The scripture says that we are delivered from the power of darkness, not darkness itself. As one is able to overcome the power of gravity, yet are we not free from gravity itself. I believe this verse refers to the reign of sin and death ( romans 5:21) and the release from the power of sin ( romans 6:14).

We were born into Babylon -naked, screaming, knowing nothing and babbling- and this is our classroom. We're here to learn those things that are referred to as Divine Law. It's not a law book of iudgments and punishments, which is the kind of Babel that is usually sold by any number of man's religions, but rather offers something quite the opposite. It is Whole, Complete and Good. Patience over frustration. Your choice. Gratefulness over regrets and loss. Your choice. Compassion over aggression. Your choice. Admiration over jealousy and envy. Your choice. Forgiveness that leads to Grace over grudges and revenge. Your choice. Eternal life over neverending death. Your choice. AHHH. There it is. Who offers that iudgment, diuision, and punishment? You. Nobody else. "Only God can judge me" is a popular refrain heard in Babylon. But it's not exactly true. You get Eternal Life. You WILL have it. Right now, we're living in neverending death. Choice.

You will be Ssaved, whether you like it or not.

Fill up with "Sin" - hatreds, regrets, sorrows, shame, fears - and a Baptism by Fire will come. It's not for punishment or "paying dues". That's man's silly iudgmental view. It's purification for Eternity. While it Is True that God Is Love, Grace and Mercy, Eternity brokers no such forgiveness. It's not about "fair", but rather an immutable (unchangeable) law of Reality. It's like gravity. If you jump out of an airplane without a parachute and smack into the ground, you can talk about how it isn't fair all you want, but in the end it's just a losing and ridiculous complaint. That's what "Hell" is about. It's an Energy.

What comes out - our Eternal Spirits that have all of the Tools of Eternal Creation.

The language of Prophesie is ONLY UNDERSTOOD upon Receiving the Divine Light of Grace (aka holy Ghost). Don't See it yet? Then put the Book down and work on these: building Love, offering others Patient Guidance & Kind Influence, forgiving others which paves the way to Grace, recalling & giving Thanks for Blessings which paves the way to a Loving Admiration of Life in Joyful Gratefulness which in turn births Hope. BE COMPASSIONATE. Do these things and when you're ready, Receive the Light of Divine Grace. THESE THINGS ARE OF THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST.

