    In this chapter, I noticed that David meditates on God early in the morning and at night. He made a habit of renewing his mind in the Lord

    This psalm helps me to remember when trails come and they will. I can go and find comforter and peace in the presence of the Lord. When I have tried everything else I can come to the garden where my Lord awaits for me. See he said that in His presence their is fullness of joy, my joy is in Him and Him alone. I can come to my Lord even in the mist of my trouble mind and I find great hope and love and I can sense His presence right there with me. My soul thirst for you as in a dry and weary land, when troubles of my spirit have overwhelm me I can go to find renew strength and peace. This psalm along with the 23rd psalm re***ures of my peace and joy in the Lord is complete only in HIM.

    When you are going through tough times don't stop praising him and don't stop talking with him because it is in those tough times that we desire to hear from God the most.

    @Marcus,
    That section says:
    “9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
    10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.”
    There can be 2 meanings for the expression “a portion for foxes”:
    Either seeing one’s enemies killed by the sword in the battle fields and their carcasses become meat for foxes.
    Or God judgment (the word of God is a two-edged sword) standing against them, they are exposed to attacks from the devil (wolves, foxes, roaring lions, etc..).
    God bless you.

    I am reading from the new King James version and in my view it says to me that my soul thirsts for God and my flesh longs for him. My mouth shall sing praises unto you because you have been my help and my salvation. My soul follows closely behind Him and His right hand upholds me.
