The Tribulation is Time of Persecution against God's People. It Started about 2 Thousand years ago. We Must go Through Much Tribulation. Acts14:22 / Wrath of God is Poured out in Revelation 16:1. / The Seals 1-4 of Revelation are Opened, 5-7? Power is given to Them over 25% of The World to Kill. Revelation 6:8. That's why They have All Those Troubles. Harder Times are Coming.

The last verse reminds that every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess Jesus Christ is Lord. I'd say that is when it will happen.

Is there an argument here about Gods wrath or the second coming of Jesus back to earth where all eyes will see him and he will come back the same way he left spoken of by the Angels at the time of the Transfiguration......I am confused???

The rider of the white horse is commonly misinterpreted as the Antichrist, and marking the beginning of the 7 year tribulation. Daniel's dream shows the beginning of the 7 year tribulation beginning with the revealing of Antichrist, which takes place at the beginning of the 7 bowl judgements. Rev 6:2, The white horse, is the Antichrist presenting himself to the world as a prince of peace. He preaches peace, but is preparing for war, as symbolized by the bow. The *crown* represents the fact that he will conquer many countries. At first he does so by peace, but will quickly graduate to war.

Keep, and do the commandments of God, and have faith in Jesus ( Rev 14:12) for the time is at hand ( Rev 1:3).

As Nimrod did in ancient times; bring war and slavery and cruelty and perversion upon a happy and virtuous world living in quietness and peace; so did the beast rise up and a false prophet out of the desert countries of the south, to bring slaughter and destruction to the very Christian Classical world of the Mediterranean, Europe and Asia. Jesus never used a bow and arrow, or crown Himself king!

The picture of an archer and a horseman are for naming the man of sin, the son of perdition. In that he is given a crown, is for proving the hearts of men whether they will obey the commandments of the LORD or not. Before Nimrod (and all who came after, hoping to make themselves such a name and legacy as the Original Heathen Antichrist had done); there was no need for walls and towers and armies.

The conqueror in this case, is the one who makes himself mighty, in order to subdue men unto himself, AWAY FROM GOD AND FAITH IN HIS ANOINTED THE SAVIOUR. Read Isaiah 14 (for example) and compare with not only Nimrod (who started it all after the flood) but with all the sons of the devil who have likewise brought murder and catastrophe while seeking to themselves be gods. This is the first rider!

Al; The Spirit's inspiring of the holy writers of the Scriptures is not a mystical code which may be unlocked by methodologies of human thinking. If you listen to anything that the Lord taught, and try to dissect and analyse the words instead of hearing the moral and spiritual points instead of in a good and honest heart take the message as it was delivered in its simplicity; what shall it profit?

Al; The image of a beasts arising from out of the earth or the sea [of peoples]; describes the several kingdoms of the Gentiles ruling over the world since Israel was carried to Babylon, and ultimately concludes in a universal dominion of such corruption and violent cruelty as has never up to then been allowed by God to come; although it was in their imagination to do from the beginning.

Al; there are many ways which the LORD has used to teach us about these things, and with diverse descriptions and symbols representing spirits and spiritual things.; not so many (e.g.) beasts, but so many ways of describing what kind it is, and the things that are, and those that must come to pass before the end. Hi Al; I want to say some more about why I don't like views of the Commentary. Jesus came as a Lamb, not as a warrior or conqueror. He came to announce His kingdom, giving light and grace for faith. "My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight that I should not be delivered to the Jews." He already has a Name above EVERY name, and ALL AUTHORITY!

Al; Let's go back a chapter or two, and see what is the matter here. We are brought into the Throne Room in heaven, and Him that sits on the throne has a little scroll in His hand; a "small matter" but one that only the Son of God is worthy to take and look upon its contents.
