    Hi Cindy,

    ,

    Romans 1:18-28 (KJV) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to UNCLEANNESS through the lusts of their own hearts, to DISHONOUR THEIR OWN BODIES between themselves:

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up unto VILE AFFECTIONS: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is AGAINST NATURE:

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

    And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

    FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT

It is what it says it is. You forsake God, He will forsake you. 2 Chronicles 15: 1-3 KJV And the Spirit of God cameupon Azariah the son of Oded: (2). And he went out to meet Asa and said unto him. Hear ye me, Asa, and Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.

    NEW Testament

Romans 1: 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity, whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful; 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do them.

The Scriptures about the Godhead. Sometimes called "Let Us..." in some passages.

    Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7

    Isaiah 6:8

    Romans 1:20

    Colossians 2:9

    Acts 17:27-30

    1 John 5:7

    John 10:30

These are scriptures of when the 3 persons of the Godhead were speaking to each other.

I was taught that Adams name means, Man. Eve's name means, Man with a womb.

Adam and Eve were of flesh, soul and spirit up until they ate of tree. Then the spiritual connection was severed.

By being Born Again, Jesus restores that spiritual connection through the Holy Spirit who indwells us.

    Reply to Rod:

Using the Search Box on this website; type in the words, Trinity or Triune. Those 2 words ARE NOT in the King James Bible. Cover to cover.

If you type GODHEAD, you'll see 3 scriptures be fetched by the search engine. Read these.

    Acts 17:32

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

Comment: people will buy paintings of the Godhead and decorate their walls.

    Romans 1:20

For the invisible things of HIM from the creation of the world are CLEARLY SEEN, being understood by the things that are made (us), even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

    Colossians 2:9

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead BODILY.

Comments by me. Genesis 1:1 is clearly understood. God Wills; Jesus (The Word) speaks; the Holy Spirit performs. "Time. Force. Action. Matter". Four things all scientists have tried to explain throughout time. Earth is the only planet that has water.

Christians have the mind of Christ. We're all enabled to see the Godhead at work; on earth and in our lives. How? The Holy Spirit indwells us in our born again spirits and teaches us the Word of God. Seek and you will find.

If we can just read the Bible and accept what is written in it; believe, apply to our lives; and like little children do: believe what God says about Himself. If you doubt or debate, you're in a ditch. Your faith is a shipwreck.

God is on the Throne. Jesus sits at the right hand of God, making intercession for The Saints of God. That's us. The Holy Spirit is present on Earth, PERFORMING what is in the mind of Jesus Christ.

How hard is that to understand? The Godhead works together every moment. A Bible ENCYCLOPEDIA shows all of the Holy Spirits names. There are many. Learn all of them. Praise and worship that He is at work in your life. Do not grieve or quench the Holy Spirit.

I am very familiar with the list of sins as declared in Romans chapter 1 & have never denied the severity of them & that judgement is certain on all who are given to any type of sin.

The problem I have with your understanding, as others here do, is the manner in which you force Scripture to mean what it is never intended to mean. A good example is in what you have just written about Romans 1: "those in S&G have changed into images like animals, birds, creeping things and vipers you do not believe that scripture also stated in Romans 1".

So, you believe that those in Sodom have actually changed into those images, or at least, that's how God sees them (& us). Whereas what does the verse say? Verse 23: "And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God INTO AN IMAGE made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things." How does changing the Glory of God (i.e. His Image) into the likeness of animals (i.e. into an idol), suddenly become "that we have become into images like animals, birds, etc."?

So, my perception is still correct: you have developed in your mind that the severity of sin, especially unnatural sex/fornication is the root cause for all sin to emanate from, that everything you see in Scripture points to & supports your belief - even if it means a total denial of the natural understanding of the Scripture. At least on this website, you won't find support, as there will always be someone to withstand such a skewed understanding - though I don't know what effect this type of teaching has on those who might visit your website or read your books. I won't even begin to comment on the rest of your discussion here, when even the basic principles of comprehension are not adhered to. Thank you for your time.

  • Chris - In Reply on Hosea 8:4 - 3 years ago
Thank you for that information; I would have liked to know more about the first Bible you mentioned, with the missing first page, & done some research on it. I can agree with the other reference you gave from the other Bible (i.e. Genesis 6:5 with Romans 1:28-31), even though I don't have that particular cross reference in my Bible. But to connect Jeremiah 2:23 to Genesis 3:12.13 is mystifying to me.

Anyway, I tried to do a Cross-Reference search via Open Bible & I did find these two references, along with many others, that were cross referenced to Genesis 3:12,13. Maybe you could go back to that old Bible you used to find this reference & see where the cross reference is applied, as where the a, b, c, etc are placed are important.