"My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" ( Mark 15:34) The other morning, I was half waking up and I heard a chirping sound. Half drowsy, I just knew something sounded odd, but I couldn't figure out what it was. I kept hearing the chirping. I tried to think what it could be. I thought maybe it was the computer, or maybe the cell phone. Yet, as I listened I knew the sound was not coming from any of these things. I got up, and still coming out of a sleep, I tried to figure out what I was hearing. It sounded like it was near the window, so I opened the blind and looked down. When I looked down, I saw a big, black cat. It had something gray in its mouth. I thought it was a mouse, and I did not think to much of it. Then, I realized it was a squirrel. I know its the way it is, that animals prey on each other; but, I did not want to see the squirrel die. I ran outside, and the big cat dropped the squirrel and ran off. The squirrel ran also; but, the squirrel could not run right. He looked like he was trying with all he could, but, everything was not working right. I feared for him. He tried to climb a tree, but he only got a little ways up and he fell back to the ground. It was an intense moment. The squirrel could not get up a tree; I thought maybe I could get some gloves on and do something. I thought, he's been saved out of the cat's mouth, and now he's trying to get to safety, and he cannot. As he was trying to get himself "together," another cat was coming from another direction. It just seemed the situations were all against the squirrel. I shooed the cat away. The squirrel managed to climb into a small cedar tree. The lower branches had been cut off, and he made his way up into the green branches. I was relieved for the squirrel, but I knew a cat could easily get him in that tree. I went back inside and watched from the window. This was so intense. I just kept praying, "O LORD, please don't let him die. Please restore him. I know its your will for animals... but, I don't want to see him die; please help him, restore his life, restore him." I didn't want to see him die. I watched. I was afraid to watch. He came down out of the cedar tree and ran up a locust tree. He made it about half way up or more. He went to a branch and lay down. I was so glad he made it up into the tree; now I was afraid he would fall out of the tree. To have seen him struggling as he did, trying to run, trying to climb, and everything not working right; I was concerned he might fall out of the tree. I thanked the LORD for getting him into the tree. I watched him. He lay for quite awhile. He began to move some; I was so afraid he was going to fall out of the tree. I thought, maybe this is where I should stop watching; he is out of immediate danger of the cats, he seems to be stabilizing, maybe now is a good time for me to stop watching; but, I did keep watching. A neighbor came riding near-by on his riding mower, the squirrel climbed way up into the tree and I could not see him any more. Later, near evening, I saw a squirrel climb down out of the tree. I saw him climb down to about a foot above ground. He looked like he had everything "together." He went on the other side of the tree and I didn't see him any more. I thought, well, he escaped that death. I recently saw a movie where a mob man "introduced," took a man "on the inside." Later, it was found out the one he "introduced" was an informant. The man who "introduced" the informant to the mob, got a phone call; he was called to come to his death. He kissed his wife and told her how pretty she was, he told her if the one he "introduced" called, to tell him "if it had to be anyone, I'm glad it was you." He took off his jewelry, he left his money, and personals in a box he left open. He walked out the door. The movie ended shortly later. It did not show him being killed. I felt like the movie left me hanging; not that I wanted to see his death; but, I guess there's that wanting a good outcome; maybe the informant somehow saved his life. (the informant was crossing the line in his bond between being the informant and being one of them). I would suppose most people would want to intervene if they could stop death. Some may ask, " why doesn't God intervene and stop death?" I know there are times He does; but, many times death prevails. Some during the Holocaust may have asked "where is God?" There were those that sought to save those being killed by the Nazi's. Some countries would not hand over the Jews (and others)that were in their countries when Germany asked for them. Some people hid the Jews, at the risk of being killed themselves. Some businessmen did what they could to save people from death. Some people sought to flee death and hide in the woods. Still some may ask "Why, God?" When God created man and put him in the garden of Eden, he gave him a commandment, "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." ( Genesis 2:16-17) Death entered the world through man's disobedience. ( Romans 5:12-21) The result of sin is death. The penalty of sin is death. I know sometimes God chooses to deliver us from death (Daniel in the den of lions, etc.) but, man still has to die. Jesus came and took our death upon Himself. He never sinned, yet, our sins were upon Him. Why did God forsake Him? because "He being found in the fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." ( Philippians 2:8) He, just as man was tempted, was tempted; yet, He sinned not. He overcame sin, death, and the grave. Just as one sinned, and we all became sinners; one was obedient, and we all can be made righteous. ( Romans 12-21) In Christ, we never die; though now we still see the effects of the penalty for sin; our outer man dies: but, the new man in Christ shall never die. How many times a day, God must watch death. I know God does not take pleasure in the death of any of His creation. Death entered the world through man's disobedience; but, because of God's love we do not have to fear death, we overcome death by our faith in Jesus Christ.

Not my verses, God's Word. It does not matter what I think. It matters what He says. Romans 5:8, Eph. 2:8-9, Romans 5:1. Someone may say "then just accept Christ and do whatever you want. God cannot be decieved. He sees our hearts and our motives. Romans 6:1. Works are what we do for Him because we love him. His baseline expection for me: Rom 12:1-2 Of course it is more complex than that... But for salvation we need to come simply, as a child... with childlike faith.

This question of sin and forgiveness, wow. Paul takes it on starting with Adam, the first transgressor. Not Eve, because she was seduced by the Devil and by the Devil gave birth to that first murderer, Cain. Both suffered the consequences being cast out of the garden, and procreating an evil race from the Devils child, Cain. But the law came by Moses so sin wasn't imputed, but the consequences were. Jesus was appointed to attone for the original sin because he came to destroy the works of the devil. But as in Adams day, all must face the consequences of their sin in this world. All must stand in judgement before God for their actions and suffer the conequences be it torment for evil doers or glory for the believers.
  • KP on Romans 5 - 13 years ago
Sin is dead to the extent of penalty, spiritual death, for both the believer and the unbeliever. Through his death, Jesus Christ atoned for all sin. So, the issue for the unbeliever is to receive a pardon. To "receive the atonment". To be condemned no more.

All of us were born condemned. Even before we committed our first sin. The entire human race was condemned when Adam sinned.

The good news is that God the Father chose to impute the penalty of sin, spiritual death, to his son, Jesus Christ. Before the cross, by promise, man looked forward to the coming of the second person of the Trinity, Jesus Christ, to die on our behalf to atone for sins. The promise.

Today, we look back in time, by faith, to the cross. The finished work of Jesus Christ.

