I have read the Bible three times all the way through in my life time and I 'm starting on my fourth. I know that I have read Psalms 88 but I do not remember how it depicts the sadness, pain, loneliness and the place in which a person dwells even in life on earth. I have been in a dark place but not like this one. I know first hand that it is hard to see the light when your mind and what you feel in your heart is so devestating. Praise God I made it through. God help us all!

I am amazed of this chapter! It has spoken to my daughter 's heart especially verse 15. It says I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted. We are in a storm right now, and my daughter is always scared of dieing in her youth, but praise God we found this verse. God is Almighty in His ways of comforting.

I have lived this and of late got my heart's desire of moving back to my promised land and then God gave me Ps. 88 again.
Most Christians do not know this scripture. I do, but wonder why a few have to walk this walk, when they are only trying to please God.

Yahweh, the God of my salvation, I have cried day, and night before you. We must be persistent in our prayer. There are times when it seems like God is silent, but if we ask, seek, and knock the doors will be opened unto us. Just as Daniel prayed three times a day, and Yahweh God delivered him from the den of lions. We too will be delivered when we cry out to God for salvation morning, noon, and evening. As Jesus prayed thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven will come in the fulness of time. As we seek righteousness, justice, and mercy we bring the kingdom of God to earth. So do not despair, but look to Jehovah for He alone can save us.

Psalms 88 has got me a long way. Now I know and believe in God. He has plans for me and that he loves me. My faith gets stronger day by day, knowing that God walks with me through the storms in life.

Mildred I'll put you in my prayers. We never know what God has in mind for us. Please hang in there and pray. We never know what is around the next corner. God does answer our prayers in HIS time. In your prayers picture HIS arms around you and feel strength and comfort surround you.

This describes how I feel right now. My heart is so heavy with despair. I feel totally cut off from God. Please pray for me.
