Rapture commentary. This subject; along with many others can be either over or under emphasized in our meditation; study and application. We are to "encourage one another" with the words relating to the coming of the Lord ( Romans 14:19). To escape wrath for those that make the Rapture has to mean even; and especially the first seal for several reasons. First of all; Christ personally is the only one who is able to open the seals ( Rev. 5:1-7). Second; a STRONG Delusion is going to come for those who do not LOVE the truth so that they will believe the LIE ( 2 Thess. 2:11). The covenant with Death and Hell ( Dan. 9:27; Isaiah 28:18) will commence. The restrainer will be removed ( 2 Thess. 2:6) that indicates the Spirit working as He does now in the church age.
Judgment begins at the house of God ( 1 Peter 4:17). There are some; who are living rebellious lives now and whose hearts are far from Him who may identify as "Christian"; others never have identified as believers. Whether any truly Born Again individuals are "left behind" or not; it is healthy to read all scriptures. Surely not everyone who professes Christ is "praying always to be worthy to escape ALL that is to come; and to stand before the Son of Man ( Luke 21:36); nor are they like the Philadelphia church to be "kept from the hour of trial" to encompass all the world ( Rev. 3:10). The "fire" of testing our works at the Bema Seat for those who have much wood and stubble will result in them being saved but suffering loss ( 1 Cor. 3:10-11). Many clearly are asleep at this hour; but in any event those who are His will hear His voice ( John 10:27).
The focus of the Rapture tends to be skewed on individual experiences related to visions or dreams on the subject. The Body of Christ is involved in actively being present during His judgments on the earth. Psalm 91:8 shows how we shall only see the judgment of the wicked from afar. We shall rule and reign with Him after He returns ( Dan. 7:27).
If the Spirit speaks to one to keep Sabbath as a rest day, then to that person they should abide - but to another, the Sabbath was not given to Gentiles & any day can be for rest & also for worship ( Romans 14:5,6 & the whole chapter).
Gentile? If you have no Jewish heritage, then you fall under the Gentile category. If the Gentile has not received the Law, he is a law unto himself ( Romans 2:14,15). Of course, all peoples are under governmental law, unless they're hidden away from society. But for both the Jewish Christian & Gentile Christian, the old Law has no more application or binding, for we are now subject to the Law of the Spirit. I don't believe that anyone with the Holy Spirit within them would ever be led to murder, commit fornication, & other sins. If a believer does sin, then he's going against the Spirit's ministry & appealing to his flesh (& this is why Paul spoke of crucifying the flesh ( Galatians 5:24,25)).
Jew? When I wrote, 'Jewish convert', I meant that such a person still retains his Jewish heritage/bloodline, but has relinquished all that kept him bound to his faith (Judaism), finding forgiveness of sins, new life & liberty through the promised Messiah, Jesus Christ. The Jews today still await the Messiah, but Jesus came, but they refused Him & crucified Him ( John 1:10-14). But the day will come when they will acknowledge Jesus ( Zechariah 12:10,11; Revelation 1:7,8). People have in the past become Jewish proselytes, embracing Judaism, its Laws & Practises ( Exodus 12:48,49; Acts 2:10; Acts 6:5; Acts 13:43). I hope that I've covered all your questions; if you have other questions feel free to start a new thread. Blessings.
I think 1st: it's helpful to be ready personally for our personal "time" of accountability. Romans 14:12, Matthew 25:31-46,
When people push end-times fear it blinds the perspective of our personal lives & robs joy, & time. This is the day the LORD has made, let us rejoice & be glad in it. Philippians 4:4, Psalms 118:24,
Matthew 24:36, no man know the day nor hour, not even the angels in heaven. Jesus gave us much to understand closer to that time. Matthew 24, Mark 13, 2Thessalonians 2, if you notice a common command in these "be not soon shaken, in mind, or be troubled...."
This discussion reminds me of Romans 14:5-6 and Colossians 2:16 which speaks of not judging others as to whether they keep one day as holy or not, or celebrate some feasts or not. So to me, each person is free to celebrate unto the Lord as they are led to do. Celebrating Holy Week and Easter (as Resurrection Day) does not focus on pagan traditions but on our Lor's final week of life on earth, His death, and His glorious resurrection from the dead. At our church on Resurrection Day, the pastor loudly proclaims, "The Lord is Risen!" And the congregation lifts up a shout, "He is risen, !" That always captures my heart to praise Jesus as I affirm this great event. To have everyone in the congregation shout in unison is wonderful. So, I find this as bring done for the Lord, as Romans 14:5-6 says. And with Colossians 2:16 in mind, I do not judge others as to whether they celebrate this day or not.
