2 Timothy 2:15 is a powerful verse. If we do not learn how to rightly divide the word of truth, we will be lost understanding the chain of events from the time God brought the Hebrews from the Land of Egypt until The Christ Lord Jesus died on the cross up to our time today which is approximately 2,000 years. Honestly, we do not have time. As you all noticed the rapid days go by quickly as God says 2 Peter 3:8 and you see Psalms 2:1-12

I do not mind repeating to all that the Bible is a complete book Revelation 19:13 for us today to prepare ourselves and others. I pray all to be saved. We cannot have the people caught unaware of Matthew 24:37. To rightly divide is to know for us today what we need to do. So I will say that the 11 apostles messages are important for the physical Jews Matthew 10:5-7 at the end time; and there are verses in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John that pertains to a spiritual Christians of today.

God had chosen Paul to be His vessel so we can read and believe not in vain. Study the Book of Romans to Philemon because he was the Last and believe it or not the 12th Apostle Galatians 1:1, Acts 9:15, Acts 13:47, Acts 22:21, Roman's 11:13, Ephesians 3:8, 1 Timothy 2:7, Galatians 1:16. After Jesus died He says Hebrews 9:14-17. Then you are Ephesians 1:12-14, 2 Timothy 2:19 and 2 Corinthians 1:22. Therefore, 1 Corinthians 9:2 just like Romans 15:28. Ephesians 4:30 and sing Psalms 49:8, 111:9, 130:7. In conclusion my fellow-believers, Paul is sealed 1 Corinthians 9:2 by God to be our apostle today. Weneedtoputtheworkof Paul not in vain Galatians 6:11. Paul tells us Romans 2:16, Romans 16:25, 2 Timothy 2:8. And the gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Then we are sealed Ephesians 1:13. Perhaps you are not understanding me because Revelation 18:4, Proverbs 20:1, Roman's 7:11, 1 Corinthians 6:9, 1 Corinthians 15:33, Galatians 6:7, 1 Timothy 2:14, 2 Timothy 3:13, Titus 3:3, and lastly Revelation 18:23. Thanks David. I hear what you're saying, that "God looks at the heart and not the intellect; that agreement on all beliefs is not required for God to work." And I agree with you.

When the need (or, question) has arisen that requires a response to help one grow in love or in their "walk with God", then yes, there's no need to initiate a discussion/debate on how one understands that this can happen. It will just be opinions on how one has found their love or growth has increased, and this can vary & be specific to each one of us.

And yes, "we don't fight (or even need to fight) for God or His Word"; if by that you mean, that both God & His Word remain eternally consistent & true & what man may offer in contradiction, will never alter the facts. But what happens when the Word is believed but the Truths within it are being compromised, altered, or incorrectly taught? I hear one say, 'don't let that bother you - God is in control - His Word stands sure - His Spirit will guide into all Truth'.

Then why should the apostles have bothered about the health of Christ's Church & be perturbed about false doctrines/teachings entering in? Such as, 2 Peter 2:1-3 (false prophets/teachers); Romans 16:17,18 (wrong doctrine brought in, causing divisions); 2 Timothy 2:17,18 (no future resurrection, destroying the believers' faith); Galatians 1:6-9 (another Gospel); Some of 1st John (refuting Gnostic teaching); core verses in 1 John 2:22,23: "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. And onto 1 John 4:3 (next page).

You are welcome. Please allow me to make myself be clear. Please read the entire chapter of John 1. John1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. When you see capital letter "W" Word in the Bible it means Jesus Christ. John 1:14. The lower case "w" word means the Bible. You cannot come to God the Father but by Jesus Christ John 14:6-7; For through him (Jesus Christ) we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Ephesians 2:18; it is a mystery Colossians 2:2-3; God gave to Jesus everything we need to know Revelation 1:1. In conclusion, There is one God the Father, one God the Son the Lord Jesus Christ, and one God The Holy Spirit. Three persons if you will, manifested from ONE GOD. Amen, good stuff! After reading what you wrote, Romans 16:17 comes to mind, "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them."



Now I appeal to you, brethren, and listen to this, the command.



Mark them which cause divisions and offences.



The word mark is the work Skopos. We get our word scope from this word. And it in a present participle form in the Greek, which means continue to observe.



Be continually looking at those who cause divisions and offenses, Scandalons, contrary to the doctrine which you have learned.



Paul said in Galatians Chapter 1 that if anybody preaches any other gospel than that which he has preached, let them be accursed.



That's pretty bold and authoritative. If they don't preach. Or if they preach contrary to the doctrine which Paul has taught and has given them, mark them. That's command number one. Command number two is avoid them.



