Thank you so much for your thoughtful and thorough response! I'll make sure she gets your message.
Thanks again,

To her question: I understand that she was referring to Revelation 7:3 ff. There would be several views on this portion of Scripture, but to me, if it seems clear in the Bible, then I accept it as given. We're not told how this Seal of God is applied to the foreheads, whether visible or not: likely visible. And then again, it applies to the 144,000 (12,000 from each of the tribes of Israel). Some see this number as referring to the Church, since the purity, indeed the evidence, of any of the tribes, are virtually non-existent today. But if we say that it's the Church being spoken of, then why mention the tribes, & why such a relatively low number of people who are sealed? Again, I believe that this speaks of Israel, as we (the Church) have already been sealed by the Holy Spirit & as I also believe that we will not go through the Great Tribulation & we will not be here in Revelation chap 7, but with the Lord in Heaven.
So the Revelation Seal is one from God placed upon the 144,000 of Israel, whereas the Mark of the Beast, is that mark or name that is required to be put on all those left on Earth so they can serve the Anti-Christ & be able to live. But for how long? As the Wrath of God will soon be poured out on all living on Earth at that time.
This is Aaron, Edna's great grandson, again.
Is there an email address that she could use to ask questions? I'm trying to figure out how to make using the discussion function as easy as possible for her. She is fairly inexperienced with using the internet, and I have been receiving her replies, just one so far, and sending those to her myself. Is there was an email address that could be used in the same way as posting a comment? If not, that's ok.
Again, I really appreciate you taking time to answer her question. I think she liked that a lot.
Have a blessed day!
Thank you very much for your kind replies brother.
John the baptist elaborates on it as well in the same chapter verses 31-33.
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. Now it's Jesus who speak what he has seen and heard, Those who receive through the power of the Holyspirit testify of this truth. John 16:12-13. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 4:23. Here Jesus is answering the woman of Samaria giving a lesson on its not where you worship its on how to worship, ""Through the power of the holyspirit"" John 16:14-15. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Maybe someone can elaborate on it further.
I very much appreciate that brother Ezekiel. May our Father in Heaven Bless you.
JOHN 3 V 1-11 / 11 in particular says .. Verily, verily, i say unto thee, we speak that we do not know, and testify what we have seen: and receive not our wittness
JOHN 4V 23 says..But the hour cometh, when true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him...
I think she was referring to the seal on the servants of God, mentioned in Revelation 7:3. She was asking what the difference between that seal and the "mark of the beast" was.
Thank you for response! I never expected to get such a thorough response so quickly!
I'll relay your comment to her.
Thanks again!
However, the mark of the Beast, though we can't say for sure how it will be evident, seems to be an identifier on the skin or maybe under it, that reveals a person's decided position to follow & obey the rule of Anti-Christ. And this most will gladly do, so that they can still "buy & sell" & presumably lead somewhat normal lives, without being victimized or suffer hardship or even death.
I have studied KJV for the last 10 years, wrote complete Bible annotations (I don't call them Bible commentary anymore), came up with some new theologies, and ready to preach and start my own ministry--a conservative church, many old hymn singing with piano and/or organ (no drum or guitar), men wearing suits and women skirts, Sunday morning and evening, and midweek service. Sounds familiar? Can't find a church like it these days easily, huh, can we?
Yes it means love, Agape I believe this love for the brothern is assisted by the Holyspirit enabling us to be completely given over to one another, John has a lot to say about this love in his gospel and his letters. 1 John 2:5.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
This verse seems to suggest when this particular love is present in you for the brothern " here by we KNOW we are in him. This is part of the gifts of the spirit and also a fruit of the spirit. And also the love Peter struggled with in the flesh but when the Holyspirit indwelled him he was committed till his death.
1 Corinthians 13:13. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
I very much enjoy looking over the 1611 text, pictures of every page, on this site. As you've stated I've noticed some capital letter differences. With the spelling I myself wouldn't really call them errors. With other things like Jerusalem "Ierufalem", evil "euill", up "vp", ointment "oyntment", have "haue", son "fonne" etc. It seems in the old English they had a different way with some vowels and letters in certain words.
It is enjoyable to look over though. I believe the KJV is the best version of the Holy scripture we have. It is also very interesting to look over the Hebrew and Greek texts and compare with the KJV.
God Bless brother.
No one knows all there is to know of the scripture, we grow as we study his word, and we learn from others, some scripture is clear and should bring us comfort not fear, If your trust in your salvation is " COMPLETELY " in Christ finish work on the cross YOU HAVE NO NEED OF FEAR OF JUDGEMENT he gave us comfort in his word.
Romans 8:1. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Here is one for the sabbath and anything else one would think he or she need to add to Christ finish work on the cross.
Colossians 2:13-15. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Our faith come from hearing INSPIRED scripture! And we can trust in Christ alone, not our experiences. Thank you.
I want to see 1611 large print and hopefully with spelling corrections but it is not available yet. Why did KJV remove chapter summary and margin notes what I consider very useful features? I still wonder!!??@@
Anybody found KJV English grammar pattern? For example, second person, singular, present and past tense, the verb has either 'st' or 'est' ending. If thou wert = If you were thou wast = you were thou (singular) and ye (plural).
