When King Hezekiah is given the ultimatum from GOD by Isaiah, the most profound prophet of the land, he was well assured GOD's word could not be corrupted and that GOD was a respecter of no man. He did not begin with contentions and debates on whether it would come to pass but knew that GOD does not lie nor repent. He immediately turns to the wall(Verse 2) with groaning and tears. He did not feel shy crying before his subjects as king but wept before the LORD of life asking GOD to remember him this time. When we are given deadlines and seemingly certain things in our life are not working out. Turning to the LORD in adoration, worship and supplication would rather be a shortcut than vain complaining.
