my comment guided by the Holy spirit is that Man was created to worship GOD( I AM WHO I AM) not any other gods except him, who was and is and is to come. The devil just deceive people to not worship this true GOD, because he doesn't want to die in hell alone. Brothers and sister as the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:33 that do not be mocked for bad company corrupt good morals, do not be deceived. The GOD of ABRAHAM, ISSAC AND JACOB is the only one to be worshiped. GOD BLESS YOU.
This verse shows one of the reasons why Jehovah God should be worshipped because of all that he has done for Earth and mankind. It was only because he wanted to create the Earth and the people on it that we even exist. We should be grateful for this fact and give God the worship and honor that He deserves.
JESUS said my word they are spirit and they are alive. REVELATION 7:1--3 means verse 1 four angels are four messengers filled by the HOLY SPIRIT who will be raised up durring the fulfilment of this book, no event that is mention in this book is yet to be fulfilled all is future but very soon. Four winds represent the forces of evil, global event that will happen and will be carried out by Satan when God permits.verse 2 Another Angel is another group of servant that will rise in Jesus and Jesus will rise in them.The seal of the living God is the Holy Spirit, for the Spirit is the mark of Gods ownership. They are the same group of servants previouly signified by the 24 Elders in Revelation 4:4. The angel ascending from the east being heard to cry with a loud voice to the four angels marks these two groups of servants the priest and the prophets to work together in the time of the Revelation prophecy. verse 3.The priest signified by the angels ascending from the east will instruct the prophet to hold in check the armies of this world through the words of their prophecy until the priest have sealed the servants of our God with the Holy Spirit through the preaching of the Gospel those who believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be sealed.Eph1:13,2Corin1:21,22. The servants of God will be sealed in their foreheads that is in their hearts.The trees,earth ,sea represent the inhabitant of this earth, only the believers will be sealed.This message is for those who will believe in the Gospel in the Revelation time.But sealing of the believers is going on now Ephesians1:13. Reply if there's any doubt about this truth.and in what point you doubt so that I can prove all points from the bible KJV.
I can never express my gratitude for the humbling honor of standing before the magnificent magnanimous Creator to praise Him and express gratitude for His love which allows me and all true believers to enter His courts through the mighty blood of Jesus, the sacrificial lamb of God. This is our main purpose for living.
Since John 17:3, Philippians 3:8-10, Matthew 7:21-23, verse 9 covered by a thick cloud, Jeremiah 29:13 that the people might hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever. John 6:17-8; 8:12. Jesus marveled in Matthew 8:10. Is there a greater marvel elsewhere? Is the only disease (BELEVING A LIE) caused by either Deception, or Pride. 1 Corinthians 4:7 there is only One God Who cannot lie, Hebrews 13:8. Who says there are no absolutes? The statement is an absolute, humble unselfish FATHER already knows everything, and is the answer, yet humanity is so wrapped up in their shallow little plans they miss the mark. His Glory Revelation 4:11, Galatians 2:20-21, Genesis 15:1, Philippians 3:12 Came here to understand this veiled verse 19:13 but got sidetracked. Sound unfamiliar 2 Corinthians 3:18, Ephesians 4:13.
@Shannon,
When reading the gospels, one must remember to rightly divide the bible into periods of time, and knowing the group of people the book, chapter and verse(s) are directed to. This chapter as is Matthew 24, and Luke 21 are mostly prophetic for the Jews in the future, after rapture of church age Christians only. Jesus is talking about what the spiritual and earthly conditions will be like just before the 2nd advent. Some of these prophecies have already began and will increase as we get closer to the 2nd advent. The key verse to understand is verse 14, which directly speaking of the anti-Christ that will break the peace covenant ( Daniel 9:27) with the nation of Israel that was signed about 31/2 years earlier. Then the anti-Christ which came in bringing peace ( Daniel 11:24) will begin to slay the Jews by the millions (about 14 millions) more than twice as many as Hitler did. And they are given here a warning to start fleeing Israel to Selah Petra (present day Jordan) south of the dead sea to escape the slaughter that is going on and where God will divinely provide for them until Christ’s return. The great tribulation time will begin in verse 14, which is what you can read about in Revelation 4:1 (rapture of the Christians) to Revelation 19:11-16 (the 2nd advent).
