The proper translation is 4 living things. Beasts are world powers. They more than likely are Seraphim. They and the elders worship before the throne day and night proclaiming God's Glory - Hallelujah ! I'll bet it's an awesome sight. I'll be happy just to sweep the floor! Just please let me in.

It's 4 creatures and they guard the throne. They were put there after the attempted overthrow by Satan who took a third of Gods children away from God and the wicked one sows his tares to earth, Matt. 13:36 to 44.

Hi Amanda. Many commentators have compared the four beasts found in this book to the seraphim written of in Isaiah 6. You might like to have a read of that. There's a commentary by Matthew Henry of that chapter found on this site that might also prove useful. Hope that helps.

I believe the white horse is not Jesus. I believe it is the Antichrist. Comparing this passage to Revelation 19:11-16, this rider has a bow and a crown, where as in Revelation 19, The Lord has crowns. I believe every part of the passage should be compared with one another. Because this rider of chapter 6, death, famine, and hell follows. Peace and judgment follows Jesus.

Verse 28: The carcass are lost people. Note verse 39 sets the theme for verses 40 and 41 which a lot of people think is the rapture, it's not. The one's taken away are the lost. See Luke 17:24-37 where it is made more clear, the 12 ask the Lord where they are taken to. The cross reference for all this is Revelation 19:17-21. The ones left go into Christ's Earthly Kingdom, the 1,000 years.

Jesus himself is the word of God whatever he spake to the people a word comes from our Holy Father who have sent him. Jesus is the only mediator between man and God. To Kay: Yes. Jesus made real what we cannot and should not by the power of G d. For us, what we experience is an occurance symbolic to the given for the purpose of conveying the truth as transpired. A more direct message than can be derived from man 's testiment alone. Yes, Jesus gives us the voice of many waters as the spoken word. Rev 19:16 says, "...its written... ". not pierced. People should understand this.

Trinitarian Alert: Here, Jesus, firmly rejects the worship from his fellow servent. Why? Well, Jesus plainly intructs his students of scripture, as he did through out his earthly ministry, to worship God! From the mouth of Jesus himself, this is clear evidence that Jesus is not God.

I John 2:4-- He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His Commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Rev. 18:4- Come out of her my people, satan has a world wide organized party of people, churches, so-called Christian organizations that are in his power, his clenched fist, they have given there love and obedience to him because he soothes the root core of their human existence, which pleases them. But in Obedience to the Master they serve, they try to drag down every human soul, that should belong to the Creator, in there blind obedience to Him!
