Blessing, promotion, is at the discretion of God. Our effort, strength is so limited. What have you achieved that God has not given to you. That is why as christains we should be very mindful of boasting. The Bible says ' Who is man that you are so mindful of ' This tells us that Gods mercy is just the determinant of how far a man reaches in life.

His mercies are too common in the eye s of men,of him who is willeth,runneth.But in the present of GOD his mercies are powerful.

It is God that make thing to happen not our effort.

It 's interesting that it says Jacob I loved Esau I hated he did this prior to there earthly existence and not because Pf anything they did good or bad right or wrong ...mankind was judged guilty at the tree of knowledge good and evil because prior to that had no knowledge of sin. For him who knows its sin has sinned . So scripture says that the reason ma. Will be judged to hell is because he sinned against God both Jacob and Esau were sinners ...Both had the eternal judgment upon them ..my feeling is since the reason God hated Esau and loved Jacob was not on the basis opt sin but by his choice , therefore it couldn 't be salvationin question here because scripture says by sin and non belief a sinner ggoes to hell while a saved sinner goes to heaven be ause he believes God not because God chose him over and above someone else .

The power of a potter is unquestionable

God didnt love everybody in the Bible. That scripture makes it clear especially about Esau.

verse 13 threw 21 shows Gods devine nature and how he see s the hart and intent of man And that he is the maker He is in control of every man And he will judge and judge justly I think sometimes we forget we are the clay in his hand as was Jacob Esau and Pharaoh

It not because we are qaulify but by God s mercy and love

The scripture said Jacob have I loved but Esau have I hated Cain was not mentioned but without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin Esau hated his birthright and sold it for a morsel of soup and Cain brought an offering from the ground Both tried to please God without a blood sacrifice God loved Jacob because he came to Jesus by faith and without faith it is impossible to please God It is the sin of unbelief that God hates Esau and Cain could have been accepted had they come by faith as Abel and Jacob did

regardless of the mistakes of man when writing the bible trying to interpret the word of god I believe that God did not hate Cain but hated his attitude

Concerning verse 13. Why does he say "It is written, abel i loved and cain i hated"? Does it mean that God hated cain because of his attitude in sacrifice, compared to Abels sacrifice? And with the hundreds of translations of the Supposed spoken word of God. Whos authority does the Righteous God of the universe, endorse as being the true written word from god? Theres so much contoversy about the different translations and whos right and wrong in the interpretation of the words of god.

This passage has to do with salvation Though the children of God are so numerous only a remnant will be saved This tells you that the vast majority will not be saved Why Because they are deceived They follow another Jesus another gospel another spirit They have not discerned the truth of scripture and have fallen prey to false doctrine The traditions of men and the commentary of grievous wolves have led these children of God to the fire Few be saved

he that think he stand take heed lest he fall

IF I WOULD USE FOR AN THOUGHT I WOULD SAY FAVOR LORD. GOD HAVE MERCY ON WHOM HE WANT TO HAVE MERCY ON, I CAN GO BACK TO ANOTHER SCRIPTURE WHERE IT SAYS HE THAT THINKETH HE STAND TAKE HEED LEST HE FALL. GET IN THE FAVOR OF GOD

It teaches that all we need to make it in this life and the life to come is the MERCY of God!

God is merciful according to his tender mercy to those who(children) are candidate of favour.He's not moved by dea action, reaction or sin.

I believe that this is a wonderful type of the Grace of God given to us today in this Dispensation, through Jesus Christ, who payed for all of our sins: past present and even sins that we haven't even committed yet. Even "before we have done any good or evil" "Christ died for the ungodly",as Jacob was ungodly in his ways.

Inspite of every human free will to choices, HIS will, always stand. Halleluyah!

I think the scripture means exactly what it says. It does not say that it wasn't speaking about the two as individuals. It calls them by name. In fact it does not say anything at all about the descendants, however I feel that this certainly is true. For we have seen both at enemy with each other for thousands of years now. Why can't people just believe God's word? Why do they have to insert man made doctrine. My advise is just read and believe Gods word and understand the final warning to man at the end of the Holy Bible to people who change (add to, or take away) the true words of God. The true word of God has no copywrite in the front of the bible. In fact, God wants us to spread that word by mouth, or written. Anyway that we can is ok with Him. Try using the other versions and if you take donations or receive any money for your publications prepare to go to court and be sued. God himself has preserved the true Word of God until this day, and even though it is far down the list on all other versions that pop up when using Google search, I am convinced that it is for settled in Heaven and will stand the test of time. It makes me sick when anyone tries to tell me a scripture does not mean exactly what it says.
Nevertheless, I love you and pray that the Lord will bless you.

Foreknowledge precedes any predestination ( Rom 8:29). ( Gen 18:19) "For I know him," Then God proceeds to speak of what Abraham will do. Pharaoh is "foreknown" before he hardens his heart ( Ex 3:19); Judas is "foreknown" before his betrayl ( Jn 6:64). Biblical election is based on "foreknowledge" see ( 1 Pt 1:2).

The passage simply tells us that our natural ability,professional trainings are not enough to guarantee success. For the bible says if God didn't build the labour of him who built is in Vain.

They haven't been born,yet God has known what will happen. Truly God is an unquestionable God

Romans 9 vs 11 was given to me in my dream after my prayers to the lord about my will to do His only will. your explanation of the scripture gave me an incling to the understanding of what the lord is saying to me. i had doubted my call but was assured through the scripture. it is not by works but my election was made before i was born. This simply means that my calling is from God for a purpose and to His glory. pls remember me always in your prayers.Thanks

How much we GIVE is no guarantee on how much we GET. It takes only God's endorsement to UPGRADE a man

A man will measure his success by his achievements and his power(politically and monetarily) God will measure our success by our faith and our works.

I believe God is merciful beyond any human understanding. And we should always pray and seek His Mercy in all our life endeavors.