The good news is, that once we believe, we can never lose our status as "sons". Even when we sin. Why? Because God could not condemn us even if he wanted. There is no penalty. A type of "double jeopardy". So, God could never impute the penalty of sin to anyone. Sin still carries with it the weight of trouble. But, it does not carry the weight of spiritual death, thanks to Jesus Christ.
  • Bill Barr on Hebrews 10 - 13 years ago
Verse 26-29 Is talking about the person who rejects the finished work of Christ and tries to establish their own righteous through the law of Moses. Even though the law is holy righteous and true it can not make you holy righteous and true.
Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Grace does not justify us to sin. When you put faith- only in the finished work of Christ, you are justified in the sight of God from all sin. Not by what you did; but rather, by what Christ did for you.
Exodus 12:13 and the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye [are]: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy [you], when I smite the land of Egypt.
The scripture says when I see the blood – not when I see your good works.
Titus 3: 8 [This is] a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
Good Works will not save you –Only the blood of Jesus. The scripture teaches good works are important –but not for salvation. If you love God you will maintain good works for his glory and for the sake of the lost man. To love your neighbor as your self is to live your life for the sake of the lost man.
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Always the issue comes down to grace vs works
Any one who teaches faith + works = salvation is teaching a false gospel. It is a lie and can not save you.
Just remember Faith alone = Salvation
What about James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
James is speaking to believers about Service unto the lord –Verse 1 “My brethren”
Read James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one [point], he is guilty of all.
If you are going to maintain your righteousness through the law then you will have to be absolutely perfect in maintaining the whole law order to enter heaven.
There is only one man who fulfilled the whole law- Jesus Christ.
Any one who teaches grace gives you the freedom to sin does not truly understand grace.

Prior to this i would like to share something about our topic, ( Romans 5:12)for by one man sin entered the world and death by sin so death passed upon all men for in that all have sinned.....We know that the bible clearly state that both of them disobeyed God's command, as stated in this verse FOR BY ONE MAN SIN ENTERED THE WORLD,One man means not particular to one man only but two person,( Genesis 2:24)meaning they shall be in one flesh. In ( Genesis 2:16-17) Thou shalt not eat of it, for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. When Eve begin to have fellowship with the devil, She begin to have a desire about the fruit in the midst of the garden, the devil expalin to her that you will not die if you eat the fruit but rather will be like God, Adam saw Eve that when She ate the fruit she did not die, but God said you will die, so when Eve gave him the fruit after he ate this, their eyes where opened and saw that they were both naked and covered with them leafs, and so the bible said In the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die, they died on that day because for the Lord one thousand day for the Lord is only ONE DAY that is why they died on that day, but because of God's love to them before sending out from the garden God clothed them with skin of animals (Lamb)for the remission of their sin because God commanded them only ONE COMMAND! ( Hebrews 9:22) without shedding of Blood there is no remission of sin. because there was a sacrifice blood for them a blemish, without spot of a lamb. ( John 1:29) Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world.

This is very important matter to all of us,the sin which committed by Adam & Eve was forgiven but there was something happend there was a consequence a far reaching consequence of their sin, we inherit the original sin which is death from hell, the only way to escape this is to have reconcilliation with Christ thru baptism in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins, this is the only key for us to enter God's Kingdom without repentance and without baptism we will all likewise perish. ( John 3:3-7)
Without being born again of water and of spirit we cannot enter into the Kingdom of God, for there is two salvation God wants to happen to all, being baptized of water & spirit and after this process we must continue to be with Lord in his second coming ( Titus 2:13) This the TRUTH the truth that will save us from damnation, because Jesus said I am the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE no man cometh unt the Father except thru me.

    Godbless you heart...

Verse 21 says "And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." It doesn't say whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord, and be baptized, and attend an Apostolic Pentecostal Church. If you read the entire New Testament it doesn't even say you HAVE to be baptized to go to heaven. There are verses that speak of baptism as being an important step of faith, but not a requirement for heaven. The man on the cross with Jesus was told by Jesus himself that he would be with him in Heaven, and he was never baptized or attended an Apostolic Pentecostal Church. While baptism is important to the Christian life, and attending a correct bible preaching church is what God wants for our life (not a denomination preference, but a right church) the ONLY key to salvation and heaven is accepting Jesus' payment for our sins. Read John 3:16, Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9-10 and Romans 13, and none specify anything other than belief in Jesus as our savior. Baptism, church membership and daily bible reading and prayer are vitally important parts of Christian life, but the only key to heaven is Jesus himself.

