If Eve had not fallen there would be no us, but if GOD would not have forsaken his only begotten son we would not still be here. In Jesus name, I say Amen!
  • William Ondari on Psalms 84 - 8 years ago
The book of psalm 84 is quite encouraging to the believers because no success comes without the intervention of God. Our God rewards righteousness and the wicked are subjected to punishment and suffering. May God give us power to live by his word.

I would rather dwell in house of the Lord and even have the yukiest job there is to do than dwell in the tents of wickedness : I had been in the tents of wickedness before and it is awful!!! Sin has pleasure for a season : And to reap the pleasures of sin for a child of God is not good. If a True born again child of God : you cannot continue in that sin.

Uplifting, honest, true and sustaining. The Psalm truly demonstrates God 's love, compassion and mercy to all mankind. Blessed is he who remains faithful to the end for they shall surely see the Almighty God in his splendour. Help me oh Lord and steer me away from the tents of wickedness. I yearn to dwell in your house forevermore.

I used go to church 3 times a week, I never thought a time will come in my life where I 'll experience deficiency in my life that limits me to go to church even on a Sunday. I cry everyday for God to heal every sphere of my life so I may worship him like I used to. I prayed to him about my situation, basically I 've done it all...

To the Honorable T. Robinson Ahlstrom. Unlike you I did not appreciate the invaluable gems I managed to retain as a young girl. Privileged to attend like universities, I cultivated hedonism, gained little, lost more. But I always believed in God and Him in me, the latter I learned when I surrendered my wicked life to Jesus, who has never left me despite my grievous straying. You speak wisely that I could not. I love you my brother! God Bless You! , . AMEN!
  • T. Robinson Ahlstrom on Psalms 84 - 10 years ago
This is the homecoming Psalm. For this one pilgrim, the LORD 's house has always been the sweetest place. In my boyhood, life was sometimes difficult, but the preaching of God 's word was an anchor of hope and a rock of salvation. I would wait 167 hours each week to go off to that old church and hear God 's word on the 168th. The pastor was a plain man brilliant and devout. His sermons were logic on fire. All my life the sober words and sweet songs of that place have carried me along. Privileged to study at the world 's greatest universities, I gained no wisdom from them like the lessons I learned there. Blessed to taste all the world 's high culture, I have found no beauty or excellency to match the sweet saraband of those hymns. There were true saints in that place, in whose weathered faces I discovered what it meant to be a man. Take the whole world and give me Jesus. Let me run to the house where is name is ever blessed.

  • Charles on Psalms 84:10 - 10 years ago
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord, in the presents thereof , than to dwell in the intense of the wickedness, in the presents of the devil . Our jobs are neither large or small, important or non important, layman than boastful, than to dwell one day in the presents of the devil and his angles.
  • Egwim David M.J. on Psalms 84:11 - 10 years ago

  • Rob on Psalms 84:10 - 10 years ago
The best single day of my life was the day I was saved. More memorable than any day with friends, events, fishing trips, or nights out was the day that I began fellowship with the LORD. Knowing that GOD cares enough about me to send me a rescue party of signs and wonders is unimaginable. I will cherish and build off that night forever. Thank you Jesus! Amen.
  • Toni on Psalms 84:10 - 10 years ago
There is no where better to be than in the presence of the Lord, where there is joy, peace and righteousness. The people of God are well aware that fellowshipping with the Father, the Son Jesus and the Holy Ghost, is better than dwelling anywhere in the world. Those who love righteousness would rather be in the presence of the Lord and around godly people, than around the wicked, who vex their souls.
