Before anyone gets "caught up" in the idea that Jesus was referring to a pre-tribulation Rapture of the Church, let's look at these verses again. Jesus compares his coming as it was in the days of Noah and how, when they knew not that the flood was coming until it was upon them and "took them all away." Who was taken here? The unbelievers, of course. They were so wrapped up in their pleasures and their parties that they failed to heed the words of Noah, and the flood took them all away. Jesus goes one to say that two will be in the field, one will be "taken", the other, left. Two women grinding in the mill, one will be "taken" and the other one left. Clearly Jesus is explaining to us here that the unbelievers will be the ones taken, or destroyed as it were, while the church is spared. That does not coincide with a pre-tribulation rapture.