Dear Dan, The ones that Christ referred to pertaining to the dead 'HEARING' His voice, were those that had died IN FAITH in God's Word, thus promises, pertaining to that which was to come, prior to Christ coming into the world in the form of a man; in the likeness of sinful flesh, to die for the sins of mankind. All those that had died prior to His coming, who HEARD God's Word; words, in the way that means to BELIEVE God's Word; to thus have faith in God's Word, are all those who's souls went down into the midst of the earth, not into Hell, but nevertheless in a particular grave site, where death held them hostage, as they waited for the prophesied; foretold, coming Messiah; Saviour. As, the Lord had promised them, saying:

Isaiah 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with MY DEAD BODY shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

1 Corinthians 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste DEATH FOR EVERY MAN.

Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

2 Corinthians 1:9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

Acs 2:24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

Romans 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

After Christ came OUT of that fleshly body; the form of a man; the likeness of sinful flesh, He THEN went to the part of the midst of the earth that is Hell, and TOOK AWAY from Satan the KEYS of Hell and Death!

Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

THEN He want to another part of the midst of the earth where all those souls that had BELIEVED God; believed the Word of God preached to them, and had thus died in faith, looking forward to the coming Saviour; Redeemer; Messiah, slept; rested, waiting for Him to come. And He took them, who were all held CAPTIVE by death, in the grave, all CAPTIVE UNTO HIMSELF, and AROSE, with them, they with HIM, from the dead:

As prophesied in the Old Testament:

Ezekiel 37:13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

He FULFILLED that prophesy in the New Testament, upon rising from the dead:

Matthew 27:50 Jesus when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

    51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

52 And THE GRAVES WERE OPENED; and many bodies of the saints which slept AROSE,

53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

Ephesians 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led CAPTIVITY captive, and gave gifts unto men.

Since our Saviour; Redeemer; Messiah, is come in the flesh:

John 1: 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath EVERLASTING LIFE, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

V.6-reply to Jeff. Thanks for asking, and my apology for being so brief. Maybe, "disassociated" was not the best word. Romans 5:12-19 explains it well with "sin", "death", and "condemnation" which passed from Adam to all mankind. About our bodies being the temple of the Holy Spirit; I think refers to only people who have Jesus, since 1 Corinthians is written to such (please see Chapter 1:2). Why! descending through the father and not the mother? I don't know, but the Bible uses men's names in geneologies and even today, most people inherit the father's last name. Could it be that the egg has no life till it is fertilized by a male? The Bible says Eve is the mother of all living and she disobeyed God first, but Adam is blamed for passing the sin curse on to all men. And Yes! this new life in Jesus is for whoever believes in Him ( Jn. 3:16) regardless of background heritage. There are many reasons why a believer should go public. It honors Jesus, it releases God to work in our lives, and opens the door for others to receive that new life too.

This is where God commanded Adam And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Before I begin let me say that God hath made 7 dispensation meaning God made different time of salvation and for every time, there was salavtion as I explain thru the knowledge of God wherein God commanded Adam to freely eat all the fruits in the garden, but the tree of knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it, for in the day you eat of it, you will surely die.

So man disobeyed God when they eat the fruit of good and evil they died on that day because 1,000 years is ONE DAY FOR THE LORD. But before God remove them from the garden, He didn't let them go out without changing their dress, God put them with a SKIN OF ANIMALS which is the SKIN of the LAMB, THE TYPE AND SHADOWS TO COME, meaning this is where God will take place his salvation to mankind. The SKIN OF THE LAMB represent the BLOOD OF CHRIST to be SHED UPON (Heb.9:22) Without shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.

The Skin covering of Adam & Eve representing what God will do to remove the CURSE (DEATH) which came into the world by ONE MAN, and so SIN entered the world, and DEATH passeth to ALL MEN, for ALL HAVE SIN. ( Romans 5:12) We are all BORN SINNERS IN THE SIGHT OF GOD ( Psalms 51:5) There is none righteous, no not anyone in the sight of God. ( Romans 3:10)

