ALZEPP; I started reading the commentary as you suggested; and found it quite empty. There's nothing in the Scriptures, or in ancient history to support this person's fanciful ideas. But there was one both in Scripture, and ancient writings, who fits perfectly this description of a conqueror and an archer and one whose appearance and exploits have covered the earth and remain a fundamental belief.

Hello to Obie and Disciple....Revelation chapter 6. The First and Second Seal openings. Have you read the COMMENTATORS understanding of the White and Red Horse, their riders, the bow,the Crown and their going forth to conquer and conquering...... The first 13 lines of the COMMENTATOR are outstanding.

All; Consider how the Lord Jesus prepared the disciples for what their lives would from then on be like in the world as the same purpose for John to write to the Churches warning and instructing to readiness, with a view toward our bearing up with grace and virtue and much patience through all that was spoken by God as necessary to bring about the completion of the age; to keep faith and overcome.

"And when he had opened the fifth seal I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:" From the first seal is revealed the Antichrist. Under each following seal is both the underlying evil and the results of that evil. The Cains of the earth murdering their brothers, the Abels, is what's at the root of all evil done in the world.

"..How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?" We may die or be killed for our faith in Jesus, without having yet received the promise of vengeance and righteousness upon those who inhabit the earth, who are guilty of our blood; But God waits for the whole number of us to be complete before He makes an end of the wicked.

Rev: 6:12-17 ... as a whole, the 'Whole-World' is blind to the 'Signs Of The Time' told to us by Jesus Christ; but the 6-seal will rock the 'Whole-World' and 'Heaven' thereby get everybody attention. The ... and ... nor ... will not be able to help me nor protect me. Nothing but the Blood Of Jesus will matttttter. Our Heavenly Father has provide Jesus /The Shelter In Time Of Storm! WOW, WOW, WOW.

Satan comes as antichrist which is to say instead of Christ meaning Satan claim he is God returned and it's going to be a love feast and Satan will take on the role of Christ to deceive the whole world. If you join Satans one world system and your faked out then you haven't been keeping track of the trumps. No rapture will occur and the first Christ is a fake. Wait for hail and fire THEN 7th Trump

Well said Ginger! We should understand that the whole of Jesus' teaching, both during His ministry, and especially so in the last days before He suffered; was to prepare us for what we are to expect to encounter here until He comes again BECAUSE He has called us from out of the world to be His embassy of the Glad Tidings to the world! The Book of Revelation is for us to know all we must overcome!

Pre-Tribulation is a lie that the new world order started. Compare to Rev 6:12 to Matt.24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. It matches with Sun/Moon. We will go thru Great Trib then raptured then the WRATH IS POURED ON MAN 3.5yr

Gerald; "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." 1 Cor. 15:51-52 We must put on immortality; for flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
  • Gerald on Revelation 6 - 7 years ago
Steve read carefully 1Corinthians15:50-58. Says only the dead will be changed at the last trumpet,in Revelation 11. 1 thess 4:14-18 says the same thing. Says we who are ALIVE AND REMAIN UNTILL THE COMING OF YHE LORD WILL BY NO MEANS PRECEDE THOSE WHO ARE ASLEEP. Revel.chapter11:17,18 says talks about the One who is and was and IS TO COME. This the last trump and he is judging and rewarding saved

Steve (cont.) as to the part in 2nd Thessalonians about "..until he be taken out of the way;" does not mean the Rapture of the Church, but the Holy Spirit giving them up and taking away all restraint. This also is the Archaic meaning in the number six hundred sixty six; overflowing all bounds and restraints by a multiplicative; as it is written in the 2nd Psalm "Let us break their bands asunder.."
  • A disciple on Revelation 6 - 7 years ago
Steve; the words in the Original Received Text; which were translated into English "what things shall be hereafter.." is more accurately "..with these things;" as adding to what is already being said in the messages to the Churches. The idea that John being translated into the Spirit in ch. 4 is supposed to signify the rapture of the Church is misled, and contradicts the entire intent of the Book.
  • Steve on Revelation 6 - 7 years ago
Disciple...I certainly respect your belief and opinion concerning the rapture of the church...but I do differ. Revelation 4-22.5 tells us of the things that shall be hereafter...after what? After the saints are caught up as stated in 1 thes.4:14-17. 2 thes 2:7 tells us the church will continue to hinder lawlessness until the rapture, and then antichrist will be revealed. I find comfort in pretrib

Steve; Thank you for your kind words. I like what you write as well! I do see it differently however about the Catching Away of the Saints, as I read about it in Scripture. The times of the heathen have been officially ruling over the world since the carrying away of Judah and Jerusalem by Babylon; by Israel's forfeiture of the kingdom through the house of David till Christ returns.