Apparently, in Genesis 3:13, the phrase "What is this that thou hast done?" is the connection to Jeremiah 2:23, "know what thou hast done". So the cross reference has nothing to do with dromedaries, but only a connection to "thou hast done". Any other connection would seem totally unreasonable, whether in context or in English usage. So, I won't pursue further your application of the dromedary to how God looks at us sinners; or even the use of other animals (fish, gnats, creeping things, etc.) for the same reason. Maybe, it might be interesting to check out your other cross references, particularly associating the various types of fornication to being the cause of other sins. As you know, I understand that fornication is just another sin along with every other sin.

I have used three different Bibles. One I had to put away, it was overused and worn out and the first page is gone that tells me who printed it. That Bible gives me the cross reference from Jeremiah 2:23, "(1)How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? See thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done; thou art a swift dromedary traversing her way." A swift dromedary is a camel, a beast. And the cross-reference in my King James Study Bible takes us back to Adam and Eve. (1) Gen. 3:12, 13 "The woman thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree and I did eat." Husbands and wives who commit original sin cannot say they are not a false image of God for they are a false image and they break the second commandment. When God looks at them, he sees a camel. The other two do not give that reference. This explains the woe to the hypocrites that say you strain at a nat and swallow a camel. You preach about the lesser sins which are not a trespass and then you commit a trespass, swallow a camel.

I use a Bible from NBP, The National Bible Press-Philadelphia. That one gives many references to Romans 1. Example, Gen. 6:5, (1) "God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." The cross reference (1) sends me to Romans 1:28-31."

The other Bible I use is published by "The world Publishing Company in Ohio. It also gives many references to Romans 1. In my study notes I have recorded many cross references to Romans 1. And there are many.

When you understand the second commandment that those given to unnatural sex are seen by God to be animals, creeping things, fish, beasts, etc, then look at how many times those are mentioned in scripture. Example: Peter fished for fish and God told him to go out into the deep and you will catch men. You have to think deeper to put men and women in the church. Beasts are mentioned over and over again in Scripture.

You mention Romans 1:21-24. Verse 23 ""And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into images made like to corruptible man, and birds, and fourfooted beasts and creeping things." Those people mentioned in Romans, those given to unnatural sex, have made false images of God. They are false images of God. When God looks at them he sees, animals, beasts, birds, and creeping things. This breaks the second commandment which reads, " Ex. 20:4 "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." God sees the sexually perverse as animals, etc. Remember when he comes to earth he states this is a generation of vipers? A viper is a snake and Jesus sees an entire generation as snakes---creeping things.

God sees Adam and Eve as camels. Jeremiah 2:23, " How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? See thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done; thou art a swift dromedary traversing her way." A swift dromedary is a camel, a beast. And the cross-reference in my King James Study Bible takes us back to Adam and Eve. Gen. 3:12, "The woman thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree and I did eat." Husbands and wives who commit unnatural sex cannot say they are not a false image of God for they are a false image. God see them as a camel. They break the second commandment. When God looks at them, he sees a camel.

Where have all the Churches gone ? As I witness less and less of ungodliness in these current times I realise that in my own awakening that I am searching for a place to gather with others and share the word of God. Where does one turn too at this time ? I happened to visit a local parish church recently and behind the masked presence of the priest whom spoke to me behind the mask of which I couldn't understand I asked myself the question, 'to whom are these people bowing to authority'. Romans 1:21 - 1:24 seems to be the answer, in that the Church has 'changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man'... I am new to the bible brought on through spiritual awakening because of what's I see going on, so where are those who live out the bible showing me how to become wise, how to search for the truth ?

When you say we are told not to change the bible, I'm happy that we agree on something, when you talk of the many different bible versions, I'm also aware that there is, but chose to only read the KJV, I'm sure they're meant to be more relevant to today's english but as in 2 Corinthians 11:12-15 Satan can transform himself into an angel of light and deceive many, just by changing a few words. Fornication is most certainly a terrible sin throughout society today and also in biblical times, and is mentioned 35 times in the KJV but when you look at Romans 1:20-32 and Galations 5:14-26 it is only one of many sins of the flesh. "Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents," to name just a few. John 8:3-11 Jesus forgive a woman caught in adultery, John 4:6-43 the Samaritan woman at the well living in fornication was one of the first women evangelist. Luke 18:10-14 "The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." he was not justified, Luke 23:43 the first person Jesus took to paradise was a thief on the cross. Sin in whatever form is evil in God's eyes, but I'm sure your well aware of that. Just as God judged the people in Sodom and Gomorrah and in Noah's day, I try (sometimes I fail) to let God judge the transgressors of today, and focus on the narrow road to the cross for my Salvation. Because as in Luke 17:32 "Remember Lot's wife." we don't want to turn into that pillar of salt.

Some of my favorite scripture to help me keep things in perspective is the Beatitudes and sermon on the mount, and also Luke 10:27-37 the story of the good Samaritan.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

    Hello Annetta,

I totally agree with you on the word "debt" or "debtors" used in the our Fathers prayer. Making you kind of think it's of monetary matters. As when I pray to our Fathers I state "Forgive us of all our sins, trespasses, and iniquities". As my heart, and the Holy Spirit, have lead me to say this instead of just "debts" as is written.

