    Covenants part 3

God sees our hearts. It is those often unseen; praying in the closet; living chaste lives; giving anonymously; etc. that are blessed.

Following and living out the truth because of obedience results from love of God. The characteristics of God's children today bring them spiritual authority and blessings to rule and reign someday with Him; alongside from the way scripture indicates; the tribes of Israel with the territories promised in their covenants thousands of years ago. He has called us out of this world; seated us in heavenly places ( Eph. 2:6); and sealed us to the Day of Redemption. ( Eph. 4:30).

Since His covenants are eternal; we have eternity to spend with the Lord (or conversely; in hell). Eternity has been set in the hearts of man; since God Himself is without beginning or end; thus it is reflected in the nature of man that He created; and communed with from the start. Through His Son; He purchased us and redeemed us through the transaction at the cross to be His own. These are all things tied into the concept of election and Predestination. Those who are NOT His children ALL will eventually fall away. John 6:37 is one verse of MANY in that Gospel and elsewhere showing how we are through the Godhead part of the plan of God to reveal the Truth as His child; or outside that number. These are profound mysteries; but it also shows a covenant or at least an agreement with the Father and Son which apparently was made before the creation in eternity past ( Ephesians 1:4).

I will attempt a section on Predestination soon; Lord willing. This section ties together the concept of covenant with election.

Through the Son we are given a new nature which is deemed acceptable to the Father because of Christ's merits and substitutionary atoning sacrificial death. To be one of His children we also must die to self; a lifelong process that initiates at salvation and goes on to death. ( Galatians 2:20; also see Romans 12:1).

Mae By the grace of god we are born again when we confess Romans 10:9+10 and start applying Gods word in our lives.

Even to get born again takes an individuals actions confessing with mouth and thought and heart which are all things we do the

then God does the miracleof all miracles and were born again a child of God spiritually. The work for a believer daily is to walk

by gods word which in Romans 12:2 which is a lifetime process. All of chapter 3 of collosians has renewed mind keys in thought

and action. Again the work is the process of change in our walk which is required to walk by the spirit. Agapeo.

These scriptures really apply to "Believers in Christ Jesus" & all that will believe : He was bruised for our transgressions, Isaiah 53, Psalms 22:16, Zechariah 12:10, John 19, read through the chapter to see Jesus' piercings, for us. John 3:15-21,

When we believe in Him, we become a new creation, 2Corinthians 5:17-19, therefore we try to: Ephesians 4:24, in that we offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to GOD : Romans 12:1,

Revelation 1:7, I believe the weeping & wailing will be because the amazing person Jesus is & the humble man, with His scars who did it, just for us to be with Him, in His Kingdom : Luke 23:32-48, Matthew 26:28,

Jesus sat with sinners: Matthew 9:10-13, Jesus healed, delivered, feed & accepted the people including harlots, sinners, etc. Just read the Bible & see.

Didn't you know there are springs of water all around that area, even going into Death Valley? & a natural underground water Basin, that flows into parts of California. Trust GOD as we see HIM work out HIS mighty will. Stop looking to anything else as your sources. Also there are several methods of cleaning sea water into drinking water, even used in Space for Astronaut survival. Huntington Beach California wanted to implement during 2016-2018, but illegal immigrant votes in the area stopped the process with petition. Many also continued to waste water, disregarding most laws, opened my eyes to what "lawlessness" is. And lawless men & women in high positions, protecting their lawlessness.     JESUS is the way, the truth, and the life;

No man comes to the Father,

    but by Him.

I and the Father are one

Blessed art thou, O LORD GOD of our fathers:

and to be praised and exalted above all for ever.

Without FAITH, it is impossible to please GOD

    Romans 1:17

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from FAITH to FAITH:

as it is written, The just shall live

    Romans 12:3

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly,

according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of FAITH.

    Ephesians 4:13

Till we all come in the unity of the FAITH, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

this, is every man's walk in CHRIST JESUS, seeking our Fathers Kingdom, from faith to faith, growing in our Redeemer and beautiful LORD JESUS.

HIS HOLY SPIRIT, HE DECIDES THIS!

