    Hi Natasha St John! If you read in Revelation 7:4-8 It explains that the 144,000 are out of the 12 tribes of Israel. As we read on starting with verse 9 we see that the nations that make up the rest of the world, that have their garments washed white in the blood of the Lamb, are a multitude that no man could number. So the 144,000 are only those that God has sealed, out of the 12 tribes of Israel. Now we know because God's Word is truth and there is a thread in the bible. Isaiah 64:6 says that all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. In Matthew 7:21-23 says that God will say depart from me ye workers of iniquity. Also in

    1 Corinthians 6:9-11 it says, Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. And in Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. So by fallowing the thread of the Bible we can clearly see that the 144,000 are only out of the 12 tribes of Israel, they are washed in the blood of the Lamb and sealed by God. The rest of the world is the multitude that no man can number and is also washed in the blood of Christ Jesus.

    Hey Jesse,

    My understanding: Due to the flood all of mankind today are descendants of Adam and Eve through the sons of Noah. We don't look alike but we have the same blood and the same skin, Acts 17:26 1 Cor. 15:39. Satan has twisted it so that we look at each other as different races when there is only one race created by God through His only begotten Son Jesus.

    Today we see people as either Jews or Gentiles with the Gentiles of many religions. We see in Deut. 7:6 God said to Israel "God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto Himself above all people that are upon the face of the earth." If we look at what God said to Abram in Genesis 12:1-3 "and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed," this is pointing to the coming of Jesus.

    Israel was chosen by God for his plan of salvation as Jesus said to the woman at the well, John 4:21-24 how we worship the Father is about to change for salvation is of the Jews. Salvation came through Israel the chosen people, who today are called Jews came the chosen One, the Anointed One, the Messiah/Christ Jesus the Son of God. Through Him, all the families of the earth will be blessed. We also see this in Matt. 12:17-21 Isaiah 42:1-4

    Gal. 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

    Gal. 4:4-5 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

    Gal. 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

    Whosoever is in Jesus, the Chosen One, by Him becomes the chosen people of God Jew or Gentile. Matt. 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen. Matt. 20:16 1 Cor. 1:27 Eph. 1:4 2 Thes. 2:13 Rev. 17:14. Jesus will return and reign and the chosen will reign with Him.

    Is the 144000.00 be the ones that are alive at the coming of Christ ? , the ones that have stayed true to GOD , the ones that have not been killed off by those who have rejected CHRIST I do understand that CHRIST said unless he comes there would be no flesh remain , does this have something to do with it ?, Who really will be the 144000.00?

    Do not be like the preterists, who do not believe in God and his report but turn to themselves and the truth to fables. God has declared the beginning of the end and the end of this age (that is the new beginning; with the new heaven and the new earth). This shall be an everlasting kingdom, and nothing shall enter into it that defiles it. And there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor pain, for these former things are passed away. "And he said to me: "It is done! I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give freely from the fountain of the water of life. He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." - [ Revelation 21:6-7]

    And this is true because it has been given to us in these last days according to the testimony of the holy angels and John, but it is his word that is faithful and true.

    Expect no less, for truthfully the kingdom of heaven is not yet established here on the earth. Romans 14:17 by definition; God's kingdom is spiritual; Righteousness, joy, peace in the Holy Spirit, not mead and drink.

    Luke 17:20-21; "And when he was asked by the scribes and the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, saying, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor shall they say, Look here or look there! for behold, the kingdom of God is within you." (We cannot see it but is within us now; as we already know).

    Appart from this, The kingdom of heaven is physical. Be it on earth or in heaven.

    John the Baptist always preached; "The kingdom of heaven is near!" Jesus also said that the Jews should repent, because the kingdom of heaven is near and was, for Jesus himself had come down, in so manner that they might know the times and the seasons and so that they would seek to know him.

    Hello Skyler. According to Revelation 20:11-15, hell (in Greek, Hades: the abode of the departed spirits), will not last forever. In that very last day when all are judged by God (at the Great White Throne judgement), all those who have died & not found written in the Book of Life, would be found guilty before God & cast into the Lake of Fire. Not only them, but "death & hell" as well, as there would no longer be any need for them, since sin will be no more as Satan himself will be consigned to that fiery Lake (v20) & with him all who have rejected God & His Son Jesus Christ. So, there will be a day when hell will be emptied out & removed altogether, but the Lake of Fire will exist for eternity in the final judgement of those who rejected God's Love.

    And Jesus spoke of this final place in Luke 12:4,5: "And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him." Here the word for 'hell' in Greek, is 'geenna or gehenna', which is different from the (temporary Hell/Hades). And this place (Gehenna) is the final place of eternal torment; but those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life ( Revelation 21:27) will live eternally with God & His Son, with the host of Heaven, on the new Earth in the New Jerusalem where there will be no more sin & Satan to deceive mankind.

