Verse 6-10. The rise and fall of nations and empires are in this Psalm ascribed to God. He exalts one and puts down another at his pleasure.
In this he generally uses instrumentality, but that instrumentality is always rendered effectual by his own agency. When nations or individuals are prosperous, and glorious, and powerful, they usually ascribe all to themselves or to fortune. But it is God who has raised them to eminence.
When they boast He can humble them. In these verses God is considered as the governor of the world, punishing the wicked, and pouring out judgment on his enemies. The calamities of war, pestilence, and famine, are all ministers of providence to execute wrath. Commentary by Alexander Carson.

on Psalm 75 the psalmist exalts God. He is all knowing God. It is Gods principal that if God is exalted he draws men unto himself. We need to be humble and of a contrite spirit especially to the Lord. He gives grace to the humble. But God will judge the proud. The more we are closer to God the more we learn to be humble. Always repent and be humble before our God. He alone can promote or demote u.
God is great and will always receive our praise and worship. He is the God who never fails and is always there on time to fulfill his p promise. Thank you lord. You will always get the glory, the praise, the honour cos u deserve it. I will always wait for u and cos your time is always the best. I will look up to thee all of my life. Thank you lord Thank you
God weighs a man's heart and see his cause. He cannot be deceived. When in wickedness and hate is pursued it is he that will handle such a cause. It is his will to exalt the humble and destroy the prideful and arrogant man of mischief. And, he will whether it be in this life or the next, he will.
God is almighty, all powers belong to him. God is one and only one. God has no comperesen.
God's time is not of man. I will wait for Gods time for he will surely bless me according to his words and promises. Amen.
God loves us and knows what's best for us and i will learn to be more content with what he has blessed me with because it is plentiful starting with life itself Amen
This psalms rings in my heart to relax, God knows what I need and when I need it. He knows how to set my feet on high while I learn how to be content with what I have. I don 't have to worry about a thing. If God be for me....No one can take what belongs to me by God.
god has worked through my life even though he put me through some hard times i got through them with faith in god. i may not go to church as often as i should but i will always follow by god.
It is good to give thanks and praise to the Lord God is good god is wonderful and god is merciful.never stop believing in him,his mercy endureth for ever and ever.

Our destinies are programmed by our maker. And so every step, height we attain in life has already been set by God, our duties is to align with Him NOT man to accessing it.
It means blessings come from God and not man. God says in his word "not by power nor by might, but by my spirit says the Lord. " Also, his word says when you please Him, He will bless you to find favor in man therefore, it takes God 's favor in whatever endeavors you attempt in life. So why settle for less, when you can get the best, and that 's through Jesus Christ.
This verse shows me that if we are in Christ Jesus, and he in us,we don 't have to fight anyone for what his yours.we dont have to Lie, Cheat, and bring down anyone.because in due time God will step in,if that Promotion was your from the foundation.it,still his wait on it, whatever it is just wait.He his still God,
Verse 6 Look not unto man for promotion not from the east nor the west but look to God from whence cometh your help, whatever man give or do is just for a while but when God set you on high it is permanent .
Verse 7 of Psalm 75 to my mind is saying God judges right even when you are put down or when you are promoted. Some people see it right if they are promoted but feels bad if they or their favoured ones are put down.It also shows that no position or situation is permanent, God can always do a reshufflement.
Bishop Dr Akram John on Psalms 75:6 - 11 years ago
Hounor does not come from the East,West ,North .this come from the God. but those person who Love and Knows Him to very well.Pslam 91/14 the answer of Pslam 75/6.
My thought about psalm 75:6 is simple, trying to go for help from any conner at all aside of God's provision is like trying to get water in the desert and beliving that it will just appear when you don't belive in the supernatural cretor which would certainly amount to nothing reasonable.
CHOOSE this day whom you will serve....THERE is a peace knowing that troubles come to all,but learning that ultimately EMMANUEL ,JAHOVAH JIREH, SUSTAINS me through these TROUBLES,and increased FAITH AS a result....JESUS loves us...