The only solution for this CURSE that we INHERITED IS THRU RECONCILIATION BY OBEDIENCE THRU GOD'S WORD, THRU IMMERSION BY BAPTISM IN WATER IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF OUR SINS, AND YOU SHALL RECEIEVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. ( Acts 2:38-39), wherein you will clothed with Christ, and we will be buried thru his death thru baptism, that is why Galacians 3:27= All have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Because there is only ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, and ONE BAPTISM (Ephessians 4:5) There is only ONE GOD and he is the ALPHA, the OMEGA the BEGINNING and END ( Revelation 1:8)
He is the IMAGE OF THE INVICIBLE GOD ( Colossians 1:15) He is the ONE True GOD that was manifest in the FLESH ( 1 Timothy 3;16) He is the True God and eternal LIFE ( 1 John 5:20) And He will be SOON COMING IN THE CLOUDS FOR HIS BRIDE (The Church) Titus 2:13) ( Matthew 16:18-19) For there is no other name in heaven whereby we must be saved ( Acts 4:12) He is the messiah that the Israelites until now still waiting for Him to come, but doesnt understand this Messiah is already came back to heaven in His throne as God Spirit ( John 4:24) To God be the glory in Jesus Christ name, amen.

    Godbless you all

In the book of Genesis wherein God from the beginning created the heaven & the earth, and He even created every thing, God created the fowls of the earth according to its kind, God created the birds according to its kind, God created the trees according to its kind, God created the fish according to its kind and the last God created man according to His image.

This are part of God's creation and He even planned of salvation before the creation begun ( 1 Peter 1:19-20) who verily foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times. Because God knows that the man that He created will be disobedient to Him that is why Before creating them, it was already there before foundation of the world, Salvation is already there for the future. Because when Adam & Eve disobeyed the command of God that if you ate the fruit specifically God mentioned that you will surely die! And this is the CURSE the curse of DEATH, A FAR REACHING CONSEQUENCE THAT CAME TO US because of their disobedience to God. ( Romans 5:12) says because of ONE MAN sin enetered into the world, and by SIN, DEATH passeth to ALL, for ALL HAVE SINNED. And God shows us how he's gonna save mankind thru CLOTHING OF SKIN OF ANIMALS TO ADAM & EVE representing forgiveness of their SIN, This SKIN of the LAMB supposed to be key for their forgiveness for disobedience, this are the type & shadow of what GOD WILL DO TO SAVE MANKIND FROM THEIR SINS, BY OFFERING HIS HUMAN BODY IN THE PERSON OF CHRIST, ( 1 Timothy 3:16) God was manifest in the FLESH,( John 1:1-14) In the beginning was a WORD and the WORD was with GOD and the WORD was GOD and in V-14 and the WORD became FLESH. And it was prophesied by God himself ( Isaiah 7:14) A virgin shall conceived and bear a Son and His name shall be called Emannuelle which means God with us. So if there is a prophecy there must be a fulfillment and in ( Matthew 1:21-23)And she (MARY) shall bring forth a SON named Jesus for he shall save his people from their sins, because we are all BORN SINNERS ( Psalms 51:5) That is why God make a way to REACH US, TO SAVE US FROM OUR SINS, because if the plan of salvation does not HAPPENED TO US, does not apply to us we will be perished to eternal damnation from HELL, the CURSE which Adam & Eve we INHERIT IT! So the KEYS for this is to OBEY GOD'S WORD thru the BIBLE, because the Bible is our guide, our salvation because it is the Word of God (2 Timonthy 3:16) That is why if we donot believe in the Bible theres nothing to explain and our sharing will be useless. Its not the version of the Bible but whatever VERSION IT IS, the PLAN OF SALVATION IS STILL THERE, AND WE CANNOT IGNORE THIS...WE CANNOT USE OUR INTELLECTS, WE MUST DEFEND OF GOD AND TO HIS WORD...Godbless your heart If you understand what I am sharing off.

REGARDING VERSES 8-10: The difference between those of mankind that are born of God, and those that are not, is that those that are not have not received Christ. Until they do, they CANNOT repent in the way of true repentance. This is why no one need repent IN ORDER to receive Christ, since one CANNOT until and unless one does, and this is why the gifts and the calling are WITHOUT repentance.

Romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

As, it is the love and GOODNESS OF GOD in Christ that LEADS a man unto repentance.

Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the GOODNESS OF GOD leadeth thee to repentance?
Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the LOVE OF GOD, which is IN Christ Jesus our Lord.