The word avoid means to go out of your way to avoid them. It's the word bend. If you are walking right at somebody, just bend yourself right around them. You give them the message that they are teaching false doctrine.

Luke 16:19-26. The only passage that Jesus Himself talks about where a person goes after he dies. There is Heaven and Hell. I pray all will be saved. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 3:25; 1 John 2:2; 1 John 4:10.

Acts 1:25; John 17:12 Judas Iscariot is the son of perdition. He went to his own place. Revelation 17:8

These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. Jude 1:16-19.

Yes I understood the same way you do. I just wanted to ensure that we saved as many people on this site. That is why it is important to take time to explain based on the Bible. The Book of Acts is a transitional book. Luke did a magnificent job inspired by God writing the chain of events after Jesus Christ died on the cross. Peter and the rest of the Apostles concentrated on preaching to the Jews, but when they have rejected it three times Paul went to the Gentiles. But Jews and Gentiles today can be saved by the mystery of the Gospel of Paul 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. We are saved by grace through faith. We are baptized by trusting on Jesus Christ's death, burial and resurrection meaning trusting on the blood of Jesus Christ. Christ Jesus already went to the most Holiest of Holy to sprinkle His own blood as the Jews did on earth. So anybody today can be saved by that blood. Once you are saved, the mysteries are revealed by the Holy Spirit. We are the Body of Christ, the Bride of Christ, knowing Christ in you.

Mat 22:39 I here so many question and concerns of are we to love our neighbor/enemies: As always search scripture. one who fallows CHRIST and tries to be a good neighbor you love as you love all Christian brothers who fallow the doctrine of CHRIST. The 1st and greatest commandment is to love GOD with all your heart and soul and if you do you would be a good neighbor. Is upon the head of any head of house to protect you family with your life if need be. Would you let a neighbor walk in your home and abuse 1 of your family? I hope you said no.

Paul wrote: Rom 12:18 Many look over "If it is possible" sometimes it just is not possible to get along and you don't ever let someone run over you. If you have a neighbor that does not love GOD and commits egregious acts against you; he cannot be of GOD but of Satan, 2 John 1:7. Do you love Satan? I hope you said no. Anyone that does not fallow the doctrine of CHRIST we are to not so much as wish them a good day 2 John 1:10. We love our enemies only after they have turned from their sins against you and accept doctrine of CHRIST, 2 John 1:9, not until. CHRIST tells us Math. 10:14 if they do not accept doctrine to turn from them, wiping even their dirt off. If they sin against you and repent and ask for forgiveness then you forgive but if they don't then have nothing to do with them until they do.

Leviticus 19:15-:18 GOD tells us what being a good neighbor is. If he is self-professed Christian (brother) and he breaks these rules then scripture tells us to set him aside until he repents and ask for forgiveness. If he doesn't then vengeance is the Lords. You will be blessed while he has to watch; perhaps he eventually comes to senses an wants the good life you have. But if you are unlucky to get an evil neighbor you best be on guard, Christians are not 2nd class citizens where we allow to be stepped on.

Diane by no means do you put up with abuse of any kind. You are a child of GOD, a Christian; not a 2nd class citizen and Christians should never let anyone walk on them. In Mathew 18:15-:20 you admonish them showing them the error of their way and if they don't ask for forgiveness and repent than rebuke them and set them aside ( Romans 16:17). That means don't hang out with them, putting yourself through any chance for abuse, don't hate them but be pleasant like it doesn't bother you, live your life as a Christian who will be blessed. When they see how good your life is, then they will want it too. These people you are talking about do not sound like Christians to me, if they were they would not abuse. Therefore you do not put up with them but put them aside until/if they have a change of heart. Yes love your enemies if they have turned from their ways and accepted CHRIST. Talk to them and tell them how you feel if that does no good then live in peace and harmony knowing their sin is not on you. 2 Thessalonians 3:6-:14 Luke 17:3,4. Someone has to ask for forgiveness to receive it. When that happens they must repent and have a complete change of heart, making a commitment to never do it again. You are under no obligation to forgive one that does not come to you and ask. But for your own health, in your own heart it is better that you do and move on, because it will turn to hate and bitterness where the devil will sneak in.

Who is this Rufus? Why do we consider him?