The Rapture doesn't happen at the 7th trumpet judgment. Paul reviewed to us about us going up in the rapture at the last trump was around 66AD. John wrote the book of Revelations in around 95AD. Paul had no knowledge of the trumpet judgments that are coming upon the earth. Do you really think that there won't ever be anymore trumpet blast in Heaven after the rapture? I think not. There is such a misconception about the rapture, if it happens in the middle or in the end of the tribulation, there won't be very many Christians left here on the earth. Since the antichrist would overcome the saints. Only the 144,000 are sealed on their foreheads, not the tribulation saints. Christ will come for his beloved way before the tribulation starts, his promise to us is that we would not see the hour of testing coming upon this earth, that we would not see his wrath. The 1st seal is his wrath, because when the antichrist comes (the world has never seen anyone like this man before), he will be the greatest deceiver the world has seen. As we can see it's not long before he appears on scene.
Revelations 1:19 says this, Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter. Chapter four is the beginning of the things which shall happen hereafter. Things yet to come. This is not the Rapture! The Rapture happens at the Seventh Trump, the last Trump. The walls of Jericho fell after the trumpets sounded seven times. The Lord's number 7.
Revelation chapter 4, to me it means that God in his awesome confidence and omnipotence chooses to reveal a little part of what happens in heaven, what will happen on earth and what we should be doing to be ready for His plan. Hold on to the Mighty God He is and do not conform to this world. Pray for our brothers and sisters and be loving and forgiving. Praise be to God the creator of everything!
@Carlos,
The bible does not mention any life on any planet, except the earth.
So any life that is not of the earth is from angels either of God or of Satan, as they are in their respective businesses with and for man ( Hebrews 1:14).
God bless you.
Are we alone in the universe, extraterrestrial creatures or monsters....unlike satans demons and workers ....who are to this day loyal to the one...science fiction or reality?
Timothy Wayne George on Revelation 4 - 12 years ago
As John receives this prophecy on the island of Patmos, on the Lord's day, he hears the voice of a trumpet. This is the voice of the Lord, when He calls for the Church to "come up hither" in the rapture. The Lord is telling John what will happen after the Church age is over,and that in heaven there is the throne of God. The seven lamps of fire, are the seven spirits of God. The twenty four elders, are the 12 tribes of Israel, and the 12 Apostles. The four living beast, are before the throne, and the say Holy, holy, holy Lord God almighty, which was, and is, and is to come day, and night. The Lord Jesus, who is the Lamb of God, who was slain, and is seated on the right hand of God. This gives us a picture of what praise and worship will be like in heaven. As Jesus is preparing to take the title deed of this world, and rule forever as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. The rainbow, speaks of the promise God has made, that the kingdoms of this world, will become the kingdoms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God for our Lord almighty reigns.
This chapter is tell the people of God it's time to take the limit of worship. Don't pay o mind to people saying "you think they need to do all the" yes you do all that and more to stay save in this time. People of Gos it's time to WORSHIP

This chapter is shring John's vision about the greatness of God. The one and only God that we should be giving him the glory and the praise for being God. He dispenses at his own will the different gifts. It also reminds us that Jesus shed his blood for us which cleans us from sin.