    Revelation 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates, and the water thereof was dried up, that THE WAY of the of the kings of the east might be prepared.

    Revelation is very, very symbolic, so we have to try to understand what the symbols represent, in their relation to the kingdom of God, YOU becoming the image of Christ, ONE with the WORD.

    Angels are messengers send by the spirit of God, so this angel is pouring out God's message on the Euphrates.

    The Euphrates (symbolic) is a river, a river is water, and another scripture in Revelation says:

    Revelation 17:15 ....the waters which thou sawest, where the whore sits, are peoples and multitudes, and nations and tongues ......ALL mankind, unfaithful to there creator ..... from lack of KNOWLEDGE ......

    All God's words are for each person in this sea of humanity, so when God's message (the spirit of truth and life) is poured out on YOU, YOU began to come to TRUTH and become a faithful wife, TRUTH in you, instead a wife of another, LIES and DECEPTION in you.

    THE WAY (Christ is truth, life, and the way) of the KINGS (Christ is King of Kings) is prepared ....and when Christ has FINISHED HIS WORK IN YOU, there will be:

    Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth (a faithful wife; baptised in truth and life) ...and there was no more sea ....peoples, nations, tongues: WHORES; Christ WORDS have OVERCOME lies and deception.

    Hiya Barbara...Lemme give ya my slant on the lake of fire...And Rev 20:15...One of my favorite scriptures...And Hebrews 12:29....Our God is a consuming fire...and Luke 12:49....I come to bring fire on the earth...Which is his baptism of the H.G. and fire...Which answers to the book of life that NEW covenant in his blood...Plz listen with your heart to Rev 20:15...If any man was not found written in the book of life ( that New Covenant in his blood) he was cast into the lake of fire...Which is that fire that Jesus said he wanted to bring on the earth...That new covenant in his blood...Remember our God is a consuming fire which is baptism of the H.G. and fire...

    I understand your question better , fire purges , makes clean , what cannot be cleaned by water shall be cleaned in fire , like gold and silver , fire is used to get rid of the impurities in gold and silver . It's used in Revelation as a metaphor . We will come through that cleansing purge if we are in Christ , everything else will be destroyed by that same fire . The fire will sort the wheat from the chaff , the chaff will be destroyed by the fire but for us in Christ it will cleanse us completely , a bit like the flood in Noah's day , the water was destruction to all those people who didn't believe God but to Noah and his family that water was like a baptism . Think of Daniels companions in the furnace , the flames didn't touch them or harm them because they belonged to God .

    The power of death is sin , the flesh (us ) is weak and sinful . When all flesh is done away with satan will have no power to tempt anyone , he will be redundant and there won't be any flesh left for him to tempt into sin . We shall all be changed and be like Christ . God will be all in all , no more weak sinful flesh no more satan .

    Hi Barbara. In Revelation 20:14,15, we read about this event that is way into the future. Hell is 'Hades' in Greek, which essentially means, 'the abode of the departed spirits'. According to Revelation 20:11-13, those who stand before God in that final judgement, with the books about their lives opened, have all been dead. And hell will be emptied out of those spirits of men that hated God, their bodies, whether in the earth or in the sea will be raised to stand trial before God. All will be judged and condemned into an eternity of endless torment & horror. The graves will be emptied & hell will be emptied. There's no more need for them. All that is evil & representative of evil will forever be cast aside.

    Then the beauty & holiness of the New heaven (sky), the New Earth & the New Jerusalem (Revelation chapter 21), will renew all that was lost when mankind decided to rebel against his Maker.

    I would like to add to what Gigi has already shared.

    You asked, "WHO is the CAUSE of suffering ?

    I believe the cause of suffering goes back to the Garden of Eve.

    All of God's creation was effected by the fall.

    We suffer physically and emotionally.

    And we suffer persecution because of our new birth.

    We have a sin nature in this EARTHY TABERNACLE.

    Romans 5:12 says "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and SO DEATH PASSED UPON ALL MEN, FOR THAT ALL HAVE SINNED:

    Look at Romans 8:18-23.

    For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

    8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

    8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

    8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

    8:22 FOR WE KNOW THAT THE WHOLE CREATION GROANETH AND TRAVAILETH IN PAIN TOGETHER UNTIL NOW.

    8:23 AND NOT ONLY THEY, BUT OURSELVES ALSO, WHICH HAVE THE FIRSTFRUITS OF THE SPIRIT, EVEN WE OURSELVES GROAN WITHIN OURSELVES, WAITING FOR THE ADOPTION, TO WIT, THE REDEMPTION OF OUR BODY.

    We see what it will be like when all God's creation is redeemed in

    Revelation 21:1-4.

    "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea." God is going to create a new Heaven and a New Earth! Our time does not end in Heaven! We have a glorious ETERNITY to spend with our Saviour on EARTH!! The NEW EARTH! I pray this helps!

