This chapter gets into the trials and tribulations of the saints (v. 4); and the subsequent judgment of God in verse 6. One can't help but wonder how great the accumulated sins from the dawn of the church age until now is; and how it factors into wrath once it finally transpires.
(see Rev. 18:5).
Verses 7 through 10 make it clear that indeed the return of Christ; destruction of enemies (in Armageddon and judgment in hell); as well as our promotion ruling and reigning on earth in the Millennial period (verse 10) factors in. There are 3 passages that state every knee shall bow and every tongue confess ( Isaiah 45:23; Philippians 2:10 and Romans 14:11).
We are not to seek vengeance ( Romans 12:19). However; we are doing God no favors by attempting to dampen down a character attribute that He has; in this case rewarding His saints and punishing the wicked. Perhaps those who being persecuted are the best examples of those who understand the need for Divine justice. The saints under the throne in Revelation certainly aren't scolded for asking "how long" ( Rev. 6:9); with response in verses 10-11. With Paul and the churches under heavy persecution at this time this was a necessary statement; and the frequent reminder to endure until the end. In order to warn others of the wrath to come; we certainly must believe in eternal judgment and a literal hell.
If we think people simply cease to exist (or are annihilated) it dumbs down the message and doesn't help anyone to have full conviction of sin ( John 16:8-11).
Dear "Wade Harrids" Acts 2:38 are words that many are saved by, and are my favorite words. It also says that: If there are any pp who doubt whether they should be baptized with water, they usually repent, as they understand the word here. Amen
Personally, i believe that a water baptism is a covenant of good conscience with the Lord. This is also confirmed by one of the Apostles in:
1 Peter 21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Amen.
Personally, i also think we can change the tactics with water burial/baptism. Because many shy people don't actually get baptized. Because of the white apron they will dress with. Shows the most delicate things a person has.
A proper baptism must take place in the person's own everyday clothes. You could probably say that they should be freshly laundered in that case. In the sea under the sky it is not so difficult. But there is probably chlorine in the baptismal font.

There are several reasons someone asks this question. I'd like to address the core of your question. If you're having situations in your life that seem impossible, please remember GOD can do impossible! He "said" & the entire Galaxy came into existence, Genesis 1, the Bible is full of GOD's miraculous compassion, 2Kings 7, notice there was a horrible time with horrible actions, 4 leperous men, (usually cast out away from other's because of it) they were in a seemingly hopeless situation. Yet GOD had already made provision for all the City.

Yes, according to the Bible. It also depends on one's definition of "saved" and when this event occurs. Are people saved while still on earth instantly after they say their first prayer, at some point later, or are they saved after they are judged by God Himself? What does the Bible say...

But then ill think of the web site KJV and my heart lifting up in the high, not sky yet. Here on the web with all my brothers and sisters i feel like home, yes indeed. A good place too be.
Jesus will never leave anyone behind.
But our brother Paul talk alot of sleepy ppl in

Jesus talk about He will wake Lasarus up. Here i read a lot of sleepy/dead ppl who Jesus will wake. Or humbly am i wrong?

