Diana. Jess is there, he has always been there and will never leave because he knows your heart and you're trying. I say to you don't try surrender yourself to him completely and he will do the rest.

He loves you soo much because you're special you're his child and as a parent loves his children, Jesus loves us his children. Don't force it just trust him and believe in his promises. I will pray for you every day because I confess that he's already knock the door of your heart and you have opened. Just say this words. Welcome my Lord to my heart, forgive my sins I confess you're my lord and savior amen.

Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?

You know, Jesus stands at your door knocking, for you to let him in your whole life. Receive him as your personal Savior.

Open the door of your heart and rededicate your life and future to Him.

When he came to earth as the Lamb of God, he stepped out of his role of equal person to the Godhead to become the Son of Man. He set his power aside so he could win souls to God; teach His disciples (students) to carry on the faith after He went to the Cross to be crucified for OUR SINS.

I ask myself daily, what have I done today to tell others about Jesus, and help out my fellow man?

Christianity isn't about getting Saved and doing nothing after that. Our lives should change from ME, to helping where we can to comfort others and maybe lead them to Jesus too. Your testimony is very valuable to someone who knows nothing about it.

Just be yourself. True Humility, like Jesus has, is doing for others what they can't do alone.

I want everyone to go on YouTube and watch Christian videos on Spiritual Warfare. Our near future is going to be full of it. We have to learn about a Real Devil that has a will and uses it to hurt, or even kill people.

Satan is here to Steal, Kill, and Destroy. He steals our peace, safety our jobs; he kills our feelings till we're so depressed we can't leave the house; he'll destroy anything we hold dear; it's easy for him to destroy people with drugs, sex and alcohol. He could care less if you're suffering.

    Fight Back now!

Pray these scriptures out loud, until you know them by heart.

    Luke 6:18

as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed.

    Luke 9:11

But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing.

    John 8:36

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

    Acts 5:16

Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

    Romans 8:11

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

    Romans 8:2

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

    2 Corinthians 4:10-11

always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

    Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

    James 5:13-15

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

    1 Thessalonians 5:23

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

    Isaiah 41:10

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

    Hebrews 13:17

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

    See 1 Corinthians 12:28 also.

The Laws of this Country forbid Polygamy.

It's not necessary to dispute it. You can Google the penalties yourself.

If we speed in our car; we get a ticket. ETC

Civil Law is to be obeyed, as much as the Ten Commandments God have to us.

You know God spoke to me through the word the other day. He brought me to Joel 1:14 Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD, . And I fast regularly for numerous reasons. I guess I was just being kind of blind to what God was trying to tell me. Thank you :) Sometimes even when it is right in front of our face the Lord will send someone to confirm it again. Thank You again for your obedience.

Wow! Praise God for divine appointments! Even over the internet states away from one another. I do not believe their are coincidences in Christ. You hit a couple of things on the head for my situation. things I did not even utter to you. Thank you sister for your encouraging words in this time of need. God is an on-time God for sure. Thank you for obeying the Lord. I felt that :)

Sharon, you know when we come to the end of ourselves, there's nothing left, BUT GOD. He has always been there - He's always waiting for you to cast all your cares upon Him. In fact, that is the first verse that came to mind, 1 Peter 5:7: "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." But it's one thing to say that, but how can one do it when the dark clouds of pain in our earthly existence overwhelms us?

First, we need to know that our enemy, Satan, wants to have a 'field day' with us: the more he can keep us miserable & weighted down with cares, the greater is his joy. He will do absolutely anything to keep us from looking to & trusting in God - He would rather us wallow in our griefs. So verse 8 of the same chapter, tells us to be "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world."

So, if we understand that the 'darkness' in our souls is because that is where Satan wants us, we need to resist him with our faith. 1 Jn 5:4 "this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." So it is the practise of our faith that gives us victory. The armoury given by the Holy Spirit ( Eph 6:10-18) is for our use in combat. And for you right now, use your Shield of Faith, the Sword of the Spirit (read & study the Word & using it against Satan) & Prayer (much prayer praising God & asking for strength to find peace & rest in Him). When Satan sees you are not alone but coming in God's Power in your hands, on your lips, your faith, he will flee. And when there is victory & your joy returning, don't slacken off thinking Satan has gone for good; he's never far & that is why our faith is a great warfare, but we never fight it alone & always thank the Lord for the victory. For your family, your healing & your sense of worth, the Lord will restore when you focus only on Him.