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I though as a child:

but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

    CHRIST JESUS, HE DOES THIS,

HE WHO THE SON SETS FREE IS FREE INDEED.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:

now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

    What say I then?

Walk in the Spirit and Ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

    And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three;

But the greatest of these is charity

let all things be done decent and in order.

We lift our WONDERFUL REDEEMER CHRIST JESUS HIGH ,

    and JESUS! LORD and KING,

He DOES draw all me unto Him

Increase in FAITH be multiplied to you, And much blessings also, in the beautiful name of our LORD JESUS

Glory to You a Father GOD for ever , Amen

    Alex,

    John 13:34-35, Romans 12:10, 1Timothy 5:1-2,

I felt led to address the phrase you used when addressing GiGi. It was a phrase use by Jesus when addressing the Sadducees, who appearing to twist the story from Tobit, because it clearly says "before they had lien with her". Tobit 3:8, Jesus went on to rebuke & say Mark 12:24,27 Also in Matthew 22:29,

    James 1:16-27, Galatians 5:15-26,

Let's us try to be kinder, not bitey

There are several reasons someone asks this question. I'd like to address the core of your question. If you're having situations in your life that seem impossible, please remember GOD can do impossible! He "said" & the entire Galaxy came into existence, Genesis 1, the Bible is full of GOD's miraculous compassion, 2Kings 7, notice there was a horrible time with horrible actions, 4 leperous men, (usually cast out away from other's because of it) they were in a seemingly hopeless situation. Yet GOD had already made provision for all the City.

GOD cares for us even more than He does the sparrow. 1Peter 4:12-14, 1Peter 1:7-13, hope to the end. 1Peter 2:19-25,

Psalms 139, Matthew 10:22, endure to the end. Exodus 20:13 "Thou shalt not kill."

With that said, instead seek The Savior,John3:15-16, Jesus Christ understands Luke 22:40-48, Matthew 26:36-39, Hebrews 4:15

John 17, Jesus overcame so we can endure through by His example, Revelation 3:21, Romans 12:21 to live is good. 1John 4:4, John 16:33, Hebrews 2:17,18,

We all have to live our own lives & will give account. Matthew 25:31-46, Romans 14:12,

I hope, if you've suffered such a tragic, sad loss, that GOD gives you comfort.

I pray in either situation. GOD gives you direction, hope, encouragement, faith & comfort. Stay in HIS Word.

Hopefully this is helpful. Please let us know if you need prayer.

    Hi Wanda

I used to have similar questions in the past, it's not easy, but we need to trust scripture, and as Suze had a great reply in that we should read the bible and use Jesus life and teachings as our perfect example, especially for what he did for us on the cross.

These are only a few verses that have brought comfort to me to help keep my life in perspective.

Philippians 2:5-11 "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:"

Matthew 5:3-12 "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Luke 23:34 "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots."

Romans 12:16-21 "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."

    God Bless

Read to the end; there is forgiveness.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

Romans 12:1 Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst?

Leviticus 19:28You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the Lord.

1 Kings 18:28 And they cried aloud and cut themselves after their custom with swords and lances, until the blood gushed out upon them.

1 Corinthians 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

Deuteronomy 12:4 "Do not worship the LORD your God in the way these pagan peoples worship their gods."

Leviticus 20:23 You must not live according to the customs of the nations I am going to drive out before you. Because they did all these things, I abhorred them.

Proverbs 16:2All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.

1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

1 Timothy 2:9In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with MODESTY and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array [minidresses, stretchy pants, thick makeup]

You don't have to get them laser'd off. Just pray and admit you just didn't know. Repent: turn around and walk in His forgiveness and be restored.

Dear Donya: The passage in Ephesians 4 is one passage; 1 Corinthians 12 and Romans 12:6 are others. Laying on of hands is indicated in 1 and 2 Timothy as well.