Rufus is the best example, the promise given by Jesus Christ himself is still in effect. Rufus is a Son of Simon a Cyrenian who bore Christ's cross for a while ( Mark 9:41, 15:21). It is the true and greatest joy for Simon a Cyrenian to know his Son found Christ and saved and has a notable place in Paul's Salute. ( 3 John 1:4)

The Apostle Paul ( Romans 1:1), who was originally named Saul ( Acts 7:58) of Tarsus ( Acts 22:3), but eventually became known as Paul ( Acts 13:9), dictated the letter to Tertius ( Romans 16:22). In light of much of today's erroneous doctrine; particularly occurring among female megapastors (sometimes in conjunction with their husbands) we can perhaps better appreciate Paul's admonition that a woman not teach or exercise authority over a man ( 1 Tim 2:12). There were certain protocols or roles that exemplify the elder/pastor; deacon; and Bishop as to personal behavior to qualify for the position and the way the job was to be carried out. In 1 Cor. 11 verse 2:16 we see that women WOULD pray and prophesy (apparently related to public worship). The instruction for head covering indicates submission to men and relates to their role with the church; some of which seems rather mysterious related to the angels and glory. As for a Deacon; apparently Romans 16:1 indicates that indeed Phoebe was in such a position AND commended by Paul. Since this word also translates "servant"; the role could signify a different sort of role here. It should also be remembered that the admonitions seen in the above verses and elsewhere mention the church as the emphasis; there are other verses indicating the way a woman is to submit in silence outside the church with their husbands. Given the instructions of women Titus 2 indicates women are to teach what is good and other verses (including some in the Old Testament Psalms and Proverbs) show wisdom given from mothers as well. There is an exception somewhere where a woman instructs a man (I believe it is Lydia and Barnabus) in the matter of the Holy Spirit and correct teaching since his understanding of the role in the time of John the Baptist.

I can't seem to find it; but again this would be a private matter outside church worship. However; a believing wife could explain the way of salvation to her husband; provided she is still submissive in any way that would not damage her living for the Lord. It would seem the best way to reach another spouse generally is by example of behavior of a believer to the nonbeliever.

The epistle was written during Paul's third missionary journey, at Corinth where he spent three months. He had just come from Ephesus where he had spent three strenuous years.

Dr. Griffith Thomas makes an interesting observation: "Certain names point clearly to Corinth as the place whence this Epistle was written." The picture of the gross immorality of the Gentiles in Rome is a picture drawn from the Corinth of Paul's day.

OCCASION: This letter was brought forth by natural reason. Paul wished to visit Rome on his way to Spain. The letter was taken by Phoebe, deaconess of Cenchrea ( Romans 16:1).

FOUNDER OF THE CHURCH AT ROME: Paul had not visited Rome when he wrote this epistle. In this respect it is different from all others, with the possible exception of the Epistle to the Colossians. No apostle had preceded Paul to Rome; obviously, Simon Peter had not. The Roman church was largely a gentile church, and Peter was not the apostle to the Gentiles ( Galatians 2:7). Paul's method was not to follow another apostle, and it is not likely he would have gone to Rome had another apostle preceded him.

Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation. ( Romans 15:20)

In a very definite sense, Paul was the founder of the church at Rome. This great metropolis drew men to its streets and marketplaces from all over the empire as if it were a magnet. Many whom Paul had led to Christ in other places made their way to Rome and witnessed there. The church in Rome was the assembly of these folk. This is not mere speculation, as Priscilla and Aquila are examples.

Paul had first met them in Corinth and led them to Christ ( Acts 18:1-3). Later they returned to Rome.

Paul mentions 35 individuals by name in chapter 16. Of these, 27 were living in Rome at this time. These he must have met elsewhere in the.

This is a theological idea of deaconess as it is said that Phebe was a deaconess that is not translated from the Greek word because it is a lie. The epistle, which Apostle Paul wrote about Phebe who was not a deaconess that does not come from the Greek word. This is the men's theological concepts that are not what Apostle Paul was addressing to the churches because the theological men didn't exist in Apostle Paul's ancient life which means since 2000 years after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are Americans who don't have to learn the Greek language because we are not born in Greece except those are willing to learn the Greek. You replied to me recently that I do think that women completed the works of devices mentioned in your posts over the centuries and still do in many churches. Perhaps the early church did not call them deaconesses formally, but the name was eventually given to women who do this type of service. In NT times and in many cultures it is inappropriate for a man to minister in such ways to women. It is doubtful a man would be a mid-wife or doula in NT times, but a women in a church fellowship would do such service. And it was unlikely in NT or in some cultures that a man would tend to a sick women or child, nor dress their wounds, bath them, nor cool and clean for a women taken to bed. So, women in the church took on these roles, and ministered to women and children as helpers and teachers.

You don't get me wrong about the services or works of women's ministry because you can say whatever you want to believe and proclaim women's cultures in their churches anywhere, but there is the only ONE ministry even as the apostles' doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the scriptures of Acts 2:42 KJV [42] And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

There is no such thing about deaconness found and literally written in the King James Version Holy Bible Edition 1611 except only the Biblical word "deacon(s)" according to the scriptures of 1 Timothy 3:8-13 KJVS