But, I agree with you in that we do need to learn about the pagan aspects of celebrating Christian holidays and weed out those practices that give honor to anyone but our Lord.
1Corinthians 4, understanding 1st pray & read: James 1:5,
1Corinthians 4:1 "Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of CHRIST, and the stewards of the mysteries of GOD." references: Mark 4:11, in context Mark 4:1-34, Romans 11:25, Romans 16:25-27, Ephesians 3, Revelation 10:7, some Old Testament references: Isaiah 53, Psalms 22, Zechariah 13:6, Leviticus 16:17, John 19,
One OT definition of sin is 'transgression of the written law.' Christians are under a much stricter definition of sin - "whatever is not of faith is sin."
Romans 14:23
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
Hello, everyone is a sinner, including Judas (and ourselves). And yes, Judas was a disciple and follower of Christ, both figuratively and literally. So, he was a genuine Christian, but he also genuinely betrayed Jesus, which I think was a form of blaphemy and the unforgiveable sin. That is my personal opinion.
It is one of many examples in the Bible refuting the idea that once you follow Jesus you skip judgment and can commit unlimited sin and blasphemy and follow the world and satan to infinity with zero consequence and that Jesus is somehow totally ok with that. I personally don't believe anyone is 'saved' until we have the day of judgment Romans 14:10, Hebrews 9:27, but believe we can have assurance of salvation for following Jesus. God bless.
Hate, not able to forgive. Its much of this today, becouse the dayes are eval.
Actually our forgivende state is from God. Him Self.
Please remember the 5 comandment. What it says?
All comandments goes up in one in Jesus Christ Holy Name. And its now living in the heart of the beliver. Galatians 3:19-25. It may be better words of this. Love your next/neighbor as your self.
Do u not understand this? Please do for your own sake.
Romans 14:19
If we kill ppl so think att least att those ppl who is left behind. And for your own sake. Today we live becouse God have the last word. Galatians 4:21-31
Galatians 5:16
Man kind can take life, but its not from God. Can we actually kill ppl He have make? Without penalty. And if we undersrand penalty, we go forward to Jesus Christ and ask for forgivnes. Then, He will tell u about sin, grace, freedom, and peace. Galatians chapter 3-4-5. This is the third time i get this word in a werry short time i know u will come to the thruth if u read, its for u. Amen
Gallo Gigi, i pray for everyones request everyday, and i dont need to have a spesial gift too do so. Not everyone get a word, that is the Lord too deside. Thank u for your prays and All glory to the Lord He who know all things, He is the way the truth and life, no one comes too the Father witout Him Jesus. He will have the glory of eternity, on this planet we are all just little grains of sand. But He who has all wisdom and understanding He has triumphed over all things. Now I thank you Gigi for your service, small and great, you must know that the Lord sees and hears everything, even the sighs of hearts Amen.
Be blessed with word from Romans 14:12 and Romans 13:8-10
A person put over someone elses property, affairs, upkeep etc. Trusted with but belonging to another. Here are biblical examples. Genesis 1:26-30, Romans 14:12, In the Church: Hebrews 13:17, Titus 1:7,
Genesis 15:2, Gen 43:19,
Luke 16:1-15, Matthew 20:1-16, Luke 12:36-48,
Prophetic parable about Jesus & the religious Rulers of the time: Matthew 21:28-46, Luke 20:9-20, 'husbandman being "stewad" of the vineyard'
Roman Catholics don't "encourage Sunday" instead of the Sabbath Day. The Sabbath, given to Israel as part of the 10 Commandments, was a specific day of rest (rest from the daily rigors of work). The Jewish Sabbath & Sunday worship have nothing to do with each other. The Sabbath was to be sanctified, i.e. set apart from every other day. On the other six days, man could work in the field, trade goods, travel any distance, & do whatever they needed to get done; but on the Sabbath, they had to rest from all that, so that body, mind & spirit could be refreshed. God rested, though He didn't have to, but His rest was "that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made." ( Genesis 2:3).