This is a wonderful example of the love of the Almighty God and his Son Jesus Christ, the power of the resurrection gives hope. Romans 6:23 states "For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord." Since we are all born in sin due to Adam and Eve's disobedience to God, we all must die, but Jesus tells us there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, a second chance to learn about our Almighty God and His loving Son, Jesus. We have the power of free will a wonderful gift to either be obedient to Gods commands and principles or as Adam and Eve did, continue to be disobedient to God's law and God's new covenant put in place by Jesus Christ. When Christ comes with his mighty angels and defeats Satan and his demons at Armageddon; the wicked will also be destroyed never to rise again and we can all see the prophecy of Psalm 37:9-11; 21-22; 28-29; Psalms 115:16; Isaiah 45:18; Revelation 4:5 will be realized because all the wicked will be destroyed from the face of the earth and His will will have been done on earth as in Heaven. The great crowd of which no man would be able to number of all tribes, nations, peoples and tongues will be living in peace, harmony and unity, throughout paradise earth under Almighty God's theocratic government - His Heavenly Kingdom. Gods name Jehovah will be vindicated; his Son rules as King of Jehovah's Kingdom with his 144,000 co-rulers as mentioned at Rev. 20:6: “Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.” The scripture at Revelation 20:6 indicates two classes: the rulers, and those ruled. Regardless of the class to which you hope to belong, obedience and faithfulness toward the truth are constant requirements. The prospective members of the royal priesthood need to keep their vision clear and their hope bright, and completely do the will of God. Those hoping for everlasting life on earth in the theocratic new world are eager to learn of the requirements and faithfulness of the royal body of priests that is to rule for the thousand years, and learn to be faithful. Those of the anointed are happy to learn of Jehovah’s purpose to bless and give life to millions of humans. So also those who look forward to living on earth forever will be happy to know about the royal priesthood, to which they will be subject.
3 Jehovah’s purpose to have a kingdom of priests was expressed to his typical people Israel at Mount Sinai. Moses was inspired to inform them: “Now if you will strictly obey my voice and will indeed keep my covenant, then you will certainly become my special property out of all other peoples, because the whole earth belongs to me. And you yourselves will become to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.” ( Ex. 19:5, 6, NW) Israel was to be a sacred kingdom under Jehovah, a real theocracy, a royal nation, living under the rules and rites of the Most High. The word “kingdom” as used in this verse has the meaning of royalty, dynasty, sovereignty. It meant that Jehovah purposed a royal, priestly race, a dynasty of priests, each member having the qualifications and attributes of kings and priests. Typically Israel was the kingdom of Jehovah, but they were unfaithful and disobedient. Later, when Jehovah sent his Son, Christ Jesus, the Kingdom heir, to them, they rejected him, the Stone of Zion. This typical house of Israel had lost sight of the purpose of Jehovah, and was building in opposition to God’s will. Jesus said to them: “‘The stone that the builders rejected is the one that has become the chief cornerstone. From Jehovah this has come to pass and it is marvelous in our eyes.’ This is why I say to you, The kingdom of God will be taken from you and be given to a nation producing its fruits.”— Matt. 21:42, 43. THIS IS GOOD NEWS TO THE NATIONS (GENTILES) Jehovah’s rejection of the nation of Israel and taking the Kingdom from them opened the door for people of the nations (Gentiles) to have the great privilege of becoming a part of the priestly nation. Cornelius of the uncircumcised Gentiles was the first, and Peter said when visiting him: “‘You well know how unlawful it is for a Jew to join himself to or approach a man of another race; and yet God has shown me I should call no man defiled or unclean.’ . . . ‘For a certainty I perceive that God is not partial, but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.’” ( Acts 10:28-35) Paul was commissioned to go to the nations, as Jesus said of him: “This man is a chosen vessel to me to bear my name to the nations as well as to kings and the sons of Israel.” Again, to the Jews, “Paul and Barnabas said: ‘It was necessary for the word of God to be spoken first to you. Since you are thrusting it away from you and do not judge yourselves worthy of everlasting life, look! we turn to the nations. In fact, Jehovah has laid commandment upon us in these words, “I have appointed you as a light of nations, for you to be a salvation to the most distant part of the earth.”’”— Acts 9:15; 13:46, 47.

