you.
V7,8 "In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah."
The Lord is Power and Mercy! Praise the Lord for His benefits upon us daily. Help us to invite others to come under the comfort and peace of the wings of God. Help the Lost find the Redeemer's abundant mercy and grace. Then they too may expect the mercies from Him alone.
How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence. In God is my salvation: the rock of my strength,
This is a great verse for what's going on today in this world there are so many people full of hate right now walking around angry bitter every single day I'm seeing it more and more where is the love where is God's people at? We must not let this world take away our joy and our happiness these are hard times we live in but we must stay positive we must be happy and show love to others we have to stop the bitterness we have to stop the angry attitudes and hatefulness and show love to everyone
A great message for the totally depraved corrupt democratic party and all their friends. Enjoy what time you have left, hell is rising up to meet you. You are all fools, because you say there is no God.
I pray for everyone on this KJV Bible web site , I'm glad to share a bit of my experiences and things I have learned from the Lord thought the Bible and experiences.
I am concerned that there is so much confusion and darkness even in so called Christian groups etc .
I'm not trying to do anything but be faithful to the Lord , I'm not looking for money , followers fame what ever !
Let me encourage anyone to keep seeking the truth and don't be afraid to admit you where wrong, God already knows .
It's human nature to run or fight the light . It's not easy , but just submit to the Lord and trust his word seek mercy and you will find it !
Because He really does everyone of us , Jesus demonstrated that on the Cross !
Speak these out with confidence every day until they start building you up in your spirit. Memorize some.

Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
My friend, it is so easy to live in the natural that is, living in the world understanding things and choices without the following of the Holy spirit. Even mature Christians sometimes fall short . Always pray and ask God for wisdom and knowledge keep the faith, and study God's word bless you in God's name in Jesus.
We should always trust GOD at all times in good and in bad,in wealth and riches..and we not set our heart on earthly things or in what we arquried pocess..but we should alway trust and rely on GOD ..