Yet, we are still all brothers in Christ, regardless of those that have not received Him from and with their hearts so that He may be IN them. As, He died for ALL, even for those who are considered to be SINNERS as we were before we recieved Him.
ROMANS 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:15 And that he DIED FOR ALL, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Also, while we that are born of God cannot commit sin, as far as WITH the 'mind of Christ,' which is God, and which we have, we CAN sin WITH THE FLESH, by yielding to sin, and thereby serving sin.
ROMANS 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then WITH the MIND I myself serve the law of God; but WITH the FLESH the law of sin.

The MIND refered to is NOT the CARNAL mind, whch is FLESH:

Romans 8:7 Because the CARNAL MIND is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

But the MIND of Christ, which is SPIRIT:

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the MIND OF CHRIST.

Although we CAN sin, that NEW CREATURE we each are in Christ CANNOT. If we serve sin with our flesh, thereby LETTING sin have it's way, we are allowing our OWN WILL, instead of God's to take control. However, having the MIND of CHRIST, God HIMSELF gave us HIS WILL to resort to, meaning we can SAY NO to our own fleshly; carnal, will, and turn it back to the WILL of God:

Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both TO WILL and to do of his good pleasure.

That 'TO WILL' is one of the gifts of the Spirit of God, PRAISE GOD, He has made it EASY on us:

Romans 6:12 LET NOT sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

We are GODLY because we have RECEIVED, and have continued to LOVE, Christ, DESPITE our inclination to yield to sin, and thus we REMAIN IN Him, having our sins COVERED by His BLOOD, giving us grace, and time, to repent of any sin/s we have not yet repented of, and receive the forgiveness for, the and cleansing away, of our sins the moment we repent.

It is BECAUSE we have received Christ, and ARE thus SPIRIT BEINGS; SPIRIT of God's Spirit; BORN of God, that we, despite our sins, are GODLY, and it is BECAUSE we are GODLY that we CAN, and, by God, we WILL repent of; CONFESS, our sins unto the LORD. Hear this Old Testament prophetic prayer that clarifies that the GODLY are inclined to sin, as far as to yield to it, and to HAVE SIN to admit to, and confess, unto the LORD. And as you read, take note that the GODLY are those that, DESPITE their sins, TRUST IN THE LORD, are BLESSED, RIGHTEOUS, UPRIGHT IN HEART, COMPASSED ABOUT WITH MERCY, AND SONGS OF DELIVERANCE, and HID in Christ, HID from the WRATH of God, as the blood of Christ covers our sins:

PSALMS 32:2 BLESSED is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
5 I ACKNOWLEDGED my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I WILL confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6 For THIS shall EVERY one that is GODLY pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7 Thou art my HIDING place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt COMPASS ME ABOUT with songs of DELIVERANCE. Selah.
8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, MERCY shall COMPASS HIM ABOUT.
11 Be glad IN the LORD, and rejoice, ye RIGHTEOUS: and shout for joy, all ye that are UPRIGHT IN HEART.

NONE of this means that a born again child of God can serve sin, and refuse to repent, and still be saved in the end. God's Word warns us. God is a just God, warning the righteous to NOT forsake Him, and warning the unrighteous to turn unto Him.

In the meanwhile, prior to physically dying, which if one that received Christ dies with any sins being unrepented of, then that person had to have ceased to LOVE the righteousness of God, which is Christ Jesus. And that soul will be cut off from Him:

    Colossians 1:23 If ye CONTINUE IN the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; CONTINUE IN them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

ROMANS 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Romans 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou CONTINUE in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Even if we yield to sin, to, at that point NEED to repent, IN ORDER TO continue in the goodness of God, it is God's GOODNESS that, at that point, LEADS us UNTO repentance.

So, what is the problem if we serve sin, if we WILL, however eventually, repent? Well, in the meanwhile we get bombarded with lies and feelings of DOUBT that we ARE godly, righteous, blessed, etc., and we start THINKING as if we are NOT these things, and our JOY and CONFIDENCE becomes less and less. THAT is how Satan WANTS us to think and feel. But since Christ has died for our sins, Satan can NOT any longer make us his servants, and KEEP us in bondage to sin. It is NO LONGER Satan's grounds; jurisdiction; right. As, NOW, it is only WE, YOU YOUSELF, I MYSELF, that can keep us, you, me, being a servant to, in bondage to, sin, meaning we can STOP IT, REFUSE IT, by turning unto the LORD to repent, and thereby be cleansed and receive the forgiveness of God INSTANTLY, and then PROCEED to CONTINUE in obedience unto the Lord. Any time we yield to sin, the FIRST STEP before we can continue to WALK in the Lord, is down on our knees, heartfully speaking, and repent. Is NOT repenting of our sins INSTILLED in the VERY prayer that Jesus instructs us to pray DAILY?

