No study to see thyself approved pleased we don't study no more. I'm a saved sinner so are you saying your aimlessly perfect? Paul said he is the chief of sinners. Evil is still present with me sin still dwelleth with me. THIS IS A SAVED MAN SPEAKING. ROMANS"A wretched man that I am "! Your flesh is still sinful THE DIFFERENCE IS HEARTFELT CONVICTION OF SIN. The pleasure of sin decreases

Emanuel:The law of the spirit of life and truth has made us free from the law of sin and death. By the law we are made free from the law. Dead to sin...free to marry another...His righteousness! The flesh profits nothing because Jesus condemned sin in the flesh for us. Took it out of the way, as far as the east is from the west. Now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus! LORD BLESS YOU

Emanuel: So you are saying that we are "godly" sinners? That we are "sinful" saints? Sure seems to me that if we are still yet sinners, SIN STILL HAS DOMINANCE! The Scripture says "while we WERE YET SINNERS, Christ died for us!" The Bible says "whosoever is born of God cannot sin"!!! Make no provision for the flesh. The flesh profiteth nothing! FREE FROM SIN! Look FOR it, not AGINST it. Lord Bless

a saved person can sin but what most people are confused on is that its THE FLESH that sins not the soul. You have been uncircumcised your flesh is no longer grafted in with your soul.WHICH IS WHY SIN NO LONGER HAS DOMINION OVER YOU. This doesnt give you a excuse to sin which most do. See your soul has been redeemed but NOT YOUR BODY ONLY THEN ARE WE TRULY SIN FREE AT THE BLESSED HOPE

Anthony: The Bible says all HAVE sinned(past tense) and fallen from the Glory of God's Grace. So one cannot say they 'have no sin' without deceiving themselves. The Bible also says that we are to put to death the sin full nature by believing the TRUTH and studying the Scriptures diligently. Did not Jesus say He took away our sin? Isn't that the TRUTH? Repent means a reversal of opinion. Lord Bless

It is such a wonderful experience to be Crucified with Christ. In 2004 on the day Pentecost was celebrated I was rebaptized in the name of Jesus ( Romans 6:3-8; Acts 2:38).This was the result of revelation.Sadly many are only baptised in Jesus' titles( Matt 28:19)and not his Name. The Lord Jesus is the head of the church why is his name not used in Baptism?

Anthony; who told you that you sin every day? Are you really still sinning? Didn't you repent? Aren't you a thoroughly converted Born From Above New Creature in Christ? The blood of Jesus was shed for us to be completely set free from the power of sin over us, as well as our reconciliation and forgiveness. There are reasons for repeatedly falling into sin. It is an unclean spirit and disobedience.

He who is of born of God does not sin." - This is true you need to understand FULLY WHAT IS MEANT BY THIS. The holy spirit in you will open your understanding. Your flesh is no longer attached to your soul. Your uncircumcised now which means the holy ghost HAS sealed you off from your flesh. You'r the soul t doesn' sin ONLY your flesh only difference your grieved by sin and you have CONVICTION!

I just read the social media comments for Roman 6:14, and one sentence stated that, "He who is of born of God does not sin." But in 1John 1:8, if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. Can you explain this to me? Because, I am a confirmed believer. And, I sin everyday. Mindful and unmindful.

What love Jesus had for all mankind...you and me, our neighbors, friends, and family.....to go to the cross knowing what he would have to endure. No wonder he sweat blood in the garden! Thanks to his mercy and grace, as a repentant sinner, I am not condemned and am NO LONGER ruled by sin. What Grace....Amazing Grace!

Psalms 26:7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. Revelation 7:12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

For Sin shall not have dominion over you for ye are not under the law but under by grace.
Jesus paid the price for us on the cross by his blood shed for us it is already finish we are saved by his grace. Our job now is to live and follow like Jesus praising him for everything he have done into our lives. He is the only gateway to heaven only believe that Jesus is the Son of the living God amen

The gift of God Does not come easy .It's "Doing his Word" rather than hoping to be saved. When I call someone "You Fool" in Anger,I am in danger of hell. How many time we "Think of" some one as You Fool?. How can one "Keep to the word of Christ".Than praising we need "training". Like Christ did, there is a training in solitude we can develop.

We should always remember that the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  • A disciple on Romans 6 - 7 years ago
"Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?" Why did we turn to Jesus for mercy and forgiveness and a chance at a new life starting over with Him? Because we were lost and guilty in sins and uncleanness; and He died on the cross for our sins; and if we didn't repent and really amend our ways; we would surely die unfit for the presence of God!

Hi Wayne; Baptism is indeed a sign, as you say; and shows the washing of water by the Word. A person has to repent and confess to God, for the remission of sins, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. "At what instant" that person turns with a true heart unto God for seeking His mercy and forgiveness; at that instant does God also turn to count him clean and at peace and all things a new start.
  • Wayne on Romans 6 - 7 years ago
Baptism is an answer of a good conscience toward God. 1 Peter 3:21. Baptism does not save a person. Baptism is the outward sign that a person is now a child of God and walking with the Lord.

Ray321, All bodies die, both righteous and the ungodly. It's speaking of spiritual death. Commonly understood in the Bible.

    Amen.
  • Peter Spencer on Romans 6 - 7 years ago
Romans 6 Clearly shows how important it is to identify with the Lord Jesus' death, burial and resurrection and be Crucified with him. This can only take place when we are Baptised in his name( Acts 2:38).Sadly many in the church are Baptised in his titles and not in the name which is above all other names. In Paul's day many were Baptised into John, and not in Jesus' name much like today.
  • Ray321 on 1 Corinthians 15 - 7 years ago
1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Because of Adam, we will still sin and die. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. I thank God for the blood of Jesus Christ . Jesus love me so much, how great is that. Thank you Jesus..
  • Ray321 on Romans 6 - 7 years ago
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. We all died for all kinds of reasons, one I know is , for the wages of sin is death. If we were pure Holy, we would never die physical. Saved people's Soul and Spirit never dies. AMEN
  • Evangelist Andrew Kely on Ezekiel 18 - 7 years ago
God and Father of Jesus never changes, Ezekiel 18:4"The soul the sinneth it shall die" Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death," ((hell fire and brimstone)) it pays to serve the devil it pays to sin your wage or payment is called death. All sin is of the devil period 1st John 3:8 no such scripture as "He that commith sin is of God" all sinners will burn Rev 21:8 unless they get righteous.
  • Ray321 on 1 Corinthians 3 - 7 years ago
Romans 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. The flesh is not perfect, but one day we will have a perfect body. Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. That we should not serve sin, that means it's possible to serve sin when saved.
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly on John 3 - 7 years ago
David: if we are all sinners then Jesus is coming back for nobody then. My bible says in 1st John 3:8 "he that commith sin is of the devil.." Jesus told people in John 5:19 "Sin no more." Jesus came and died so we can be free and clear from all sin. I am an ex-sinner saved by grace Romans 6:18. My bible in John 9:31 tells me God don't hear the prayer of sinners. All sinners will burn Rev 21:8.

Verse 19: Holiness is a product of committed righteous life style that mirrors Jesus Christ in you to the world. Righteousness is commitment to saying and doing what is right at all the time in season and out of season as a life style. Conversely, righteousness is commitment to avoiding sin and evil tendencies in season and out of season as a life style. You cant see God without holiness.

In the parable about the lord who forgave his servant, and that same servant went out and took his fellow-servant by the throat, saying, Pay me what you owe! The other servants were grieved when they saw that and told their lord: so he called him and said to him, I forgave you all that debt, because you asked me; shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow-servants, like I had pity on you?