When we see the fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22 we find something which should characterize believers in our new nature. To grow to maturity; we need to have this going on along with the supernatural manifestations with our character development as well. The fact that the greatest of all things is love sort of sums everything up. Also; the fact that edification of the Body is a primary purpose for gifts ( Eph 4:11-12); as well as putting the fear of God in people ( 2 Cor. 14:22) doesn't eliminate the fact that it is better to have a clear message; as well as the fact that all our works are meaningless; even martyrdom without love. Tongues are one of those tricky issues; I am not a cessationist myself; but also realize that almonst nowhere I've been has there been interpretations of tongues; and certainly not consistently. Such a gift I believe in prayer is for self-edification; and in corporate worship for the sake of others in the Body. Discernment is surely underrated and sorely needed today; but many who are immature or tares ignore the sober warnings of those who can perceive intrusions of the enemy in the midst of the assembly. Building up one another in our society of "rugged individualism" doesn't seem to have much importance; hence we have a prosperity gospel which is shallow in doctrine; and manifestations which often are clearly demonic with rolling on the floor; and other uncontrolled behaviours. Keeping in mind John 16:8 as to the affects of a TRUE influx of the Spirit of God is a sobering reminder we need to heed to. As to Prophetic words; a warning of a famine or death such as in Paul's case isn't exactly a "politically correct" utterance; nonetheless true Prophets aren't out to tickle men's ears. And the giver of the gifts must always take prescidence over the gifts.

Dear Mike, no, you can't change the world as Christ did, but you never know whose life your walk with Christ will change. The Bible teaches us to be Christlike. He suffered more than you will ever suffer. Matthew 16:24 "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."

God is still on the throne, nothing gets by Him, He knows your situation. Psalm 46:1 Our Father may put on us more than we can bear, but not more than He can carry for us. God will never put more on you than you and Him can carry, together. "God is our refuge and strength; a very present help in trouble."

The Apostle Paul suffered from a condition the Bible doesn't reveal.

    Romans 12:7-10

7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

    God bless you, Mike!

    Brother Daniel:

I praise God for your response. Grace and peace unto you from our God, the Father in Heaven and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Time is short. We can see 2 Timothy 3 today.

    As you know Timothy 4.

I think it is important to do the following:

    1. Pray (for others, each other, lost people to be saved, Believers for their holiness until Jesus comes, and ALL Leaders in-charged to do the right thing)

    2. Study the Bible ( 2 Timothy 2:15)

Finally sharing our experience helps everyone to see that Jesus Christ is alive and waiting for the fullness of the Gentiles for the glory of God.

    Romans 11:25

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

    Ephesians 4:13

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

I read most comments on this site and we need to be in one mind:

    1 Corinthians 14:33

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

    doeth.

    Romans 12:16

Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

    1 Peter 3:8

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

    Philippians 2:2

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

    Romans 15:6

That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    2 Corinthians 13:11

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Thank you for the opportunity to read your comments. Rejoice evermore!

Teresa, I see value in both ways of dealing with the painful aspects of life; first (and most importantly) bringing them before the Lord in prayer & leaving it with Him to help you through them, and secondly, to seek a sympathetic ear & wise counsel from a trusted caring person. The New Testament Church was always encouraged to look out for each other & to attend to each one's needs ( Galatians 6:2; Hebrews 13:16; Romans 12:13; James 2:15,16; 1 John 3:16,17). God has given us a wonderful access, through His Spirit, right into His Throne room, but He has also provided 'family' used by Him to bring comfort & hope as well.

Sometimes, when we are over-burdened with problems, all that we have to share with another are only our problems & very little else. So your friend might be feeling that all she hears from you are your issues only & sees you in great anxiety or overly depressed because of them. And this might in turn depress her, hence her reaction. In many cases, the person with a huge problem isn't able to think clearly through it (its cause, ways to deal with it, support from others, etc.). That's where 'a friend' needs to be able to really listen & help you work through it & always be there for you. Often, your pastor or Christian counsellor can listen attentively & give good advice & also follow-up. The main thing, is for you to re-gain your peace in heart & mind from the Lord, hang onto Him in both your good & bad times, read His Word, & not give up. He has blessed each one of us with life, life to be lived for Him. So the Author of Life will certainly be with those whose trust rests only in Him. "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning" ( Psalm 30:5). May the Lord guide you very specially in your concerns & help you live above them, looking for His Arm to work mightily on your behalf.

    Ministry of Reconciliation

    part 3.

Ephesians 4:1-3 reminds us to walk in a worthy manner.

