    It's called an unclean spirit. When our guard is down and we hear too much worldly input; it squishes out of us. Ask forgiveness from everybody who heard it. It's spiritual warfare. Put on that helmet of salvation :)
    I go on YouTube and watch some Mario Murillo sermons. You'll feel better.

    From a religious viewpoint, swearing or cursing is generally considered sin. The main reason swearing is considered sin is because it reflects evil intent coming from one's heart, rather than merely the content of the word that is spoken. From a Christian perspective, swearing and cursing is not limited to just verbal expressions

    The commandments of God are comprehensive and far reaching; in a few words they unfold the whole duty of man. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength..Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Mark 12:30, 31. In these words the length and breadth, the depth and height, of the law of God is comprehended; for Paul declares, Love is the fulfilling of the law" Romans 13:10. The only definition we find in the Bible for sin is that "sin is the transgression of the law 1 John 3:4. The Word of God declares, "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23. There is none that doeth good, no, not one.

    Bob Hilt you are right. Check this out; Rom 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel." Notice he didn't say God's gospel. HIS gospel? Acts 16:28-31, Paul has the opportunity to tell this man what it takes to be save. Luke 18:18-25. Jesus has the opportunity to tell this man. Hey wait until they kill me and believe on my blood and you shall be save. Paul teaching is difference from Jesus Christ. God greater then Jesus! St John 14:28 Rom 8:11and St John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing- Rev22:12-14 St John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do." Psalm 72:17-18 Read and compare. Ty

    Dear Victor, thanks for the reply. I replied to your assuming Paul was lying and I replied with points that counter that claim. Your response here seems to be on a variety of different topics which I don't completely understand.

    >Stop praising the man

    Are you talking to me, because I'm not praising a man, are you? You make a claim that Paul was lying and refuting that doesn't mean someone is praising someone if that's what you were assuming.

    >Paul and rest of those boys Changed the truth of God into Lies.

    Now you're making other claims. What 'boys'? What 'lies'? Are you trying to discredit the Bible? If so, how do we know that what you're saying is true and not a lie?
  • Bob Hilt - In Reply on Romans 3 - 4 years ago
    Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
    2 Peter 3:15 - And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul (BELOVED BROTHER PAUL) also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

    2 Peter 3:16 - As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things;
    in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest,
    as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

    Verse 8 God has never lied in order for good to come. Nobody sent him to the gentile. He went on his own. Like i said he disobeyed
  • Adam - In Reply on Romans 3 - 4 years ago
    Have you ever sinned and/or lied? No one is perfect except Jesus. Of course Paul sinned like everyone else, but he turned from it to follow Jesus. To me it seems presumptious to claim that Paul lied so his books can't be trusted though. Notice it's worded 'If...' which may be a hypothetical and he might mean our lives in general are as a lie since none of us can accurately communicate or portray the Glory of God. These writings are inspired by God and true. Here's a commentary on that verse:rnrnIf our lie, our false life, has thus shown forth his glory, why should we be individually condemned"?
  • Victor on Romans 3 - 4 years ago
    Verse 7 Paul admits he's lying. Why should anyone believe him. You are a sinner because of your lies. Matter of fact he disobeyed?

    Leviticus 20:13 speaks on this. Paul talks about it Romans. But most importantly, Since these sins are part of the old testament,they are part of the law. "By the law no flesh shall be justified. By grace are we saved without the deeds of the law". Today In these times, the church should be the watchman, and declaring these things, in the face of a sinful and unrepentant world.The law and the gospel. Romans 3:20, KJV: "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin."Roman 5;1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:Those who live under the law,will be judged by the law.

    Do you believe that as a Christian you are incapable of sin or that God continually cleanses you from sin? Those are 2 different claims. If the first, I would ask are you really perfect and haven't made any mistakes in your life on Earth like Jesus? Romans 3:10. If the second, then have you read the rest of 1 John 3 because it clearly says Christians can sin in verses 4, 8, and 24 obeying is key.

    1 John 3:4 Sin is the transgression of the law, Romans 3:20 for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:31 Do we make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea we establish the law. Romans 7:12 The law is holy, and the commandment is holy. Acts 17:30 In times of ignorance,God winks at,but now commands every man to repent. James 2:17 Faith without works is dead.Our part"works"is being obedient

    It's not what we think, just how many times does God have to point that out:.. "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil Prov.3:5-7 ." Then Paul quotes God to say: Phil.1:27-29. And Ps.51:5.

    This particular verse is just one of the many quoted but misunderstood verses that's often used to justify misdeeds. Throughout the bible's pages, many men were deemed righteous such as Job 1:6. In the New Testament we have in the book of Luke 1:5-6 Zachariah and Elizabeth were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

    Adoniyah: Luke 1:5-6 is Telling Us How The Parents of John Done All Things Blameless in The Old Testament. Same with Job. We are Now Living in The New Testament. We are Free From Most Things in The Old Testament. Christ is Our One Blood Sacrifice for All Who Come to Him. Forever /If You, Me or Anyone Tries to Live Like They Did---- Lake of Fire / We Can Go to The Throne Room Boldly( Hebrews 4:16

    You say that no one can live without (willfull) sinning?
    Leviticus 11:45, Leviticus 20:7, 1st Peter 1:16 all command you to be Holy.
    Romans 3:23 says "All have sinned (past tense) and come short of the Glory of God".
    In John 5:14, Jesus tells the man that was healed from 38 years of infirmity to "sin no more" ALSO John 8:11 to the woman saved from the stoning.
    Jesus wouldn't ask the impossible!
  • Howard on Romans 3 - 6 years ago
    God has put away our sin! He judged Jesus in our place! His wrath has been satisfied and judgement has rendered! All those that believe on His name will be saved! Salvation is a finished work! When Christ sat down at God's right hand we sat down with Him! Our position in Christ is one of rest! Our salvation isn't performance based but rest in His performance!

    For the believer, circumcision or the lack of it was a matter of total indifference. What really counted was the faith and obedience that have always characterized covenants between God and humankind.