    God uses your hardships to PRESS you into his kingdom.

    God drives us into the WILDERNESS, we have to rely on him for our daily necessities, just like the children of Israel, he provides for ONLY TODAY, any more is eaten up by worms (symbolic).

    Revelation 12:14 And the woman (Christ's bride, the church) was given the two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the WILDERNESS, into her place, where she is nourished ..........

    Psalms 37:25 .... I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor HIS SEED begging bread.

    Philippians 1:29 For UNTO YOU it is GIVEN on the behalf of Christ, not only to BELIEVE ON HIM, but also to SUFFER for his sake.

    Hebrews 5:8 Though he were a Son (you are a joint heir with Christ), yet learned he (the joint heir) OBEDIENCE through SUFFERING.

    I know this is not what you want to hear, but God PROMISES that HIS GRACE will be enough to get you TO THE END.

    Psalm 75.

    Once again; we see Asaph as he does quite often give a prophetic statement as to the fate of the earth in the end with several cross references of interest.

    Verse 2 seems to be a veiled reference to the Rapture; or possibly those who are Jews that believe and survive to the end of the Tribulation in the reference to "when I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly. (see 2 Cor. 5:10; Exodus 20:35-38 in the context of Exodus 20:34 as a future event of gathering from the nations).

    Verse 3 reminds us of heaven and earth passing away in Revelation 21:1-4 and Matthew 24:35).

    Verses 4 through 7 remind us of the "little horn" ( Dan. 7:8) who is Antichrist himself. God allows Satan and his throne in the Tribulation to suit his purposes; ultimately to separate wheat from chaff; and to draw everyone together at Armageddon ( Rev. 19; Psalm 2).

    Revelation 14:10 is much like verse 8 referring to the "wine of the wrath of God". That theme is also seen in Jeremiah 25:15-17; and similar themes in Isaiah and without a doubt in other scriptures.

    Again the end of this Psalm shows that only praising God is worthwhile (v. 9) and right wins out in the end. That is basically a big theme in all of scripture; the meek shall inherit the earth ( Matt. 5:5).

    Hello James. It is my understanding that the new city will be established on the new Earth. The removal of the old Earth, sky & seas are done for the purpose of a full cleansing from the stain of corruption that permeated everything. The New Jerusalem is indicative of a fresh beginning with Satan & his henchmen locked away permanently.

    Hello James. Sorry to read of your poor health & the confusions & contradictions that are overwhelming you. I would hold onto the Lord Jesus' Words: to 'come to Him if you're over-laden with the cares, concerns & burdens of this life - He promises His rest to all who come.' ( Matthew 11:28). Even in ill-health & hopelessness, Jesus' Peace can over-rule our hearts & minds & give us a certainty of His involvement in our lives & a future where heart-ache & pain will be no more. ( John 14:27; John 16:33; Philippians 4:6,7; Revelation 21:3,4).

    And that is wonderful, that you are persisting in reading God's Word, for therein are the words of Truth & Life. The Promises of God are "yea & in Him Amen" (i.e. they are certain & will not fail); I pray that you will really come to the point of placing your complete trust & hope in Jesus, for He truly is the Answer, the only Answer, to all of our sins, sorrows, hopes & dreams.

    To your questions:

    a. I think you're quoting Revelation 22:4, "And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads." I picked this verse, as the verses that give the mark of the beast don't apply to the believer in Christ, for if he were present at that time & faithful to the Lord & not to Satan, he would refuse that mark and bear the consequences. In Revelation 22:4, I can't be sure whether there is a physical imprint of Jesus' Name there, or this verse speaks metaphorically. Just as how the mark of the Anti-Christ will be made to appear on all those who wish to follow him & continue to live & not die under his rule.

    Leviticus Chapter 15 continued

    No, we enter heaven with a resurrection body that us our earthly body purified, changed to be incorruptible and immortal, freed from the sinful nature, and completely restored to the perfection of Adam and Eve before the fall.

    This chapter reminds me that we all needed to be cleansed by the washing of the word and the blood of Jesus to be acceptable in the sight of the Father. We should not want to bring our filthy bodies, soiled clothing, nor stained handiwork to present ourselves before God. The bathing in this chapter reminds me of the cleansing power of the Word, the washing of the clothing reminds me of the white raiment of Christ's righteousness we are clothed with, and the cleansing of any of our handiwork reminds of doing every work unto the glory of God.

    The Israelites were instructed how to be cleansed in such a way to stand in the tabernacle before God. The idea of being unclean until evening (which is the beginning of the new day for the Israelites) reminds me that whenever we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from sin, thus starting anew just as the Israelites could start their new day clean before God having completed the requirements of this chapter. Behold, I make all things new! ( Revelation 21:5)

    "even so let us walk in the newness of life" ( Romans 6:5) just as Jesus was raised to life from the dead.
