Joe:Yes.Leviticus11:1-47 A list of Unclean Animals that are not to be Eaten.Verse 7-8 And The Swine--he is Unclean to You.--Their Flesh Shall Ye not Eat and Their Carcase Shall Ye not Touch/--Every Creature of God is good,Nothing to be Refused, if it's Received with Thanksgiving: 1Timothy 4:4-5/ Eating a Ham at Easter or Christmas, Seemed Like a Slap in The face of The Lamb. I now Eat No Ham
Every Creature of God is good,Nothing to be Refused, if it's Received with Thanksgiving. You said this and then reversed yourself. God told him raise and eat and he said Not so Lord for I have not eaten any unclean things all my days. God said to him, "What God has cleaned, call ye not unclean."
Stanjett - Yes. What reason does anyone have to overwrite the new testament with the old? God ordered His Word the way he did for a reason. That reason is for us to follow It in HIS ORDER.
I think Jesus cleared up any and all confusion over Mosaic Law with these verses in Matthew 22:
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
>> 40 On these two commandments hang ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS. <<