Steve; two or three things suggest that we must be here up to the end. Jesus said, "When you shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet.." and the souls under the Altar were told that the Day of Vengeance would not come UNTIL ALL their brothers and sister who should likewise suffer is fulfilled; and the catching away is at the LAST TRUMPET at the coming of the LORD.
  • Steve on Revelation 6 - 7 years ago
Disciple...I respect all your comments, and they are all right on. I think Revelation 1-4 concern the church age in which we are blessed to live in. All the judgments are after the arrival of the antichrist. It's true the. world is experiencing many antichrists today, but not the beast of satan. This monster may well be alive today, but not in the temple in Jerusalem yet. When this is we are gone.

This chapter is WOW!.. because the current events of all the nations of the world (social, political, economical, etc.,) proves when we added-up the current events of the nations of the world the total is seal # 6 can open before we take our next breath. WOW !

Under the fifth seal, and under all that which up to now is opened to our view; it is the persecution of Cain against Abel, and Nimrod against the happy and virtuous new world after the cataclysm; the furious rage of the heathen, and the vain imagination of the people against the LORD, and against His Anointed. And so the sixth seal is the Day of the LORD; and the seventh seal silence in heaven.

Al Zepp (2); Very kind regards to you also :) The wording in the Greek (Textus Receptus) says simply, "For the time at hand;" which I think is very interesting. Also, in that Daniel describes these things in terms of weeks (maybe by heaven, or by some root meaning that was lost translating to English?), and that Moshiach would suffer and be cut off near the completion of the "Seventy Weeks."

Hello, Al Zepp; Thank you for your civil and kind words. ( Genesis 10:8-11; 11:1-9) This is a most important moral and spiritual disaster, and that which set the course for heathen defiance and perversion from the truth deeply set into the minds and souls of men. This topic needs to be thoroughly searched out and understood; as it is the fundamental cause of the antichrist spirits in the world.

The most common way that many "try' to understand prophecy altogether, including Revelation; excludes the part of eternity where God dwells; and limit their view by man's thinking in terms of man's temporal existence here. An accurate understanding of the history of the world as it is recorded in the Scriptures of Truth will allow you to view the prophecy from eternity looking down into time.

    Dear disciple,
I will try to show you a time table of John's writings of his vision. Rev1;1 John wrote of things shortly to come to pass. Verse 2. For the things He saw. Verse 3 For the time is at hand. John was in a state of "Tribulation." along with his brothers in Christ. Do these Scriptures seem to imply John was recording things present to his day looking forward? My kindest regards. Al

    Hello disciple,

I appreciate your input. May I ask you for supporting Scriptures? And a question? What does it mean to you when the Rev.1 states that John was in the " Spirit" when he wrote? I hope to be consistent historically and allegorically thru the Seven Seals. Perhaps John's vision was looking forward thru the entire Gospel Day. A panoramic view of the Church established at Pentecost

The one to whom it was given to go forth conquering is Antichrist, from his first rising up in the person of Nimrod. With these things goes forth like fire to devour the world with violence. All beneath these is man laid in the balance. The thing that is under all the works of the devil to overthrow the conscience of God from among men, is the devil; the prince of death and hell following with him

Hello, There is a time table (33-270c.e) to approximate the first seal history. The White horse (representing the Church) The Bow (the Teachings) The Church went forth to conquer SIN in its manifold categories. At Pentecost 33 C.E.. one can reasonably move forward in time with respect to the opening of the first seal. Pagan Rome was the primary enemy of the Church. Next writing...The Beast?
  • Obbie Beal on Revelation 6 - 7 years ago
WOW !in this chapter it appears 5 of the seals are open, therefore only one-seal left to be open. WOW !... (Great Earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth... the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

With the removing of restraint for Antichrist to rise goes hand in hand the taking away of God's hand from before the all the wicked of the earth. This is what they began to do under Nimrod at Babel;and so being made strong by conquest of war, built the city of blasphemy, Nineveh ("I am [the] Son). That which has been begun by God's enemies will God end in their destruction in the Day of Christ.

The word Beast represents war, this includes the people and weapons used to create war.
The 4 beasts, cherubim represent the 4 causes of the final war on earth, end of days.
3 call out Holy so they represent opposing religions that want to rule the earth. 1 will go into nuclear WW3 over economics only to rule the world. The rider on the pale horse starts WW3 causing the others to fight to survive.