The Kingdoms of this world will become the Kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ. God will not judge the righteous with the wicked. Revelation 4:1 is the come up hither, and the church will be caught up into heaven. Also the two witnesses will be caught up into heaven before all the world to see. God is true to all of his promises, as he said to the 6th church because you kept the word of my patience, I will keep you from the hour of trial that shall come upon the world. Praise God that his word is true, and the Lord our God rules in the affairs of man.
Flesh and blood does not reveal unto us that there is only One God and His Name One. Only One rules and reigns and we are complete in Him. He is the power and wisdom of God. Only one name given among men whereby we must be saved. Jesus is the Name of God.
REV. 4:2 SHOWED TO US WHAT IS IN HEAVEN THAT THERE IS ONLY BUT ONE THRONE AND THERE IS ONLY THAT SAT ON IT AND IS SPECIFIED TO BE THE LAMB OF GOD THE SAVIOUR THE LORD OF LORDS AND THE KING OF KINGS WHICH AS WE KNEW THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. IF WE HEAR SOME OTHER TEACHINGS EVEN MOST OF THE TEACHING TELLS THAT JESUS HAS ANOTHER CHAIR BESIDES OF THE OF THE FATHER. WHY THEY ADD THE WORD OF GOD? DO THEY UNDERSTAND WHAT MEAN THAT JESUS SITTETH IN THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD OF HIS POWER OF HIS MAJESTY? THE BIBLE TELLS US THAT THERE IS BUT ONLY ONE GOD. WHY MAN TEACHES OF MANY GODS. DON"T WE KNEW THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE SAVIOR? WE MUST BE CERTAIN ON THESE THINGS.
tod-in the Revised KJV you will not find JEHOVAH'S name at Psalm 83:18. Where you will find it is at the back of your bible under Jehovah and it has the one or few places you are supposed to "know" to replace the word God for JEHOVAH.
Jo's- Please remember that a "God" is anything that is worshipped. Budda is a "God" just as money can become a "God". This is something that help me come to a better understanding of the name of the only true God, JEHOVAH GOD. :
If you want someone to get to know you, what might you do? Would you not tell the person your name? Does God have a name? Many religions answer that his name is “God” or “Lord,” but those are not personal names. They are titles, just as “king” and “president” are titles. The Bible teaches that God has many titles. “God” and “Lord” are among them. However, the Bible also teaches that God has a personal name: Jehovah. Psalm 83:18 says: “You, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.” If your Bible translation does not contain that name, you may want to consult the Appendix of this book (What Does the Bible REALLY teach? {A Publication of Jehovah's Witnesses}) to learn why that is so. The truth is that God’s name appears thousands of times in ancient Bible manuscripts. So Jehovah wants you to know his name and to use it. In a sense, he is using the Bible to introduce himself to you.
God gave himself a name that is full of meaning. His name, Jehovah, means that God can fulfill any promise he makes and can carry out any purpose he has in mind.* God’s name is unique, one of a kind. It belongs only to him. In a number of ways, Jehovah is unique. How is that so?
We saw that Psalm 83:18 said of Jehovah: “You alone are the Most High.” Similarly, Jehovah alone is referred to as “the Almighty.” Revelation 15:3 says: “Great and wonderful are your works, Jehovah God, the Almighty. Righteous and true are your ways, King of eternity.” The title “the Almighty” teaches us that Jehovah is the most powerful being there is. His power is unmatched; it is supreme. And the title “King of eternity” reminds us that Jehovah is unique in another sense. He alone has always existed. Psalm 90:2 says: “Even from time indefinite to time indefinite [or, forever] you are God.” That thought inspires awe, does it not?
Jehovah is also unique in that he alone is the Creator. Revelation 4:11 reads: “You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created.” Everything that you can think of—from the invisible spirit creatures in heaven to the stars that fill the night sky to the fruit that grows on the trees to the fish that swim in the oceans and rivers—all of it exists because Jehovah is the Creator! (End of the section from the book)
One last thing. In what most people call "The Lord's Prayer", at the begin it states "Our father...holy be thy name." Who's name? JEHOVAH!
