I should be amazed, but I'm not...vs 21 is clear...Baptism is where forgiveness of sins takes place after the sinner repents and confesses his faith. Acts 22:16 backs this up as Saul still had his sins (not saved on the road to Damascus) and was told to arise and be baptized and wash away his sins. Baptism is not a work of man. It's called obedience. Find me where it says it's an "outward sign"
