    ...there is a multi-layerd lesson here...the sacrifice is a show of faith that the Lord will provide...it is also supposed to illustrate and educate that only first fruits are exceptable as God would one day do the same for us with his unblemished first born... Cain's unwillingness to worship God on God's terms is rebellion and vanity,a violation of God's law and the beginning of false religions