Hello, I don't think Mishael checks this comment section. l read your question, I will give you my opinion, an example I went through & scriptures I find relevant. Hopefully these are all helpful.
1st if we're personally bothered in our spirit about something it may be the HOLY Spirit telling us it's wrong. Ephesians 4:30, John 14:23-26, 1Corinthians 2:10-16,
2nd if we're doubtful, is that also indication it's wrong? Romans 14:22-23, scripture in context, whole chapter: Romans 14,
3rd, is this were loving GOD, hating your ._.__ comes in? Are we willing to serve GOD over love of family? Luke 14:26,
4th, Luke 14:27, not being a cross you put in your pocket, around your neck or on the wall: Micah 5:12,13, Deuteronomy 18:9-14, Nahum 1:14, Deuteronomy 4:14-20, Deuteronomy 4:23-25, I even have personal conviction about wearing a cross, since I accepted JESUS as my Savior at young age. Something just bothered me inside about it spiritually. Even though some were special "Christian" gifts. & many people wear them.
5th, One day recently, I saw a "Christian" bookstore selling crucifixion nails as jewelry. I cringed. Then I thought if someone was killed, raised again from the grave; would that person eagerly embrace another that had the weapon or thing that tortured & caused the pain & death, hung around their neck? or would they feel multiple emotions triggered by it? I thought of someone wearing a pill, bullet, ect. of a loved one, in resemblance, remembrance.
Luke 14,
6th, sometimes we're an example to others, in these matters set before us as tests. 1Corinthians 10:13,14, James 1:12, 2Corinthians 3:2,
1st off; GOD is highly intelligent and is JUDGE. HE created all the stars and knows them by name. HE knows when a single hair falls from HIS creatures. HE is a heart knower and only judge who is a righteous and just JUDGE. No one will perish that doesn't deserve too ( Romans 14:12). There is no 2nd chances but there are many who never got a 1st chance. It is written the millennium will be a time of teaching. The elect will be able to go to sister/brother/near kin and try to save them.
John 5:25 There will not be 1 soul that will perish that want have a chance to choose to side with GOD or Satan, choice completely theirs.
Please read: Isaiah 26:19, Ezekiel 37:12,13, Matthew 27:50-54,
John 12:1, Romans 8, Matthew 9:18-25, Matthew 11:5, Matthew 28, Mark 9:9, Luke 24:46, John 2:22, John 5:19-29, = Matthew 25:31-46, John 11:25, John 11:39-53, John 12:9, Romans 14:9, 1Peter 4, Revelation 1:5-8,
As far as Mose's law is concerned please read in the book of Acts when apostle Paul went to Jerusalem, before being imprisoned there, what apostle James said to him: ( Acts 21:17-20)
v17-And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.
v18-And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.
v19-And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.
v20-And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:
Pay attention to "Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law." What this shows? I don't think those Jews were not saved. Now whether this is true only for Jews and not for gentiles, I can not answer.
Now if you want to ask what happens in churches that preach that salvation must be accompanied by good works to get saved, my opinion is that as long as people there are reborn again and get baptised (the two necessary conditions for salvation) no matter what else they practise they still get saved (since they do those for God - Romans 14:6-10). God does not held one account for what one does not know but for what one chooses to do against His will. And some more. In my life I have met christians from those churches that surprise me with the good works they do and have met christians from reborn churches that have no interest at all in doing any good thing to help others. God wants us to become good Samaritans. And lets not forget that in the final judgement that is described in Matthew 25:31-45 people will not be sent to hell according to their faith but according to their works, not for what they had done, but for what they had NOT done.
Hi John. From my understanding of the Word on this subject, I don't connect the Jewish Sabbath (the 7th day), with the Lord's Day (the 1st day of the week). True, there are some who call this day, the Christian Sabbath, but I believe they are errant, as no such special day has been given to us, nor practised by the early Church. When they came on the first day of the week to break bread or collection for the saints ( Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:1,2), it wasn't a Sabbath celebration, but a Christian coming together for worship & fellowship.
Now some believers wish to keep the Jewish Sabbath holy & desist from all work. If that is their desire then so be it, but if one amongst them doesn't keep 'that' Sabbath, there shouldn't be a thought or a snide look or comment to their apparent failure. The one in Christ is free to keep any day for worshipping together & also any day for physical rest (see Romans 14:5,6; & the whole chapter of how a believer should consider others who do things or believe differently from others).
(see Rev. 18:5).
Verses 7 through 10 make it clear that indeed the return of Christ; destruction of enemies (in Armageddon and judgment in hell); as well as our promotion ruling and reigning on earth in the Millennial period (verse 10) factors in. Why do you ask, this question like this?

Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
2 Corinthians 6:16
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people

Stay in the Kingdom of God:
Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
1 Corinthians 4:20
For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
Thank you my fellow believer. I have looked them up. My prayers include Israel visit in the near future. I may attend one of his concert.
Enjoy the kingdom of God.
Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Revelation 13:5 And there was give him (man) a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him for forty two months.
One thousand two hundred ninety days. Forty two months. Three and a half years. Christ ministry on earth.
Daniel 12:11 And from the time daily sacrifice shall be taken away (old covenant) and the abomination THAT MAKETH DESOLATE SET UP, there shall be a thousand two hundred ninety days.
Revelation 11:15 The seventh angel sounded (Christ's resurrection), ....saying, the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign for the age of the age.
John 19:30 .....It is finished ......
Hebrews 2:8 ....we see NOT YET all things put under him.
You commented the other day that just because we don't believe, doesn't make it not so.
Christ said he speaks as if all things are done.
We should look at his words as if all things are done.
Hebrews 4:3 For we which believed (his words) do enter into rest ......the works were finished before the foundation of the world.
Philippians 2:11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Romans 14:11 For it is written, AS I live saith the Lord, Every knee shall bow, and every tongues shall confess
to God.
It's this lake of fire (for our God is a consuming fire) that CAUSES Confession to salvation.
I'm out of characters, give your rebuttal and I will respond.
God Bless YOU!

I will attempt to answer your questions with guidance from the HOLY Spirit. With scripture.

Matthew 3:7, Matthew 16:1, Matthew 16:6, Matthew 16:12,
Romans 14:12, Matthew 18:23, 1Peter 4:1-19,

Gob Bless you.
Romans 14:12, Matthew 12:36, Exodus 27:10,
Now some believers wish to keep the Jewish Sabbath holy & desist from all work.