Nina: my brother-in-law, an associate Pastor, was so ANGRY at me doing astrology charts on his kids (my sister wouldn't let him kill me); He stood up in his church and asked everyone (over 100 people) to pray and fast for me ONE day.

My life was taken apart, like a peeled onion. Layer, by layer; till I had NOTHING to rely on. All gone. My job moved to another state and I didn't. I was in terror of the future. God drops in and the rest is

His-Story about me. It was years before my sister confessed.

Point is: prayer and fasting works! Going to your church and asking the congregation to pray and fast (food, media, phones) will work. If you're family agrees, then do that. God sees your heart. Ask and then receive it! Stand on it every day.

Collect all the healing scriptures you can find; or google healing verses. Write them down; highlight them in your Bible.

Then speak out: IT IS WRITTEN: and out loud...say the scriptures. Better yet, get the children to say them with you.

Demons of infirmity (sickness) will leave you , the family and the house! Keep doing it because I know it works. Angels listen and record your spoken prayers in the Book Of Remembrance. Remember praise: hallelujahs, Praise the Lord my God, so be it, amen!

Lastly, tithe happily (give the children a dollar to put in), just what you can.

    2 Corinthians 9:7

    Giving money establishes Trust.

After Lastly, let your family all understand that your family is sheltering till July 4th. If they come over anyway; have a box of face masks by the front door. I have a big family too; be strong; no kissing. I babysit when the parents work (for free! Lol) so I have to be super outspoken to family sometimes. :D

Please pray for my husband. He is addicted to drugs and can not seem to let go of them. He believes he is going to heaven when he dies, but makes no real effort to get on the right path. He is always half way in and half way out. He knows the word and he knows what is right. God has promised his deliverance and I am standing on that. Please help me stand on this promise and join me in prayer for him.

The Bible says to ask that you may receive.

Call 1 800 700 7000 to see if they can help with what you need.

The way to financial peace is to Tithe what you can, to your church. If you CAN trust God with your money, He will help you. Its a way to build mutual trust. He says to give it cheerfully and not with tears.

I know it sounds crazy, but it works. Build your trust on Gods Bible. If you don't have one: Goodwill has them, cheap.

I know you are scared; just lean on Jesus to save you. This may not work if you haven't yet made Him the Savior and Lord of your whole life? Be straight with Him. He knows everything about us already.
  • Mishael on being a Follower of Jesus - In Reply on Psalms 70 - 4 years ago
I learned (as a new Christian) in the college of full bore head on crashes. It didn't get better till I turned off the tv (all noise) and read some chapters all the way through.

It's like a checking account with $2.00 in it. Can't do anything with it :/

Start in Proverbs. Lot of wisdom there. Move into Ecclesiastes; Romans, 1+2+3 John in the back of the Bible (where you learn how to be forgiven for daily mess ups.

The Bible is a guide for daily living. It's sorta like the tv remote control: it takes you to where you want to go. Skin deep or ocean deep.

When you understand who God really is,

You'll want to find out more about him. As a Christian, you have the Holy Spirit as your Teacher. Ask Him to teach you about Jesus. His favorite subject. Always build time in your day to spend an hour with Him.

Our minds are carnally geared (flesh pleasing). Your only defense is knowledge and a rock hard WILL to go forward with Jesus!

Don't wait for someone else to build your faith like LEGOs. You do it: scripture by scripture.

You may be experiencing spiritual warfare.

Take a walk through your home with the Holy Spirit and ask Him to help you get rid of anything that could be an idol. Why?

Demons hang around and inhabit the objects.

    Read Acts 19:19

It might help to watch some Spiritual Warfare videos on YouTube. You'll be much better informed when you sense trouble nearby. It helps you pray for your kids and family.

Forgiveness is taking your hands off the necks of those who hurt you.

Wholesale forgive. It will release you: and release them, so God will work on their lives.

I know it's NOT pleasant; but being obedient has huge advantages.

Not many churches teach on this. Take notes on the teachings and find them in your Bible. In time you'll be able to help others get free too.

Re-dedicate your life to Jesus. Go to 1 John chapter 1 verse 9, as often as you need to. In fact read the whole book. I do because I need to hear it often.

Please pray for me. I struggle a lot with being single. Please pray that Jesus Christ will help me find a wife. I need God's mercy and help with finding the lady who the Lord wants to be my wife and helpmeet. Please pray that Jesus Christ will show me mercy and let me get married.