We know that the early Church met together on the first day of the week (Sunday), but even if they didn't & continued to observe the Sabbath as both a rest & worship day, then they would have to place themselves under the demands of the Law (the whole Law) & by that Law be judged. What happens if they (or, you & me), fail to fully observe the Sabbath? What happens if suddenly we are required to get some work done, and without thinking, we break the Sabbath? How does God forgive us when we're under the Law? We can't say "we'll observe the Law & if we mess up, then God will forgive us through Christ". It doesn't work like that, because Jesus has "redeemed us from the curse of the law" (curse = death & separation from God is the finality of the Law): Galatians 3:13. One cannot be under the Law & in Christ at the same time - Truths that oppose each other.
If Saturday is to be observed as a worship day (or, any day of the week), then it should be of choice or convenience and not because of a Sabbath significance. Romans 14:5,6b: "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it."
I ask you to pray & I will also pray for you, for protection & clarity & discernment in these matters.
I had a friend years ago that had said 'her mother would say something to people she didn't like about fire to cause them fear' a while after that me & that dearly loved friend had a deep discussion about a medical targeted abortion. I pleaded with her not to be afraid but trust GOD, I had told her how so many things that were wonderful about her that would be in that child. She had already had the abortion. Sometime around that she would say "she had dreams about me & house fires, dangerous & was concerned for my family " after saying that to me multiple times, then no longer speaking to me. It literally bothered me over the years, causing unwelcome concerns. Then I would remember what she previously disclosed & GOD's power & protection. Matthew 5:44,
Peoples words spoken over someone can be curses or blessings but GOD says Edify one another & not to curse. Here are some scriptures: 1 Thessalonians 5:8-11, Romans 14:19, warning, Psalms 62:4, Psalms 109:28,
Remember the promises spoken over us by GOD. : Genesis 12:3, Numbers 22:12, Deuteronomy 11, Nehemiah 13:12, Proverbs 3:33,
"Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;" King James Version (KJV)
But this is the commandments in the ordinances, like what to eat or not eat and so on , not the commandments but everything Jesus and his Apostles said to do is a commandment. Jesus said he didn't come to do away with the law but to fulfill the law. But you know what you can follow the law not to be saved but because you want to honor God or for benefit
I hope this helps, Romans 14:12So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
13Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
14I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
15But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
16Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
17For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
18For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
19Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
20For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
21It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
22Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
23And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
I like all these. I pray for the Lord to give you His strength.

the Judgment Seat of CHRIST; Rom. 14:10= This expression occurs only twice in the New Testament ( Rom. 14:10; 2Cor. 5:10).
Distinguish this Judgment Seat, before which only redeemed saints will stand, from that Judgment described as the "Great White Throne" Judgment, before which only the unredeemed "dead" will stand (read Rev. 20:11-14). These two Judgments are not one and the same.
The expression "Judgment Seat" translates from the Greek noun root (transliterated "bema"; pronounced "BAY-ma"). LORD JESUS CHRIST will preside upon this Judicial Throne, and from which HE will Judge HIS saints according to their works, "whether good or bad", while living upon the earth ( 2Cor. 5:10).
This Judgement Seat will not determine the saints' Salvation or even their qualifications to enter Heaven, for that was set at the moment of confession and belief in JESUS CHRIST as their LORD and SAVIOR. This Judgment will determine what rewards or losses every individual saint will receive or suffer according to their works (cp. 1Cor. 3:13-15).
Indeed. As Paul aptly wrote in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5: "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds); Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."
Our concern now is in the spiritual realm, doing battle with the enemy of our souls. What happens to our physical life as a result of the enemy's or his cohorts' attacks, matters little; "whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's." ( Romans 14:8). And this is the joy & confidence we have in Christ Who has gone on before us & before Whom nothing escapes or is forgotten. We can rejoice in all circumstances, for our names are written in Heaven.
Hello, did you watch the unedited video? I will share what I know just in case. Maybe some are unaware of what actually happened.
Lots of people have made lots of judgments by the edited video that removed key parts, with political intent serving a narrative. The man was already high on drugs in the store, pacing and babbling incoherantly before swallowing a lethal amount of fentanyl. You can literally see it in his mouth on video to swallow right as the cops were onto him. Someone pinned down with knee is standard practice. Countless thousands of people have been restrained with knees without incident. Unbiased autopsy report confirmed he died of drug overdose not asphyxia.