The thing is that the KJV Bible from 1611 originally had the words "debt" and "debtors" in the prayer. Link The Greek word is "opeheilema" with the Strongs definition of "something owed that is (figuratively) a due .; morally a fault".

Then right after the prayer in Matthew 6:14-15 it states about forgiving others their "trespasses". The word for "trespasses" is another Greek word "paraptoma" with the Strongs definition "a side slip (lapse or deviation) that is (unintentional) error or (wilful) transgression". Also to be known as a sin or misdeed. The other Greek word can also be taken as sin or offense.

I agree with you about how using the word "debt" in the prayer doesn't really feel right. Although that was the original word used from the year 1611 in the KJV Bible.

Hope that helps clear up that the KJV Bible has not been changed. God Bless.

On Matthew 6:12 - why do you say debt and debtor and no longer trespass and trespasses? "Forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us," has meaning and inspiration. It inspires someone (like me) to really think of what it means to keep holding onto bad thoughts or grudges against another while I am asking God to forgive me. How can I ask for forgiveness when I am not giving it? Trespass/trespasses causes me to open my heart and mind and to seek to love others as Christ loves me. Whereas, the words "debts and debtors" inspire me to think of monetary matters. As Jesus tells us "money is the root of all evil," I find myself dismayed and turned off by any Bible which has removed trespass and replaced it with debt. It is especially hurtful to see this happen in a King James Bible. I was holding out hope that with all the false teachings and false Bibles in the world today, the King James Bible would remain true to the word of God.

  • Chris - In Reply on Micah 6:8 - 3 years ago
Fornication, in the Bible, is not just pre-marital sex, but any type of sexual behaviour that is outside of marriage. So the teaching from Jesus, the Apostles & all of Scripture is that any sexual activity outside the bounds of marriage is sin before God as sex was made for the enjoyment & bringing forth of a new life within the sanctity of marriage. In any other situation, it becomes an abuse of God's design & therefore, sin.

Some Scriptures for you to share: Matthew 15:19,20: all sin (some listed here), first starts in the heart of man & when it is conceived there, it brings forth sin & sin ultimately ends in death & judgement.

Romans 1:27-32: speaks of homosexuality & all manner sin that God let men loose to perform because of their wickedness & ultimately will face His Judgement.

1 Corinthians 5:1: the fornication of a son having sexual relations with his step-mother.

1 Corinthians 6:13: our bodies were made to serve God not to serve the flesh (sensuality & abominable acts).

1 Corinthians 6:18: fornication is sin against one's own body. He or she abuses the privilege of an act within marriage by disregarding its special position in committed love & as a gift of God.

1 Corinthians 10:8: 23,000 people were judged & destroyed by God because of their fornication.

Galatians 5:19-21: lists the works of the flesh; all who engage in these sins will never enter God's Presence.

Jude 7: the example of Sodom & Gomorrah is given where many were given over to fornication, homosexuality & other sins & were destroyed by God.

These are a few pertinent Scriptures for you to use, but if you're talking to an atheist who doesn't even believe in the existence of God, you would need to tell him/her about the reality of God through Creation, His sustaining of the worlds in space, His creation of humans with all their biological intricacies, His Love for all but judgement to those who spurn His Love & live selfish, sinful lives. We were made to find pleasure in God - not in sin.

This type of situation can be annoying & upsetting when your act of kindness gets abused. I assume that you have raised the matter with your neighbours so that they are aware of it & that they still pursue this attitude & action.

You could do as your wife suggests & write-off the extra costs, as the 'Christian thing' to do, but if that will only leave you constantly upset & out-of-pocket, then you might have to consider other options. If these utilities have a direct connection to your mobile home, they would have their own meters; then you can specify to them that your charges of rent only apply to the use of the home only - they have to meet other costs (you could even lower your rent slightly to allow for that). If their bills don't get paid then the utilities are cut off. Or if you feel more generous, keep your rental cost the same & offer to pay for half of their utility bills.

If however, they get their utilities via your meters, it becomes more difficult & expensive. You might have to consult your utility suppliers to have a sub-meters installed that will record water/electricity usage to the mobile home. And then apply the same arrangement for the tenant to pay those bills.

Since there is probably no rental contract involved here, you can advise them that the monthly rental cost will fluctuate depending on what you determine their usage will be according to the bills you receive. This however, would not be the best option & a lot of disputes will come up as to what they have or have not used. Or else, just raise the rent across the board to be able to meet at least some of the extra costs.

But from a Christian view point, I wouldn't allow this issue to keep on going in the way it is. It needs to be dealt with & the people need to know that they do wrong by over-using your resources. Or else, just turn a blind eye & allow God to meet your extra expenses & to deal with them accordingly. In any case, a proper contract needs to be in place.