The missing element in so many of our human transactions is humility. God is always pleased by humility and always insulted by pride. Jesus, a humble servant, had every reason to be driven by pride, yet He laid His life down for us. Think of the way you forgive others and see if you would like God to forgive you in like fashion. Discard all cheap excuses and do not be shallow in the way you forgive others. Seek out others and ask for forgiveness. Romans 12:18 provides crucial insight into this topic as it tells us that as much as it depends upon us, we are to live peaceably with others. God doesn't judge us on how this ends up, but He is looking for our obedience in this area.

Steps needed for true forgiveness can be outlined in the following manner:

Glorify God. He is always glorified by sincere humility.

Get the log out of your own eye.

Gently restore, remembering your former state.

Go and be reconciled. Do not wait for others to come to you, but err always on the side of humility.

We are a people of fractured relationships. We have broken friendships and severed relationships with loved ones. We may have a long list of reasons for this, but the Bible has never accepted the concept of irreconcilable differences. God took the most irreconcilable problem of all time, our human sin, and fixed it. If He can solve this problem, He can solve any of your relationship problems.

    see part 4.

This is a very interesting point, DJ.

I think primary, our first concerns should be fore the household of faith, and of course, our own families. We are told if we do not provide for our own, we are worse than infidels!

There are some other times to give too, for Scripture tells us so. Romans 12:

20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Having said that, what concerns me today is that many Christians go without, while 'the church' has become the 'welfare provider' for the world! I have done some studying and reading on the roots of the 'social gospel'; there are plenty of good articles about it, and I leave you to study all the good available articles and videos online. This is another gospel, and something that we should be aware of. We are not called to 'make this world a better place'; we are to honor and glorify Christ and preach His gospel.

    Blessings!

Then why does the Bible saw?

1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.

    Dear Jimmy Wayne,

You are not alone. I have felt this way for some time. I think it may be that as we age in Christ we our life is more and more aligned with God's will and His will is contrary to the will of those who age in the world. As we age in Christ we more and more have the mind of Christ and so we hate what is wrong more and more and love what is right more and more. Also, we have more power to refuse to participate in sin, so we have better discernment of people and circumstances, perceiving the sinful and evil that I should avoid, therefore, avoiding even the appearance of evil. Jesus instructed us to let our light shine before men, that they may see the good that you do and give glory to God.

1Sa 31:12 All the valiant men arose, and went all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Bethshan, and came to Jabesh, and burnt them there.

It is not sinful to cremate your body and is the cheapest way of burial. Once we are done with these body's we are done never to return to them; so whatever form you wish to discard your fleshy body has no bearing on your heavenly one. Our flesh ages and gets sick but our spiritual last forever and is perfect able to run and leap like a deer and last forever.

2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Hello Okou, as you will likely get different answers on this subject, I will share my interpretation of the Bible.

Despite what others say, I don't believe anyone gets "saved" while on earth. I don't see that anywhere in the Bible and it seems to be a man-constructed belief. What I see in the Bible is that because of Jesus's sacrifice we have hope of salvation. What I see in the Bible is that our judgment is what will determine our salvation and not everyone will receive salvation. The Bible says we will all be judged on the same day. It says many will go to hell, and few to heaven. What I see in the Bible is that the outcome is contingent upon our choices and behavior. This reality should be absolutely terrifying to some people. Maybe that's what it will take for some people to start taking God seriously and start obeying and fearing Him. Matthew 10:28. Others who are being running the race and fighting the fight can take comfort and have assurance of future salvation. Currently, we have a lot of self-proclaimed Christians goofing off and enjoying having their cake and eating it too, by unconsciously following the world's values, not God, despite Romans 12:2. Matthew 7:21-23 already predicted how this will turn our for them.

1 Peter 1:5 - "...salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." Notice it doesn't say 'now' or while on 'earth'. It says salvation will be revealed in the last time. I interpret this as the end of time, at judgment day.

1 Cor 9:24-27 "run the race", not the 'race was already won.'

Lots of conditional statements throughout the Bible, depending on our behavior and choices. Notice the word "If" a lot...

John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

Hebrews 10:26 "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"

James 2:14-26 "...faith, if it hath not works, is dead..."

Joshua 24:15 "choose you this day whom ye will serve". Notice this is a daily choice.