Interesting how the biased news propaganda withheld that resulting in people generally unaware of this or else they don't care, because it doesn't fit the agenda. Also, if someone verbally says they can't breathe they are breathing. Someone who has enough breath to utter the words can breathe. People drowning in water for example, cannot speak, as they are out of breath. He experienced the exact symptoms of a drug overdose and it is very sad. Also sad is that they blamed his own suicide on an innocent cop that from the angle made it look like he was harming him, but that was not true and confirmed by experts. What a shame that people can't agree on what the truth is anymore and let political preferences influence what they want to see.
The main stream media is mostly a leftist religious organization at this point. There is very little truthful information being presented anymore without a political goal. Most of the positive things in the world are generally ignored and alternative viewpoints are generally disregarded. Christians are marginalized. If someone doesn't conform to the world's distorted morals they will often be publicly shamed and canceled. But some day I believe the truth will be revealed. Injustices made right. Some day every knee will bow to the Lord. Romans 14:1
In 1 Timothy 5:23, Paul is telling Timothy "Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities."
The water in those days was very polluted and people were becoming diseased from it. And people in those days took a small amount of wine and mixed it with water. In those days, it was 9 parts water and 1 part wine. (Nothing like our wine today). Back then, it did not have the alcohol content, the fermentation as our alcoholic beverages do today. It took quite a while for you to drink, and that's why the wedding feast would last an entire week. It took a long while to get drunk! Today, a person can actually get drunk pretty quick on wine. But they took a little wine for their stomachs sake. It was for medicinal purposes because of how bad the water was.
And it's kind of interesting that if you notice how it's worded, it's a command, because Timothy doesn't want to go near this stuff. In fact, back in 1 Timothy 3:3, one of the characteristics of the overseer is that they're not given to wine. So Timothy is saying "I'm staying clear of that stuff." And so Paul has to command him, take a little wine for your stomachs sake, and for your often infirmities.
Obviously Timothy was a sick person, not in good health. And he was told to take a little wine for his stomachs sake. Paul just got through telling him to keep yourself pure, and so he has to mention this to him because Timothy is wrestling with this issue about keeping himself pure.
As far as if it's okay to have a glass of wine or not, something we need to take into consideration is Romans 14:23 where it says that which is not of faith is sin. Understanding that the word faith literally means persuasion, one must ask before indulging in a glass of wine if it is the Lord persuading them to do so? I'm not trying to be judgmental, but this is something we need to consider in all things. Whatever we are doing, is it under the Lord's persuasion?
Clean and Unclean Food Questions - In Reply - 3 years ago
Leviticus 11 are the food laws. In Acts 10 the Lord deals with Peter for refusing to eat food he believed unclean. 3 times.
Food cooked responsibly and received with prayer and thanksgiving is clean. The power of "clean" is in Jesus Name.
Even John the Baptist ate roasted locusts. Follow the scriptures and don't be in bondage to laws. The law is the School Master until Grace comes; who is Jesus.

Yes I believe the little children and some mentally challenged people will go to heaven.
Here's why, There seems to be an age of accountability.
Deuteronomy 1:39. Here Joshua reminds Israel of the decree given by God in Numbers 14:21-33. Here the age of accountability is 20 years old.
James 4:17. I don't see a one year old knowing he's in need of a savior.
Romans 14:12. This is something a child can't do.
King David seems to think at least babies go to heaven in 2 Samuel 12:19-23.
Today this may have more to do with maturity which differs from one kid to another.
Perhaps at an early age one may know good from evil but lack full knowledge and understanding of the gospel, and need of a savior. I hope this helps.
God bless.
Blessings.

And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
God bless.
Actually our forgivende state is from God. Him Self.
Please remember the 5 comandment. What it says?

: Genesis 12:3, Numbers 22:12, Deuteronomy 11, Nehemiah 13:12, Proverbs 3:33,
Proverbs 26:2,
Hopefully this helps remember: John 16:13,
"Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;" King James Version (KJV)
23And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

and toasted. Reminds me of Jude verse 24.
1Cor. 3:13-15).
Food cooked responsibly and received with prayer and thanksgiving is clean. The power of "clean" is in Jesus Name.

John 11:40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
Allready before the Lord have being in the dark places of earth He raised up Lasarus. Be comforted in His Holy Name. Now we know what to expect. In love for Jesus love u in Christ. Amen