LUKE 11:3 Give us day by day our DAILY bread.
4 And FORGIVE US OUR SINS; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

When we hate sin, and are quick to repent of it, AND read; eat and drink, the Word; WORDS, of God, the less and less we are inclined to sin, as the LOVE OF GOD perfects us more and more each day.

But, due to the danger of our continuing in sin; putting of repentance, God loves us TOO much to not deal with us here and now for our own good, not according to our sins, which the wages of is death, but in order to correct us, and keep us from the dangers of being in sin:

1 Corinthians 11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and CHASTEN: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without CHASTISEMENT, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

ROMANS 12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

    12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed
    ________________________________________________
I will end with saying this unto all those that have received Christ; God's Word; God's RIGHTEOUSNESS, and who are therefore GODLY, RIGHTEOUS, who's righteousness is of the LORD, that, if you have sin, to date, that you have not repented of; have not acknowledged; admitted, and confessed, unto the LORD, here's the thing: You WILL. It's far better for you to not force your heavenly Father to HAVE to sorely chastise you, because He WILL if need be. And you know full well in your heart that, when it comes to where the rubber meets the road, should you be chastised of Him, you will NOT blaspheme Him as if He is unjust, or as if He does not love you (there IS no if,) but you will stand corrected, and repent of your sins before Him. So, knowing you WILL, why wait? There is no good reason to wait, and nothing but MANY good reasons to come clean NOW. Until you do, you, as far as the NEW CREATURE you are in Christ in your Innerman, has fallen asleep at the wheel so to speak, and is either in a spiritual coma, or is getting that way, and the LORD is calling you to WAKE UP! Don't you worry, if He has to SHAKE you, He will, since the longer you ignore Him, the more deaf your spiritual ears get.

And don't believe the lies of the devil telling you 'But you messed up AGAIN, and have repeately, and God's tired of hearing you repent,...'

As, first of all, if you are a MESS, you are your heavenly FATHER'S mess, and NONE of Satan's business whatsoever. You ARE upright, but it is Christ that is bearing you up. The moment you repent, it is embracing the One that holds you up.

Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: NO good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he DIED FOR ALL, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Romans 5:12 for by one man sin entered the world and death by sin so death passed upon all men for in that all have sinned..... one day I asked God to teach me something I was on an assembly line and wanted to get my mind on something else to help the day go by.so he gave me this verse. I did not think there was anything there for me to know.I already knew about Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit . so i said Lord I already know all about that. And he said to me Eve ate first why did sin and death not enter the world when eve ate.and I said yes lord I never saw that before why did sin not enter the world when eve ate so over time this is what I think I have come to understand in order for Adam to sin he first needed a law 1John 3:4 whosoever commiteth sin transgresseth also the Law for sin is the transgression of the Law. Romans 4:15 for the Law worketh wrath for where no Law is there is no transgression without Law Adam could not become a transgressor Romans 4:16 For until the Law Sin was in the world but Sin is not imputed when there is no Law Gen 2:16 And the Lord God commanded the Man saying of every tree in the garden thou mayest freely eat there of but of the tree of the Knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it for the day there in that thou eatest there of thou shalt surely die ...the commandment was only to Adam you you you... now I do not care what Eve said to the serpent she was not under the law because sin and death did not enter the world when she ate but when Adam ate she died being that she was made from him bone of his bone flesh of his flesh and when they had children they also were the children of Adam bone of his bone flesh of his flesh born dead what Adam lost when he ate was eternal life.there was no death in the world . anyway if God gave Eve the Law then sin and death would have come into the world by the woman and Jesus would have been born with sin through his mother no salvation

This is for Nabeel. If you study it out you'd find that Jesus spent 3 days and 3 nights amongst man.The clutches of the world before he started suffering for our sins. As far as your comment in Ezekiel, you forgot to keep it in context. when you read on you'll find "But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die." Ezekiel 18:21
    Also for you Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST DIED for us.
    God Bless

We all have access to God because of the death of Christ.when Adam sinned,it seperated us from God but not from his love.We should have no shame because the love of God is in our hearts and it takes it away.Thank you Jesus for your love

lol this bible clearly shows that we are all with sin from the time we are born because of what Adam had done. Original sin people believe and this is even the king James version so all those non denominationals can't say anything.