Third person or object, singular, present tense, the verb has either 'th' or 'eth' ending. He saith, cometh; it hath.
Satan interferes people from using KJV; he wants them to read corrupt versions. Some of them are really outrageous--completely different thoughts--and some are less serious. We KJV onlyism people are blessed to read it. GOD is perfect and so is HIS Word. Then KJV is the only (or near) perfect GOD'S Word, isn't it? Just think about it. Would HE not provide a genuine Bible for us when HE wants us to know HIM and obey HIS commandments CORRECTLY?
Do not bother with comparing difficult verses with corrupt versions because they would not help you at all but they would mislead you rather. Ask friends or go to KJV commentary or annotation notes to find out what they mean. If you have one and ask me thru this website, then I will help you gladly. Again stay with KJV. Try to understand them with cross references, and pray to GOD more importantly. Holy Ghost will teach you. Thanks
I will do my best to answer your question of "How do you pray in the Holy Ghost" from Jude 1:20. Others may want to give their view on this also.
In my experience as I have only been saved by the Lord Jesus Christ for just under two years. My life has taken many turns from a power not of my own. Experiencing miracles of healing, repenting from things of this world, and my prayer life that was non existent before being led to the Lord. I will testify that the Holy Spirit has taught me how to pray. As starting out praying I would maybe only say the our Father prayer. The prayer I say now every day takes about one hour and is from my heart. I give all credit to the Holy Ghost expanding my prayer life.
One other thing is that when I pray I usually don't speak out of my mouth. It is in Spirit.
I agree with what S Spencer stated on the most excellent gift of the Holy Ghost being love/charity.
Hope that helps some. God Bless.
1 Corinthians 13:2-5, 13. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,
"""and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing"""
Should Charity be accompanied with these other gifts?
Here is where I believe Charity separates it self from speaking in tongues, some of those who do seems to feel they are ahead of the pack.
(( Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up ))
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
I'm not sure they "always" confirm salvation.
Does The scripture says you know them by their fruit, are you Know them by their gifts?
Matthew 7:22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And we know the story of Balaam.
I don't think the gifts of the spirit do you any good with out the fruit of the spirit.
Do we always exercise these gifts and stay humble?
If it takes an experience for us to have faith is that really faith?
I only have one question ? Book Of Jude 8/9 says to pray always in the Holy Ghost building up our most holy faith praying in the Holy Ghost ...How do you pray in the Holy Ghost.......
Please be aware i have made the same spelling mistake ( spelling speak as sleak in my comment ) i wrote twice
ROMANS 8 VERSE 9 Refers to ACTS 5 VERSE 32.... and we are wittness of these things; and so also is the Holy
Ghost , whom God has given to them that obey him..
The problem today is Pastors who do not have the Holy Ghost have preconcieved ideas if the infilling of the Holy Sprit
referring to the fulness of God sperating the experience of what Jesus told Nicodemus what he must do to enter into the Kingdom of God..
Many preach the wrong context of the experience saying sleaking in tongues is a gift and Mark 16 says ...believers would speak in tongues ......
Zephaniah C 8 says ..
Therefore wait ye upon me , saith the LORD, until the day i rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that i may assemable the kingdoms,to pour on them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devouredwith the fire of my jealousy ..
Zephainah C 9 says... For then i will turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent .....
Isaiah C 28:11 says ..For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to his people .
Isaiah C 33:19 says...Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst percieve; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand .....
STAMMERING LIPS AND ANOTHER TONGUE IS REFERRING TO SPEAKING IN TONGUES
Book Of Jude ... best to read the book its only one page that referrs to mockers sensual having not the the Spirit of God when God instructs to pray always in the Holy Ghost building up our most holy faith, tells us how we do it praying in the Holy Ghost......
I know that the 'Tongues' issue has severely divided believers, but we all need to take a fresh & good look at the Scriptures on this issue & not depend on what we're taught from the pulpit.
Just to reply on your last sentence. I cannot say anything about people preaching the wrong context which I'm sure there are some that do. Only being able to speak on my own behalf. I believe speaking in different tongues is a gift from the Holy Spirit. Jesus does not say that every single believer, who receives the Holy Spirit, should "speak in tongues". Saying "these signs shall follow them that believe". It is not written that Jesus Christ ever spoke in tongues.
As I have no doubt that I have been blessed by the Lord to have received the Holy Ghost. As I may have some things, or gifts from the Lord, given to me that people who can speak in tongues don't have. Not that any of us in Christ are more important than the other. We are all One. 1 Corinthians 12 is a good chapter by Paul speaking of spiritual gifts and the body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 14:19 states how it is better for people to hear and understand your words than to speak in an unknown tongue to them.
As I am not taking anything away from people who have been blessed with the gift of speaking in tongues. I myself have no interest in this gift and have met other brothers in Christ who very much wanted this gift. They prayed earnestly for it and received it. God Bless them.
Please don't take my reply as an offense. I just wanted to post my feelings on this. Thank you.
God Bless you brother.
