ETHEL comment on v 9 If you believe in your hearts and confess with your mouth that God raised Jesus from the dead and Jesus is the son of God then we are saved One must start to doing good and less committing sins your daily walk with Jesus should start with a prayer songs and rejoicing reading the word of God and fasting on things you cannot bare and steer yourself from old habits and if you should fall by the way ask God to for give you and keep going good Amen this walk are not easy but it get easy the more you try and yield your members unto God

Wow Faith comes from hearing the message and the message comes through preaching Christ if only we would know and be able to descern between zeal and knowledge of God we would be better and our relation with God would be high I pray that God may give us that spirit of discernement between the things of God and those things that are not of God in this time and generation that we live in Jesus Christ s Name Amen

i ve always enjoyed the book of Romans

I tend to rejoice always at this exposition made by Paul in Romans chapter 10. SALVATION has no limitations attached to it there is no difference between Jews and Greek, nor creed or color. Halleluyah and it is a thing of rejoicing for whosoever understands the depth of that statement. In this chapter, Paul also mentioned salvation that has little or nothing to do with zeal as we see in most cases nowadays, and of which people ought be careful about it. Paul said in vs 2 " for i bear them record that they have a zeal of God but not according to knowledge. It is like you could feel the pain Paul felt for his fellow Jews for the unnecessary waste of efforts with no promise of rewards due to ignorance. Unfortunately, this is the case with most individuals even in the Christian sector and the non Christians sector all the same.For example,islamism is one religion that is 'workscentered' otherwise you can't make heaven and so are many other religions. Most people are zealously affected but their hearts are still far from God. Therefore, Jesus be thanked who has made for us a way of escape if we can only confess him as Lord and believe in our hearts that God has raised him from death. This should be a constant reminder for us everyday, til Christ be fully formed in us.

whomsoever call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved means that now both Jews and Gentiles can call on God and be saved. Christ broke down that wall of portion. everyone can call and pray to God for strength, salvation, and help. there is not respect of person. whomsoever call upon Jesus have an chance and right to be save if they believe and do Gods will.

Salvation can not be obtained without rightousness. The 'walk' "Must" match the 'Talk'! He who says he has the light but lives in darkness is a lier. Remember God Himself said "...my people worship me with there mouth but there heart is far from me...". Amen.

I must remember my action speeks louder than my words. I must now learn the scriptures that teach me the actions I "must do" & learn the scriptures of the actions I "must stop doing" remembering King David, when he told God he was sorry he "NEVER DID IT AGAIN". AMEN...

"For the remission of sins" means [because of the remission of sins] When you take medicine (for) a headache, is it in order (to get) a headache? Water Baptism necessary? Yes! God word are very powerful, that is why when you believe it the spirit will not depart but stay to show us that which we have believer... Prov 4-18 the path of the just is as the shineth light that more and more unto the perfect day.

I thought this verse was talking about the preachers in the pulpit,but now I think it could be anyone who can study and tell others what thus saith the lord.

YOU MUST HEAR THE WORD BEFORN FAITH CAN BE ESTABLISHED.

It means the word of God is liberal to the jews and to the Gentiles, whoever hears , and believe will be saved.

Thanks be to Almighty God through Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour for Salvation for all who believe that Jesus Died to save all men. We who believe that by His Blood we have been washed, and redeemed for all sin forever.The penalty for sin has been paid on the cross. We now have received the Righteousness of Jesus Christ if we believe. I believe that I am saved and Jesus will raise me up the last day. Praise the Lord!!

Once you've heard it gives you the reason believe and that belief means you have because the word of God creates whatever you believe will come to pass. Therefore faith is a currency for claiming whatever is yours.

I think and I know with a strong believe of faith that Confession brings possession in Christ JESUS.

The name "Jesus" is from the Greek for the Hebrew "Jeshua"(Joshua) which means "the Lord is salvation". Matthew 1:21 says, "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins." John 3:17 "For God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved." Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation is any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Romans 10:13 "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Jesus was not the leader of the Nazarenes, He IS the only begotten Son of God. His Kingdom is not from here and because His Kingdom is not from here, His own people did not accept Him as their King when He was here on earth.
In touching your reference to Revelation 17:2, you must read on to Revelation 17:5 which says, "And upon her forehead was a name written, 'MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.'" (the false religious system that is put in place after the church is raptured up into Heaven). May God teach you through His Holy Spirit and bring you to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

It wasn't until I read this verse one evening at work after seeking the man Jesus for more than a year that I finally understood. It happened (my belief) a year after being told I should learn to know Him. I had read this verse just before break and went to our break room and told everyone who was there the words which changed my life. It was then, after everyone laughed, that I realized I had come to the place of salvation and the Word spoke to my heart. I was 27 years young. I'm now 66 years young, a child of the King! I still get those goose bumps.

Verse 15 says a lot about the grace of God. Truly none of us could carry the yoke that is a complete life of fulfilling all of God's laws. That's why God sent His Son Jesus to live the law completly and die blameless so that whosoever calls upon His name will be saved ( Romans 10:13). He raised Him from the dead to show that Christ's fulfillment was pleasing to God the Father. Right now, if you are an unbeliever, the yoke of imperfetion is on your shoulders, but if you call on the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness, the yoke is transferred to His shoulders. In turn you gain His righteousness. When God sees you, He sees sin that He must punish, but when you have Jesus in your heart, all God sees when He looks at you is His Beloved Son. I pray that if you do not know Jesus Christ, that you may recieve understanding of this great news from God!

Ithink you are forgetting about the "laying on of hands"needed for authority to preach?
Deut 34:9, "And Joshua, the son of Nun was full of the Spirit of Wisdom; for Moses had LAID HIS HANDS UPON HIM: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and he did as the Lord commanded Moses."