Hunh........... I guess Eph 2:8-9 must have been a type O then.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:

9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ones works are insufficient: Isaiah 64:6
But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as FILTHY RAGS; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

    Romans 3:10
As it is written, THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, no, not one:

Good works are a manifestation of a born again spirit to be sure. But they did not save anyone. That would mean that Christ's death alone on the cross was not sufficient.

    2 Corinthians 3:5
    Not that we are SUFFICIENT of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] of God;

    2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is SUFFICIENT for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

One cannot earn God's favor (Grace) it is freely given. We only need to believe.

    Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be JUSTIFIED in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin.

    Romans 3:24
Being JUSTIFIED freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

    Romans 3:28
Therefore we conclude that a man is JUSTIFIED by faith without the deeds of the law.

    Romans 4:2
For if Abraham were JUSTIFIED by works, he hath [whereof] to glory; but not before God.

    Romans 5:1
Therefore being JUSTIFIED by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

    Romans 5:9
Much more then, being now JUSTIFIED by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

    Romans 8:30
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also JUSTIFIED: and whom he JUSTIFIED, them he also glorified.

    1 Corinthians 4:4
For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby JUSTIFIED: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

    1 Corinthians 6:11
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are JUSTIFIED in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

    Galatians 2:16
Knowing that a man is not JUSTIFIED by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be JUSTIFIED by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be JUSTIFIED.

    Galatians 2:17
But if, while we seek to be JUSTIFIED by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, [is] therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

    Galatians 3:11
But that no man is JUSTIFIED by the law in the sight of God, [it is] evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

    Galatians 3:24
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster [to bring us] unto Christ, that we might be JUSTIFIED by faith.

    Galatians 5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are JUSTIFIED by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

    1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, JUSTIFIED in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

    Titus 3:7
That being JUSTIFIED by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

When verses in scripture seem to contradict each other you must do three things.

    1. Find out what the rest of scripture tell us about the subject. *scripture interprets scripture*

    2. Know the meaning in the original language as some does not translate well from its original. ( 1 John 3:6 and 3:9 are perfect examples) its says one born again is sinless; we know that not to be true it is impossible. A better translation would be to say; anyone born again will not continue in their sinful life style.)

    3. Look at the historical context in which the subject was being written about.

Conclusion: Man has no part in his salvation, it is truly a gift to them that believe.

I wish to comment on verse 2 of this chapter. "Behold God is my salvation" He removes deprivation, depravity, and He delivers. God outlined a plan for man to be reconciled to himself by manifesting himself in the flesh. John 1:1,14 Before this virgin birth of Christ, we were without any means of reaching God or being reconciled. We were destitute on a spiritual island called self. He saw our condition and reached for us. Romans5:6-8 Sin had deprived us of any contact or fellowship with God. He removed the deprivation and replaced it with an invitation. John 3:16; Romans 5:1; Romans 10:13
Having our deprivation removed, the writer goes to the next step in the life of the believer. "I will trust and not be afraid:"For the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song;" Depravity must be delt with on a daily basis until it fades to nothing. When we are saved, we are no longer deprived, but we need to get rid of anything that does not reflect Christ in our lives.Depraity must decrease and Christ must increase to the point that we are governed by the spirit and not by the flesh. There are trials that will come to beset us,but we can get through them and glorify God. I Corinthians 10:13 Hebrews 12:1, IJohn5:5 We know that we can relax and trust in the God of our salvation because it is His strength that saves us and sanctifies us. We are more than conquerors thru Him . IJohn 5:4 Having strength supplied by the Lord Jehovah Himself in the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, we have reason to sing praises to Him. David said, His praise shall continually be on my lips. Victory is a great reason for singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Ephesians 5:19,20 Lastly we have His deliverance."He also is become my salvation" At the end of this life there is a surety for us, that God will guide us home. Psalm 48:14 He does not abandon us when we die He stays with us all the way home. It is comforting to know that we are cared for from birth to death and beyond in the family of God. When we complete our earthly walk, we begin our heavenly walk. The writer lets us know that God removes deprivation and saves for whosoever will come to Him. He empowers us with the Holy Spirit to guide us thru this life, and He guides us in death. Removal of deprivation, rids us of depravity, shrouds us with deliverance. What great reasons to sing praise to the God of our salvation. Psalm 50:23
